With every trailer that comes out, I can't wait for your reaction videos. Seriously guys, Superhero News has the best reactions/reviews. Great work, boys!
Honestly, I kinda want them to tone down Jennifer, shes a decent enough actress but shes been eating up too much screen time. REALLY hoping this doesn't become another mystic movie.
+Hector Navarro Exactly! It has been set up that this trilogy is about the three of them. I don't get why people are so shocked Raven would have this much to do when she is 1/3 of the story.
+JoeAXE Cleave I think the issue is that Jennifer is not really being mystique. She is not blue once in this trailer kinda weird embrace the whole character like they did in the OG X-men films.
+blackrock316 I contend that no Fox X-movie has ever shown us Mystique. The "real" Mystique, an old master assassin whose power allows her to LOOK eternally young, never went around naked, was never a slavishly devoted henchman to Magneto (She RAN the Brotherhood while Mags was off doing whatever!), and was never in love with Charles Xavier. With 2 different actresses, Bryan Singer gave us a "Mystique" that was weak--and still the only female character he treated as anything more than window dressing.

+mudit sharma It's not superhero / comic book (current) related. We'll react to it on our Geek & Sundry Twitch show on Wednesday at 7pm PST - twitch.tv/geekandsundry
James Macavoy can sell lines amazingly. It's one of the strengths of the flash show. It has some cheesy lines but everyone says them like they're just lines.
Great job guys! I'm excited to have found your channel. My comment about this trailer was: X-Men sure loves bridges (or hates them, depending on how you look at it). Keep up the good work!
Trailer looks great! But I agree 100%. Enought Mystique, enough Magneto. There are so many other great X-Men villains like Sinister. And time for the other X-Men to shine. Maybe that's why I'm glad Wolverine is not going to be in this movie.
Great video! Oscar Isaac has said in interviews that he drew inspiration from his religious background, and based Apocalypse off of the members of his church growing up. I think it translates really well to the character, like you guys said. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome video, started watching your videos about 4 days ago and I've watched them all now I think, you guys are funny and very informative. Keep it up, you guys are flipping great, you've helped me a lot.
I only subscribed recently but I've been watching your reactions/reviews since the first Batman V Superman trailer. Don't know why I haven't subscribed in that time but I'll just say the cliche thing, that you guys definitely deserve more subscribers than you have. I always anticipate your thoughts and analysis more than your reactions. Keep it up!!! :) On to the trailer, I didn't like it at first. The more I watch it, the more I like it. But: As soon as I heard Sophie Turner's American accent I instantly thought 'Why not just cast an American actress'? It's not really enough dialogue to make a judgment of it through the rest of the film, but I'm not expecting her to sell me on it. Then we come to Apocalypse. I love Oscar Issac and I don't doubt that he'll do a great job however the design just doesn't look like Apocalypse to me. His stature doesn't bother me (Not just because he can increase in size) and I actually kind of like his voice, makes him seem more human and it escalates in tone through the trailer. His armour is also cool but I just can't get over his design. Of course I don't want the massive A on his waist but his grey skin and blue lips is what makes him so menacing, along with his hulking size. Ever since someone pointed it out at Comic-con, even now that he isn't purple anymore, I still see Ivan Ooze. Jubilee looks great, Nightcrawler looks great, Cyclops looks great, Archangel and Storm also look great. How well the actors will perform we'll have to wait and see. I don't like that Lawrence seems to be Katniss instead of Mystique just because she doesn't like putting the make-up on. Fassbender and Mcavoy will again be perfect and I love how similar Mcavoy looks to Patrick Stewart. I remember in an interview he said that he gets put through something so stressful that he basically pulls his hair out. In the end I do like the trailer. I just hope that the next trailer gives us a better frontal look at Apocalypse, a better idea of what the plot will be and what exactly the scale of the movie will be. And more of an idea of what the new actors will be like. I trust Bryan Singer and I understand that it's the first trailer but, if anything, this has people either disinterested or worried regarding the new characters/aspect of the film. Just have to wait a few months for the next trailer to, hopefully, blow us away.
dude I'm so glad you mentioned the Rock I think Oscar was a good choice, but the 1st person I thought when they announced the film was Rock. He isn't great actor by any means but these films aren't big on that anyway. He's massive in size towering over all the other actors which is a plus he is decent at acting not to mention he's become box office he would've brought people that otherwise won't see the film to theaters. My grandmother loves him we loved watching him wrestle I could even get her to see the film if he was cast I'm not quite sure how many people are going to see it based off Oscar alone. In any case I approved of Oscar from day one he's a borderline great actor I'm glad he's on this come up of starring roles.
It's interesting you bring up James MacAvoy being able to deliver lines that could just be right out cheesy if he wasn't the one doing it. Cause that is rare to have an actor who's able to do that, example Tom Hanks in Castaway not the greatest movie in the world but would have been so much worse if not for Tom Hanks' ability to deliver those lines, if said by someone else would be unbelievable.
am sorry and I hate to say this...the trailer was god awful. a lot of people were complaining about Jennifer Lawrence. I was very surprise that we see so much of Katniss and no Mystique. Am hearing that she is tired of all the make up, doesn't that screw up the continuity of the X-men universe in a way?? This trailer is suppose to get you hyped up for the movie, but instead it left me and other people feeling meh. Am not surprise this trailer is getting mix to negative reaction from fans. Also the CGI is horrible. We have seen so many different comic book trailers that come out this year, some times they would have a scene that is a little bit off and everything else looks great, not the case for this trailer. I was not expecting Apocalypse to sound like that in the trailer, and I was just not impress with it. It looks to me that they are still working on his look, since it was obvious they were hiding his look all the way up until the end and still doesn't look right.
+blackrock316 I'm sure we'll see Mystique proper at some point in the movie. There wasn't much CGI in the trailer to judge, since the majority of the trailer seems to be composed of practical elements. The success and execution of 'Days of Future Past' is enough to sell me on this movie.
Superhero News the shot with Magneto in the air and just look at the back ground same goes for the last shot of Apocalypse. I really want to be excited for this movie and I jut can't. It looks to me that Jennifer Lawrence has to carry this movie because am not convince these new actors/actresses can judging from the trailer.
I think the look is great and the villain with the deep booming voice is just cliche I like that he sounds like the human he is. they still have plenty of time to work on the Cg and why would mystique carry it? she's not even a main character! she's not a villain? where was your complaint about that in first class? also this is world ending she's not dumb.
Yeah they have 50+ years of xmen stories to draw from and also 50+ years of spinoff teams (xforce, excalibur, new mutants, etc) not to mention the possible solo films. Basically, they're not going back to Marvel for a couple of decades minimum. Also, Mystique just saved the president 10 years earlier which explains that ultimately she chose to become a good guy.
Great review as always! BTW will you be reviewing winter finales/first half seasons of the superhero tv-shows? No need to hurry, just wondering if that's still your plan. Also Apocalypse seems like your basic better than good X-Men film, based on trailer. Agreed on what you said about lines and McAvoy's acting. Myself I hope that they do Storm justice and that she won't be just one-film-baddie but in the end becomes good again. I love how she's been the leader of X-Men in comics after Xavier and Wolverine died.
Captain Spider-Man Referring to the character as I know him today..that's from the comics or otherwise. Seen glances of him in Marvel movies but really not impressed. Apocalypse looks like a GOD!! We haven't got a full fledged appearance from him yet either bruh
+Earl W. There are the SUperStars villains like Sinister and Magneto; then there's the threat to them, Apocalypse; Thanos and DarkSeid and Braniac characters are the universal threats but I think someone like the Silver Surfer and Galactus take the cake for universal threats
+Asia Mayfield Why did Thanos seem terrifying to you? Did he kill somebody? Did he beat down a formidable enemy? Did he prove too much for the Guardians? I'm just curious, what? What are his overall intentions? With Apocalypse we have much to fear. The trailer did a good job of explaining why he is that dude. Even Professor X was like he never felt a power such as his as his eyes turned black. We know that Cap, Ironman, Hulk, all of em are gonna go head to head with Thanos but let's be real...there is absolutely no build up or reason. to fear this dude. Might change but we all know Marvel Studios famous for those throw away villains.
+Adam Hlavac Good shout-out to Comics Explained. Rob Jefferson runs one of the best resources on comics there is on TH-cam, along with Benny the Comicstorian, Aris Quinones at Variant, and Scott Nylander at Nerdsync. Good folks and they deserve the love!
I'm looking forward to this film and I'm going to be watching it opening day, but imagine how awesome that would be if the X-Men were done proper by Marvel Studios/Disney. One could hope, even though it wouldn't happen anytime soon.
Hey guys, will the Days of Future Past version of Toad and Ink be a part of this new Xmen movie? I liked Toad new costume in DoFP it looked cool. They should have form a Brother Hood and have Mystique lead them then have the Brotherhood join up with the Xmen to defeat Apocalypse. Let Cyclops (even though he is young) lead the Xmen. It’s about time Cyclops shine on the big screen.
I cannot understand how anyone can react negatively to this trailer - it's the most exciting, powerful trailer for an action movie I've seen in a very long time - especially the music which is just monu-fucking-mental. I may not be a comic-book/superhero expert, but the sequence showing the speedy guy from American Horror Story, the big angry baddie squishing the bloke in the wheelchair, the wingy-backed chap and the magnetic man making metal fly, all with those colossal chords in the background, was just... Made the hair on my back stand on end.
I love JLaw, but I hope Mystique goes blue in this movie bc I think that's when the character works best. She's a great actress, but I hope she isn't ruining the character.
If you pay close attention, there is the shot where she is full blue laying down in that chamber with Quicksilver, Nightcrawler and another mutant I can't tell...
I wondered about the Mystique looking like a normal human, too... and that after giving us lines like "It shouldn't be necessary (to look human)!" (X2) or "Proud to be a Mutant!" (First Class). Obviously it's because JLaw doesn't like the whole makeup, prosthetics and being pretty much nude, which i can understand. They could go and try selling it via Nightcrawler: "Look, i'm back to help you X-Men against Apocalypse, BUT OH, there's my abandoned son with the late Azazel! If i look like i naturally do, he will most probably ask questions as to why we have so many similarities... and i'm not willing to go there just yet." I know it's a shaky theory since the older X-Men could just tell him about her looks anyway or he might find her true appearance in some files, but hey, my favorite X-Men have always been the blue once and I WANT the family history to be acknowledged in the movie somehow, hence my little fantasy.
Psylocke is one of my favorite x-men and I'm pretty bummed but also excited that she and ArchAngel are horsemen. I'm honestly just stoked she's going to have a somewhat bigger part in a live-action movie. More Psylocke!!
Hector's reaction to seeing Nightcrawler for the first time is the exact same reaction I had when I filmed my reaction to this trailer. BTW, how did you guys miss the Twin Towers in the trailer?
This is possibly one of the few X-men movies I have looked forward to seeing.... And I could not eat any of those cakes of Abby's.... Unless she's singing too ;)
It was reported a while ago that, after this supposedly last "X-Men" film and the last Wolverine film, after Hugh Jackman and Jennifer Lawrence all step down from their mutant roles, Fox was going to try to bring in New Mutants as new generation to continue X-Men film franchise... Of course, nothing confirmed. Personally, I'm NOT OK with Fox trying to continue the X-Men film series like that. X-Men:Apocalypse looks promising, but it should be the last in the film series, as originally intended. Although I am looking forward to Deadpool film, a trilogy would the most for Deadpool. And I personally don't care about Gambit film.
I agree with the mystique comment. The new movies have focused to much on her. Only because Jennifer Lawrence. Would love to see sinister on the big screen
Days of Future Past, imo, is easily one of the greatest superhero movies of all time. Like, in my top 5 for sure. Though much of its impact comes from having seen the previous films but as a peice of film making, DOFP was just so good...confused as to where THAT Bryan Singer was when he made that Jack and Beanstalk movie and Superman Returns. I'm not sure how I feel about those visuals though in the last quarter of this trailer. Seems almost overly cartoonish to me...but I trust Bryan Singer.
I like the trailer. I'm more concerned about Sophie Turner. I wasn't sold on her playing Sansa Stark, it might be the way her character was written or just the way she acts, I don't know. Either way, I hope she does Jean Grey justice.
LOL You're waiting for X Men to go back to Marvel? That will NEEEEVVVVEEEERRR fucking happen. I suggest you adjust your expectations as far as that goes dude on the left. Sure, Fox might give up Fantastic 4 at some point.. but X Men will never be a part of the MCU. X Men is easily Fox's most profitable franchise. Plus, the X Men universe alone is large enough.. it would be a clusterfuck if all these X Men characters were shoehorned into the MCU.
+CrippledCamel Spider-Man was once Sony's most profitable franchise. ; ) Also, the X-Men have successfully been a part of the Marvel Universe since 1963 in this thing called "Marvel Comics." Give it a Google! It's worth a Google. = D
+Hector Navarro Only problem is Sony has made a bunch of shitty Spider-Man movies. There's really only been 1 bad X Men film and 1 not so great Wolverine movie. No shit X Men is part of the comics. That doesn't mean we need 50 + mutants just randomly thrown into the MCU. Fox is doing a good job with X Men - they need to stay where they are.
CrippledCamel Oh so you're aware of how X-Men have been a part of Marvel Comics? My bad, I thought you honestly had no idea. And also, maybe wait to see how Marvel Studios handles Spider-Man and maybe you'll want the X-Men characters to be moved over to Marvel, too.
Love you guys and your honest reviews but I have to disagree about what Hector said about returning the X-Men back to Marvel, just because Marvel already has a lot on their plate and I personally think Fox unlike Fantastic Four, obvious reasons, are doing quite well with the X-Men property. There are a lot of different tales the writers could tackle. I would love to see Dark Phoenix redone and retold on a more epic scale than the sour taste in our mouths we got in The Last Stand as one example. Its obvious at some point they are going to have to reboot X-Men again with a new actor playing Wolverine (the day, the day that will happen - crossfingers they get that right) but I just don't think they should go back to Marvel anytime soon. Keep up the good work fellas.
Maybe its because of civil war and batman v superman trailers but I was hoping for a hyper hype trailer. But after watching it with you guys and your analysis I could enjoy it, thank you guys.
Jason Melton not really. They both do a great job of setting up the conflict and tone. I probably won't be able to convince you, but for me and my buds, Apocalypse was really intense and the trailer promises a badass movie.
Actually, I have to say that I never let a trailer set the tone for me. So, even if this first trailer feels like X3 all over again, I already know I'm going to be pleased with the full film. There's just something more emotionally satisfying with the Civil War trailer; maybe it has to with the fact that it's doing what Star Trek used to do, which is take on relevant social and political issues of its time. Plus, everyone has dealt with loyalty/disappointment with best friends at some point.
Hector Is Oscar Isaac's stunt double/ doppleganger. Was watching Inside Llewyn Davis and was thinking Jezuz they could be brothers. But I agree Jennifer Lawrence is becoming oversaturated. I'm having a hard time distinguishing her from the character.
3 things that bug me about the trailer... #1 we still are not getting a proper Mystique... instead we're getting another Katniss. #2 Xavier knows full well that Jean is the most powerful psychic the world has ever known... there is no point in time that Xavier would EVER dismiss her dreams by saying "it was just a dream!" he and Jean would look into it... cause chances are... she may have accidentally read the mind of Apoc without knowing it. Xavier would want to know! #3 "from the ashes... we'll build a better one!" what the hell kind of crap line is that?! I was expecting something long the lines of "a world where only the strong will survive" or something close to that!
I love you guys, especially your optimism, but I personally think you are giving the producers way too much credit regarding the look of Apocalypse. I'm not a fan of the look and it seems like they have gone in and touched the colors up after the "Ivan Ooze" backlash. The trailer doesn't excite me at all, but I optimistically hope/think the film will be good. With Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, I'm glad you guys seem to be the only people on the Internet speaking about how out of character it is that she is walking around looking human! The whole thing about her character is that she is proud to be her beautiful blue self! Remember cringing at the line reading of: "Mutant and Proud"?! Now that JLaw is THE BIGGEST star in the world and has said she hates the blue body makeup, to which I wonder: why not 'simply' (jk) use motion capture? FOX seems to have gone out of their way to keep her happy even if it contradicts her entire value system in hopes of more JLaw X-Men films!
+Langley M Neely 1. We're not "optimistic" about how Apocalypse was shot on set versus what he looks like on film. This is a common occurrence when people shoot movies and then color correct them. 2. We don't know why Raven looks the way she does yet. We don't have the context. Maybe it's VERY in character.
+Hector Navarro I really hope so. As much as I fancy myself a pragmatic movie and comic book fan I still can't believe how just one really terrible comic book film (Fant4stic) can worry and cloud my judgement regarding FOX & their comic book properties! I know it's irrational and the very definition of being an unfair, judgmental fanboy, but I now can't help but go into every future FOX movie (Deadpool, X-Men Apocalypse, Gambit etc) with (at best) cautious trepidation, even though every film has a different creative team behind it. We've gone so long without seeing a truly awful "Batman & Robin" level comic book movie that we're spoiled, so now that FOX screwed up so badly it's got me (fairly/unfairly) eyeing every future film, hoping and praying that F4 was an anomaly, and that Apocalypse and Deadpool will trend upward in quality for FOX and their CBM. Cause let's face it, 3 HUGE critical AND financial flops in a row and the genre will be in serious danger of folding. Lol
+Hector Navarro I can take a guess that after the events of DOFP the American government are hunting for a Blue-shape shifting mutant that goes by the name of Mystique for the attempted assassination of then President Nixon (Something I doubt they would be so quick to forget) so Mystique might be limiting how often she uses her abilities in public. Well that's my guess for why (at least in the film) she isn't her real self. What do you reckon?
blackrock316 the continuity is already messed up because Mystique DIDN'T kill the president, so... that's already "out of character" according to the X-Men movie series.
The thing i hear about Jennifer Lawrence is that she didn't wan't go through 4 hours of makeup again, so they just went with it. Which I hate, since it's just Lawrence playing Lawrence. If she didn't want to do the character justice they should've recast her IMO. Though obviously she's a major face and they'd never do that. Damn shame.
Sorry to be late to the discussion. Out tree shopping w/youngest daughter. I agree with you that the trailer looks great. I think it will be a good movie, but I am one of the few NOT on the Bryan Singer hype train. I especially don't think he has any kind of feel for the female members of the X-Men--which is ironic for a super-team whose most powerful members (at least since 1975's Giant Size X-Men #1) have been women: Phoenix (Jean and Rachel), Storm, Rogue, Polaris, etc. The ONLY female character Singer gives any character development is Mystique--and he made her naked and either slavishly devoted to Magneto or hopelessly in love with Charles--NONE of which was true in the comics! Now I hear that Jubilee's part is so small that we nearly ended up with "the Jubilee cut" as we had X-Men: Days of Future Past--The Rogue Cut! I want Marvel to get the rights to these characters back--EVEN IF they don't interact with the rest of the MCU--because I want to see the X-Men characters, including the women, as they are meant to be seen. I want a Storm who was worshipped as an African goddess! Who is powerful and self-confident (except for her claustrophobia) and serves and team field leader (and, later, runs the school). I want a Kitty Pryde who goes on an adventure w/Wolverine to Japan and comes back no longer Sprite or Ariel, but SHADOWCAT! I want a Rogue who has the powers of Ms. Marvel and can punch out a Sentinel. I want a Jubilee who gets more than a cameo and I DEMAND a Jean Grey who, even before she was possessed by the Phoenix force was a badass! I want a Nightcrawler who doesn't give himself tattoos "for every sin" because his is a Joyous faith (it was Rahne Sinclair, Wolfsbane, whose version of Christianity made her ashamed of her mutant nature) which celebrated his gifts. I want to see him lose cases of beer to Wolverine in contests and rakishly court Meggan and/or Amanda Sexton! I'm never going to get X-men (or X-Calibur, New Mutants, X-Factor, X-Force, etc.) like that as long as Fox has them--and keeps making films that are "good enough." This trailer looks "good enough." Sigh.
+Michael Westmoreland-White... Damn Michael, you went old school! I thought I was the only person who remembered what the old Xmen were from the 80's, before there was such a thing as' Marvel Universes'. The thing Bryan Singer did in the *first* Xmen movie, which didn't make sense to me, is when he introduced Rogue & Wolverine together. One, Rogue was a young woman of 19-21, when we first see her in the comics AND Two, she & Wolverine were enemies, because Rogue was a member of the Brotherhood, with Emma Frost, Magneto and Mystique [who was Rogue's foster mother if I remember correctly]. Also, at this point and time, I was hoping they would have touched on Storm's origin by this time, because her life IS [hopefully] going to intersect with Black Panther's.
Sorry, Color of Caramel, but unless the movie rights return from Fox to Marvel, there's no way that Storm's life can "intersect" with Black Panther's in the movies. But, yes, I "went old school." I've been reading comics since 1968 and I collected every X-title from 1975 to 1990, when I switched to reading collected volumes and trade paperbacks--as comics became more expensive and I had a family. Movie adaptations are ADAPTATIONS and so I don't expect slavish reproduction. Bryan Singer treats the source material with more respect than others at Fox do, but still not enough, in my opinion.
With every trailer that comes out, I can't wait for your reaction videos.
Seriously guys, Superhero News has the best reactions/reviews. Great work, boys!
+Kush Gangar I agree
Its better if you don't watch nothing from the film until you actually see the whole Film.
"Or the bible got it from him". Love that line, it gave me chills first time i heard/watched it.
Honestly, I kinda want them to tone down Jennifer, shes a decent enough actress but shes been eating up too much screen time. REALLY hoping this doesn't become another mystic movie.
i didnt know she was in the movie is she gonna b in the next trailer?
+JoeAXE Cleave it's the third film in the "First Class" trilogy, where the main characters are Charles Xavier, Erik Lensherr and Raven/Mystique.
They might give her her own solo film lol.
Feels like Jennifer Lawrence is just playing Katniss, not Mystique
+Connor Jaegar that's the general consensus among fans who saw this trailer and its like where is Mystique
+Connor Jaegar yeah.. when she's Mystique.. she moves/slithers in a certain way.. that's who she is.. anything else is just a 'mask'
+Connor Jaegar She is playing herself. Good thing this is her last X-Men flick
+Michael Westmoreland-White Same happened with Magneto until they got Fassbender...give them time.

+Superhero News not only did i like it i loved it.. lmao
sex men sexpocalypse
+Superhero News By the way, about Jennifer Lawrence not being Mystique, I have heard that she has become allergic to body paint.
The old actress was 100x better as Mystique.
James Macavoy can sell lines amazingly. It's one of the strengths of the flash show. It has some cheesy lines but everyone says them like they're just lines.
Learned something new today about colors. Thanks mr.rios 😊
+Dawn Pakundo Yeah, didn't know that they do that in movies. It really explained why he looked that way in those magazine pics.
I like this first trailer a lot. It looks really cool and Oscar Isaac looks very badass as Apocalypse.
Half of Jubilee’s total screen time was in this trailer 😂
The "ya guey" part made me chuckle
I just want to see a CORRECT Phoenix Saga on the big screen, and I believe Sheridan and Turner and McAvoy can sell it.
And how did it turn out for you?
i just found out today my dad was able to buy tickets to a prescreen of star wars this Thursday!!!! so excited!!!!
Rewatching this but the information regarding the different types of cameras was really informative. Thank you!
Absolutely 100% agree with you guys,I'd really like to see them use cyclops,Phoenix and all the other under-utilized x men to their full potential
Came for a trailer reaction. Got some movie editing trivia as a bonus. Stay classy and informative gentlemen.
I only subscribed recently but I've been watching your reactions/reviews since the first Batman V Superman trailer. Don't know why I haven't subscribed in that time but I'll just say the cliche thing, that you guys definitely deserve more subscribers than you have. On to the trailer, I didn't like it at first. The more I watch it, the more I like it. But:
As soon as I heard Sophie Turner's American accent I instantly thought 'Why not just cast an American actress'? It's not really enough dialogue to make a judgment of it through the rest of the film, but I'm not expecting her to sell me on it.
Then we come to Apocalypse. I love Oscar Issac and I don't doubt that he'll do a great job however the design just doesn't look like Apocalypse to me.
Superhero News
the shot with Magneto in the air and just look at the back ground same goes for the last shot of Apocalypse. I really want to be excited for this movie and I jut can't. It looks to me that Jennifer Lawrence has to carry this movie because am not convince these new actors/actresses can judging from the trailer.
+blackrock316 she is a good actor
+datboi forthere she a good actress, but in this trailer, we not seeing Mystique or even a glimpse of that character.
This Chanel has become one of my favourite since the BVS comic con trailer.
+Freshyrosay Thanks so much for tuning in.
+Superhero News No problem guys keep up the good work.
I always enjoy watching you react, :) and also learn more about film making :) great job guys :)
Yes
Now the more interesting villain IS Apocalypse. Thanos is overrated as shit!
Bruh Thanos hasn't even made a full fledged appearance yet
Captain Spider-Man Referring to the character as I know him today..that's from the comics or otherwise. Seen glances of him in Marvel movies but really not impressed. Apocalypse looks like a GOD!! We haven't got a full fledged appearance from him yet either bruh
agree
Might change but we all know Marvel Studios famous for those throw away villains.
your guy's reaction to apocalypses giant size was hilarious it's the same reaction that I had also cool video man
Excellent taste in beer👍🏻 Lagunitas has some good stuff! Oh and good reaction. Haha
you guys are so awesome love ur in depth analysis
+Shahnaz Khan Thanks for appreciating our discussions.
I freakin' LOVED this trailer. The epic scale if off the charts!
These people remind me of Blindwave so Much
+Adam Hlavac Good shout-out to Comics Explained. Rob Jefferson runs one of the best resources on comics there is on TH-cam, along with Benny the Comicstorian, Aris Quinones at Variant, and Scott Nylander at Nerdsync. Good folks and they deserve the love!
+Michael Westmoreland-White Ooh, forgot to also mention the great ComicbookGirl19! She's awesome.
I'm looking forward to this film and I'm going to be watching it opening day, but imagine how awesome that would be if the X-Men were done proper by Marvel Studios/Disney. One could hope, even though it wouldn't happen anytime soon.
HEY SO ABOUT THAT! 6 YEARS LATER AND WE GOT PROFESSOR X IN MARVEL!
5:45 "Ya guey" lmao😂
Made the hair on my back stand on end.
hey guys love the show .when you watch it again tell me does Apocalypse have a brando'ish sound ? great trailer keep em coming............
lol Charles at the end in the wheelchair looks like agent 47
With the X men coming, you guys should react to the "Ex men" sketches with Pete Holmes, they're great ;)
how do people add the trailer video to their reaction videos? like that little box showing the trailer
gz to 25k
I love JLaw, but I hope Mystique goes blue in this movie bc I think that's when the character works best. She's a great actress, but I hope she isn't ruining the character.
If you pay close attention, there is the shot where she is full blue laying down in that chamber with Quicksilver, Nightcrawler and another mutant I can't tell...
What microphones do you guys use?
Yo, Hector predicted how the professor would loose his hair.
If i look like i naturally do, he will most probably ask questions as to why we have so many similarities... and i'm not willing to go there just yet."
I know it's a shaky theory since the older X-Men could just tell him about her looks anyway or he might find her true appearance in some files, but hey, my favorite X-Men have always been the blue once and I WANT the family history to be acknowledged in the movie somehow, hence my little fantasy.
Hector! You look like you just woke up and can't wait to get this over with! LOL
I wish they would send Captain Crunch back to Marvel.
This is the last movie for a lot of people who started in first class so I think they will kinda pass the torch in this one
🎶To the center of the city in the night waiting for cake🎶
Psylocke is one of my favorite x-men and I'm pretty bummed but also excited that she and ArchAngel are horsemen. I'm honestly just stoked she's going to have a somewhat bigger part in a live-action movie. More Psylocke!!
after days of future past I'm excited for this one, the tone for the trailer is perfect, really dark, looks awesome
Hector's reaction to seeing Nightcrawler for the first time is the exact same reaction I had when I filmed my reaction to this trailer. BTW, how did you guys miss the Twin Towers in the trailer?
I only want they do a great Cyclops, he deserves it!
+Mauricio Jara YES! Tye Sheridan is a good choice.
This is possibly one of the few X-men movies I have looked forward to seeing.... And I could not eat any of those cakes of Abby's.... Unless she's singing too ;)
Whats really funny is he said in first class when Hank asked to shave his hair off he says "don't touch my hair" and now he shaves it all off.
Adam looks like Christopher Nolan :)
I'd like to absorb his brain power too, if possible.
you guys have so much synergy and chemistry.
insta-subscribe
That's what it's all about! Thank you.
I would love to see an X-Men:onslaught movie.
is x-men onslaught current or is it another back in the past x-men ?
+Kie Weston Should be the current since both Magneto and Professor X are enemies currently.
Nova Ruk™ oh!
This was the first x men movie I saw in the cinema and, as a massive fan of the franchise, this was pretty good.
Y'all need to tell us where you buy your shirts. Pretty sure you've told us before, but I forgot :D
Seems almost overly cartoonish to me...but I trust Bryan Singer.
both apocalypse and thanos are rad
Beer
+Dayana Parreira *Cheers* :)
your guys studio near G&S or at there?
am I the only one who watched Agustin eat bb-8 the whole time lol.
auggies reaction his gigantic is priceless it's hilarious man
5:45 hahahaha nice friend!! fue divertido.
¿No creen que la imagen de en sabah nur pudo haberse visto mejor si su nariz no fuera tan grande?
I like the trailer. I'm more concerned about Sophie Turner. I wasn't sold on her playing Sansa Stark, it might be the way her character was written or just the way she acts, I don't know. Either way, I hope she does Jean Grey justice.
6:56 best reaction!
Plus, the X Men universe alone is large enough.. it would be a clusterfuck if all these X Men characters were shoehorned into the MCU.
agree.
+CrippledCamel Spider-Man was once Sony's most profitable franchise. ; )
Also, the X-Men have successfully been a part of the Marvel Universe since 1963 in this thing called "Marvel Comics." Give it a Google! It's worth a Google. = D
+Hector Navarro LOL
Scene68 Skip 3 years forward and Marvel will have bought Fox completely by March.
Maybe its because of civil war and batman v superman trailers but I was hoping for a hyper hype trailer. But after watching it with you guys and your analysis I could enjoy it, thank you guys.
+DetractosPwns I hyped it was pretty hype. The hype hype hype is all hype. hype hype hype hype hype hype hype HYPE hype.
It looks good, but it looks so over-polished, and edited so smoothly, it doesn't build anxiety. Kind of like a TV movie preview.
+Jason Melton disagree = )
+Hector Navarro Really? Compared to the Civil War trailer it pales in comparison, and these are both first trailers.
Yo that was an intense trailer. That was really intense.
you guys always have the best things to say :D
Hey guys the trailers for Fantastic Beasts and Independence day are coming soon ;)
Hey guys, new Independence Day trailer dropped. Looks like they're not screwing around, either.
such a good content, why so small amount of subcribers?
I wish you guys would react to some anime, like Attack on Titan or Fairy Tail, those are one of the good animes
Sou do Brasil e começei a acompanhar esse canal que é muito bom
he is really eating the fuckin cake...dude :)
New mutants. Wolverine 3. Bryan Singer said he's coming back for another x-men movie. Fox isn't out of ideas.
You guys are great!!
Guys will you be reacting to the Independence Day: Resurgence trailer?
5:43 YA WEEY..¡¡¡ xD
btw, im from Mexico.
Agustin, your clothes are unreal. Where did you get that shirt??? please! total holiday gift for myself. nice find.
Dope shirt, Hector!
+Langley M Neely "Mutant and Proud"..it seems to me that the continuity is messed up if we see 80% of Jennifer Lawrence instead of Mystique.
blackrock316 the continuity is already messed up because Mystique DIDN'T kill the president, so... that's already "out of character" according to the X-Men movie series.
BWAAAAAH.......BWAAAAAH......BWAAAAAH....
James did shaved he's head. I wonder why wolverine isn't in it but other then that, love the tone of the trailer I cant wait for it :-)
The thing i hear about Jennifer Lawrence is that she didn't wan't go through 4 hours of makeup again, so they just went with it. Which I hate, since it's just Lawrence playing Lawrence. If she didn't want to do the character justice they should've recast her IMO. Though obviously she's a major face and they'd never do that. Damn shame.
I swear that professor x looked like a crippled hitman at the end
+Michael Westmoreland-White I've always thought Halle Berry was VERY miscast as Storm. = (
Hector Navarro IDK if it was mis-casting or bad direction, but it sure didn't work!
