Pretty awesome video and basic calculator. Can you make an over the top calculator that includes one guage for the rib and one for the stockinknit as well as a third part for a different stitch pattern on the leg, such as tuck. Lace, or even dbj? Whenever I do a fabric with rib, my rib stitch size is always tighter than my stockinknit, creating a different guage for that part of my garment or sock. Very impressed how well it did with doll socks. Probably just as good with baby socks also.

I don't know. Is there a formula, or what calculation must be made to use one tension swatch for the rib and the sock?

A pretty good question. As I do them, use the 2-1-2 rib, as it is actually more stitches, so it is looser, than a 1-1 rib. If you find that it still too tight, you might make the stitch size a step larger, but remember to drop back to the size you did your swatch.

I'll reach out to my friend Diane to see if there are any plans to make it accessible again in order to provide you with the information you're looking for.
