Stefanos Foundation Transformation and Discipleship Centre Graduation Ceremony - August 2024

Stefanos Foundation Graduates the First Set of clients from its Transformation and Discipleship Centers.
On Saturday, 17th August, 2024, Stefanos Foundation graduated the first set of clients from it's Transformation and Discipleship centres.
Since June 2023, over 78 clients have passed through the centers. However, only 22, persevered and successfully graduated. This first set of 22 individuals have gone through at least 6 month programs at the centres where they were taken through rehabilitation and Discipleship as well as skill Acquisition trainings.
These centres were borne out of the need to rehabilitate the traumatized who were pushed into drugs by terror related activities and those newly converted and growing Christians.
Skill training and other components were introduced in order to help the clients proceed to start off life and be productive members of society.
The 17th August 2024 graduation ceremony was auspicious and well attended by client families, stakeholders and highly placed people in society. Worthy of note were Prof. Moses Audu - a Consultant Psyciatrist and Founder of the Quintessential Health Care Services who was the Keynote Speaker at the occasion and Hon. Matthew Kwarpo the member representing Mangu South constituency in the Plateau State House of Assembly as well as some clergy men.
The ceremony also featured songs, a special recitations and presentation of items to help the trained clients set up their businesses in the trades they have learnt.
Stefanos Foundation also plans to assist them in getting their shops so they are fully set to be productive members of society. Stefanos Foundation appreciates her stakeholders who have been a great part of this project.
We particularly appreciate Hon. Yakubu Jang for giving us the two facilities lease free to run the programmes.
We appreciate Prof. Moses Audu for his kindness is giving free consultancy which helped us in running the project.
We also appreciate our partners Christian Freedom International, USA and Church in Chains, Ireland who made the funds for renovation of the buildings and running of the program successful.
