It is pervasive on the farm I lived on in Northern California. I did not know better then, but I tilled it in my first year. BIG mistake...sort of lol Every little chunk turned into a new plant. Then a friend showed me how to cook it and it became constant harvesting instead of constant weeding of the purslaine. It has a great texture and not much flavor so add what you want to it. We mostly just added salt and lemon juice for a nice easy side dish.
