I’m so glad to hear you say that. If I start a video and there’s ridiculous music playing, or if they start right off telling family stories, or say hi to multitudes of people, or act like we’re best friends….i turn it off and go to another artist’s channel.
Shana, I have a tip for if you don’t have gold flakes. (I got this tip from Joie de Fi) Paint up some brown scrap paper, Amazon brown paper they stuff in boxes, or paper bags, with gold craft paint and glue down torn off bits and pieces to enhance your work. Works very effectively. 👍🏽

i LOVE no background music. Not everyone has the same tastes in music, and I get tired of turning the volume up and down trying to catch speaking. I applaud you for allowing quiet moments in your videos even though I love listening to your tips and tricks. You also have great lighting and a good background.

What I hate is music in craft videos, but what I do love is hearing the paper sounds even if it's playing fast and the volume can be low -- I ❤ it like that

This is the third time I have watched this video and I am sure I will watch it again. I quite like the silence instead of the background music as I tend to focus more on what you are doing..
It's fascinating watching you build all the elements as you work and how you play with the composition on each page to make everything flow throughout the journal. A gorgeous journal, the gold leaf works so well to give it something extra special. Beautiful.

Really enjoyed this series you put together. You work similar to me with flipping back and forth and moving things around. I also appreciate that you only talk when you are telling about a element or how to create something. So many times people try to just try to fill in the silence and repeatedly use the same words to describe an elements that is becomes obnoxious.
