I am deciding between this and the P11 pro 2nd Gen at similar price I have my eye on. Differences on the P11 Pro: + 120Hz OLED display ? Precision pen 2 as opposed to tab pen plus - Smaller, lower res screen - Smaller, 8000mAh battery - Less RAM (6GB) Im wondering if any1 can advise. My biggest point of consideration is the screen and stylus. Im not too fussed about the OLED vs LCD, but would like the 120Hz screen cuz I hear the stylus experience is considerably better and that is pretty important for me. But, the 2GB less RAM and the smaller screen and battery are inclining me toward this P12. Which 1 is the better option? Also, does any1 know whether there is a difference in the functionality of the precision pen 2 and tab pen plus? Or any other major differences?
That is a tough one, both tablets are good in their own respects. The decision largely depends on your priorities. If the stylus experience is crucial for you, the 120Hz OLED screen on the P11 Pro 2nd Gen could provide a noticeable improvement. However, the P12 offers a larger, higher-res screen and more RAM, which can enhance overall usability. Regarding the stylus functionality, you might want to check with Lenovo's official resources or user reviews for specific details about the Precision Pen 2 versus the Tab Pen Plus. Consider your usage scenarios and which features matter most to you. Both are great tablets, but one might align better with your needs and preferences.

Advice if i could ask please. I'm trying to choose between this @ £249, or the samsing S9 Fe at £459... would you say the samsung is better, and if so, does it justify the near £200 difference? I'm looking to use for movies and light gaming, and general browsing?? Thanks
Hey, I personally, would go for the tab p12 at that price. The only main differences between the 2 would be the S9 FE comes with a 90Hz display vs the 60hz on the P12, in most other aspects the P12 trumps the FE (bigger battery, larger display, higher PPI display, quad JBL speakers) the FE comes with the Exynos 1380 which performs marginally better than the P12’s Dimensity 7050, and you also get cellular connectivity I believe with the FE, if you can look past those, for your use case of movies and light gaming the P12 is plenty to handle that.

Hey, that is a good question and one I’ve seen many times between tablets and laptops as the lines between them are getting blurry. It sounds like you're trying to find the right balance between the two. Considering your needs for web browsing, viewing pictures, and enjoying a good screen, a tablet might be a great fit. It offers portability and a quality display. However, the larger screen and dedicated keyboard of a laptop also have their advantages. If you're concerned about the extra cost of a tablet keyboard, you might want to explore 2-in-1 devices that combine tablet and laptop functionality? They often have detachable keyboards. Ultimately, the decision depends on your priorities and budget, and it’s not an easy one. For me personally, each device has its purposes, tablet more for media consumption and laptop for productivity.

I'm trying to upgrade from the m10 plus, would this be a good option for playing genshin impact at 60 fps?
The tablet can play Genshin impact and would be able to at 60FPS as long as the graphic and FPS settings were set to low
Is it good to just watch some movies on the plane and for browsing the internet? This is what i am looking for a tablet ?
Hey, more than capable of doing so. Quite a good a device for media consumption if you’re okay with the 60Hz screen
@@typicaltechlad Which one will be better for watching movies? P12 or P11 2nd generation?
@martigeorgiev6051 I would have to say the Lenovo Tab P12 as it is has a bigger screen, higher PPI and a 16:10 (compared to 15:9) aspect ratio, but the P11 2nd gen has higher 120Hz refresh rate
Is this tablet installed with Google Play Services for AR App?
Yes buddy all Google services are available
Interface zui or global rom same p12pro
How long would it be software supported?
Hi, as per Lenovo: “The Lenovo Tab P12 launches with Android 13 and is planned to received 2 major Android-OS upgrades through its lifecycle. It is planned to be supported with 4 years of security updates from its first availability”
Xiaomi pad 6 or Lenovo p12
Almost no presentation shows the visibility of the screen outside.
Hey how is the note taking feature of this tablet . Can you highlight the features like note to text or export text/picture from PDF or pdf edit etc .
In my testing the note taking features were very good, the stylus is very functional and allows for a good note taking/drawing. As to those additional features unfortunately I was unable to test these at the time

I'm not able to find this tablet in the US
Hi, unfortunately looks like this tablet isn’t available in the US at the moment, the tablet was released in select markets. I have checked and could not see any information if Lenovo were planning to release this in the US
@@typicaltechlad I went ahead I bought the P11 Gen 2 but I have a feeling the P12 will show up in the US in the next month or so
It's $350 without keyboard, or $400 with keyboard and stand.
@@mingkee27 Yes I know it popped up a month later after I bought the P11 Gen 2 😂 but I still might pick one up
Boat air buds connected with Lenovo P 12 but sound not coming.
May be best to unpair the headphones and pair again
Which is the best xiaomi pad 6 pro or lenovo p12 pro?
Unfortunately I haven’t had any hands on experience with both of those tablets yet, best thing would be to maybe compare the specs side by side?
price?
Price is displayed at start of video: £379.99
Full charging time
With the provided 20W charger you can get from 0 to full charge in approx 2 and a half hours
Hey as it has 60 hz rate .. so does it irritate while scrolling?
it does, feels very laggy if you're used to 144hz monitors
@@emjaynum8961 using it since January it's too good tab
why does this video have so many bot comments..?
Does it?
@@typicaltechlad yeah you have a few at the top of the tread for me that look very much like bot posts
There are so many bots talking about this tablet, in reddit it is also full. Its an ok tablet but the pen have bad support, cant ise the button to erase on onenote, 60hz, no earphone jack, and too heavy
Do you need to put a screen protector on this tablet ?
The tablet does not come with a pre-installed screen protector, so if you wanted to add one you would have to purchase separately
@@typicaltechlad Yes, okay. The quest for me is,.. As I see that samsung tablets often have more special named surface,.. And I see that at websites which sell the bookcases for tableets also sell screenprotectors for tablets.. When would you need to buy them ! As maybe with higher end you don't need to buy them... or maybe also, or never !
I see, there is no mention of any scratch resistance with this display so a screen protector would be the safer option.
How is it for note taking in particular? Does it stand anywhere close to ipad 9 generation? Does p12 support good notes?
What would you recommend p12 or ipad 9gen?
Note taking, reading and editing pdf is priority.
Plzz respond
Hi, note take was really good on this tablet. Unfortunately I don’t have any personal experience with the 9th gen iPad so cannot speak for that. But it might be best to research the iPad and weigh up your options
How Well can this handle light photo editing on lightroom etc?
Which stylus works better with this tab? Plz refer some here
In multitasking there is laggy???
Battery backup how much
Hey, what do you mean by battery backup?
I wonder how this compares with Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.7 2023 with snapdragon 870
Can we use this a second monitor for laptop
I believe you can using the Lenovo Freestyle functionality
Nowadays 60Hz should be non existent.
It also comes with Lenovo spyware which is next to impossible to disable. Worse than Microsoft.
I wasn’t aware of this
