  • A unique photo montage of the Stones' 1972 American Tour featuring some of my favorite clicks. I recently revised this segment, leaning a little harder into the west coast leg of the tour with even more photos from the vaults. I hope you enjoy-

Hello, thanks for making this. Love seeing it. I am in process of making a STP documentary on my own (as I have for other Stones albums). These are wonderful photos that the STONES fans should see! I am not sure if these are your photos or not, but hoping I can include some and mention your channel in doing so? Who took these? I recognize Jim Marshalls....please let me know. thanks!!

I’ve always wondered why Anita didn’t accompany Keith on this tour. I’ve never seen any pics of her on the tour.

She was only where the trouble was.

She was likely unsupportive of Keith's traveling companion Jolie Jones.

@@johannesbols57 The opening act was Stevie Wonder. I probably remember more about Stevie than the Stones. Stones played mostly Let it Bleed.
Stevie started on the drums and then came out and sang. “For once in my life” was the 3rd song.

In the Long Beach pics, Mick is dressed in a different outfit i.e. top hat and tan suit. Did they have a big party before the show or something?

I don't believe so... MJ was just doing the full rockstar thing that night.
