Stevie Wonder and The Stones for $5.50 (approx. $40 today). Entertainment priced for common people.
the played here in new zealand
Great, there’s a photo in. One of my old stones books from the 7os I think, featuring mick standing on a pile of rubble-Nicaragua
Excellent
Jagger could wear anything. Fabulous.
The song is 'Dance little sister'... 🎵🎶🎵
Tour full of great music jack coors hash and coke❤
Next year ❤ 1976 european tour ❤
Prince was the opening act for the 1978 tour dates in the U.S. He got booed off the stage and had bottles thrown at him.
Peter Tosh and Etta James for sure, had not heard about Prince.
It was 1981 L.A. colisium
❤
The cocaine and jack daniels tour
BILL WITH SUPERB SILVER BOOTS SOLD AT AN AUCTION 😂NOT MY SIZE 😢
It seems like the Stones were in top form for the show or shows, the recording sound is good, and the over all bit feels live.
August 10, 1975, Orchard Park, NY, love at first sight.
🔥 Thanks Emperor of Oldies
My pleasure!
great show!!! stones at there best!!! they should have toured that year! 1977 the only shows charlie was excellent!!! no video bummer!!!
Keith does not look good in any of these shots. looks like an addicted junkie im afraid
Don’t be afraid! He’s done just fine in the 47 years since then. 😄
Just bought this cd and it's great, however I find it really cheesy that there are intentionally no pictures of Bill Wyman anywhere in the entire package, especially when it was him that supplied Keith with what he absolutely needed to get through those sets after he was robbed by the Mounties.
Nice compilation! Mick looks a bit skinny these (Drug)years...)
Dig everything about this.
Keith needs a shave.
🎩 👅 *STONES AND NOTHING ELSE!*
Keith and Mick looks constantly to the monitor with the letters
What a rocker!!! ❤❤
They sound absolutely terrible. But they got it together months later on their US tour, and by November recorded a Madison Square Garden show for the classic Get Your Ya Ya's Out.
Mick Taylor'o solo is incredible on Satisfaction.
I did sound for the entire tour.
Wait, what?? I have a hundred questions!! Let me start with this, did they tape every show?
It’s all in this 332 page tome. th-cam.com/video/JhGTE5KOcvg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=MN0WTYGUxbekVvot
Wow , Ronnie's got the firebird 7 , I've never seen that picture of El, mocombo ,rehearsal or gig.
I saw them at the old JFK stadium in Philly in 1978 for the first time.
think I was at same show. it rained and bikers kept throwing fireworks Stones left after about 45 min
For once the lead guitar is almost loud enough❤
Keith wasn't looking to good but he was probably feeling pretty well?
Thats some riff! Didn't Jimmy Page once say that Keith should be in the R&R Hall of fame for that riff alone!!
I wonder if they had the embryonic idea of what some girls would have become at this point because Man were their creative juices flowing for that album!!!!!!🎉
I like it ❤🫦🇦🇷
Nice collection of photos, as in all your great What It Looked LIke-videos. Please note that the ones with Jagger in the white jumpsuit are from the second day.
Thanks. I chose not to separate the two nights in this montage due to the fact that there were so few shots from the first night. (It would have been an awkward break after only three frames!)
I have the Live recording on CD of this whole show and it is incredible. The Rocking Stones in a Club what a mind blower. I would have loved to have been there. Just like the early days of the Stones in sweaty British clubs in the 60`s this show is The Stones in a sweaty club in Toronto ,Canada in the 70`s How cool is that. Dance everybody Dance.
Are you talking about the official release? It IS awesome!!
@@Mark-dx8rr Yeah It`s awesome.
Ponelo completo en you tube
love this album and the moment in Stones's history
Was just in Toronto and took a pic infront of it . Wasn’t open and couldn’t get in
The ultimate club gig, especially considering Keith was looking at ten years for heroin trafficking.
What a legendary week for the Stones. Keith and Anita busted for heroin, Ron's fling with the first lady, the Stones in a bigger crisis than even 1967!
The cd makes it sound like they were playing Madison Square Garden.
Mick with a guitar. Is there really anything Keef and Ronnie can't handle?🤨🙄
FYI, the Setlist you list at 3:39 is incorrect, the last three songs were not played that night, those are just the bonus tracks on the recent official release of the show. Jumpin' Jack Flash the last song on both nights at El Mocambo
Correct. The list that you saw was from the official CD release.
...Myles Goodwin Had a Big Promo planned for "The Cockroaches"...
Such a cool side on "Love You Live."
The whole show is now available as of 2022 on lp
Mesa combo amp with the Graphic EQ. A really early one !
I drove down Spadina Ave that night, but upon seeing the marquee, Aopril Wine, i took a pass, what a shame, lol!
Cool! I was in grade 4 when they did this show. My mom was friends with the one-time owner of the El Mo, Mike Baird. He told us some cool stories about this show plus all the punk folks like Elvis Costello, Blondie etc, etc. The 70s was a pretty effed up time like today, but good things happened like this.
Not QUITE like today. People were shocked when RR was elected in 1980, but that was more "what happened to the 60s kids?" We had remnants of radicalism w/ Weather Underground but they devolved into sloppy bombers. Not a way to accrue supporters. The revolution in music was Television, Roxy Music, Eno, Dr. Buzzard, Chic, X-Ray Spex, X, the NY Dolls, Funkadelic etc....increasing tribalism!
0:34 she is checking new messages in her mobile ohone.
The El Mocombo, just around the corner from everybody's favourite drug store Rochdale College. I saw Freddie King, Bo Diddley plus a few others that I can't remember play there. Perhaps James Cotton was among them, or was that at the Colonial? I was living in Singapore when the Love You Live double LP came out but it was still cool cause I got to brag to my friends that I used to drink at the El Mocombo. Heaps of great music and shows back in those days......
