To understand preservation, we have to first understand revelation. Once you understand revelation, and the 7 letters, you automatically understand preservation correctly.

1:27:37 I finally understand Islamic logic. When David Wood says the dawah dudes just say a bunch of words and then say, "You're finished, boy," it's literally that simple. There isn't any underlying logical framework. Nothing said needs to be internally consistent, externally consistent, or relevant. You just say words. The years I have spent trying to understand the gnostic pagan moon worship and Arian and pharisaical roots of Islam are entirely irrelevant.
We hear perfect preservation down to the letter and see the thousands of variants and think that they disprove it. But, if someone were to say, "No, no, no. There are 40 different readings. Any one of those readings is good enough. They are all correct." Then you point out that they have irreconcilable differences, and they say, "No. Arabic is a beautiful language where words don't have meaning. You can say any words, and it always means what I say it means." Then, they have refuted you.
There is no depth or complexity. There is no rationality. It's literally just low-IQ hedonism. It isn't 4D chess, it's the game the 6 year old across the street plays where he makes up the rules as he goes along so that he always wins. I feel like I've gotten dumber just by understanding it.

Correct, but you don't see any of these mental gymnastics in countries like Pakistan or Afghanistan. If you were to try and ask intelligent questions they would just pick up some large rocks and prove you wrong, permanently. That is how rational discourse operates in cult majority countries.

Wow! I enjoyed reading your post and the thoughts expressed therein validated mine too. There's a culture of storytelling and embellishing and to put it in simplistic terms, after years of studying Islam and growing up in the MiddleEast I've seen that it has a grain of truth but encased by layers and layers of exaggerations, embellishments just like the nacre surrounding the grain of sand or irritant in an oyster that becomes a luminous pearl..lol .Well the Quran never encourages logic as it's always Naql( Revelation) over Aql ( Reasoning) and to conclude there are Holes in the narrative yet perfectly preserved like the holes on a slice of my favourite Emmentel cheese...lol

Instead of writing a whole page the Quran can be recited using another Qiraat, via text just changing a few diacritical mark here and there while still maintaining the same spelling, the readers have a vivid picture of the narrative. About your claims of Jesus just being a great prophet is completely
Jesus said he had the same glory God had before creation.
Jesus calls himself the resurrection the truth and the life
Jesus said he give eternal life
Jesus says all what belongs to the father belongs to him

Jesus said he had the authority to forgive sins.
Jesus said the disciples to ask anything in his name and he will grant you to them.
Jesus said he can do everything that God those etc etc Now show me any prophet, man or creature making any such claims like Jesus in the whole Bible ?the answer is it doesn't exist.
Christians didn't choose to worship Jesus or have such a complicated view of God for fun but because the Bible forces us to do to so which is why common Islamic rhetoric is abt claiming that the Bible is corrupted .Heck Christians could have claimed that Jesus was a completely separate God from the father as Arians did and the religion will have still being spread and still be fine but our churches fathers put so much emphasis on the Trinity because it was the truth and biblical not because of ego.
And I know Allah means God but you Muslims will have to prove that Mohammed was an actual prophet from God the God of Israel and that Allah is the God of Abraham without appealing to some rhetoric like saying the Bible or Torah were corrupted or using dumb argument like perfect preservation.
From all the evidence I see either Jesus was a liar as the Jews claim or he was God in flesh there is no in between

1 - It’s not memorized from the time of it’s writing or at any time,
2 - The earliest full manuscripts are from the 4th century. Hence no way of ensuring that what you have is indeed what was written.
3 - Later Greek manuscripts and the ones used today have verses that are not present in the earliest manuscripts such as codex sinaiticus and codex Vaticanus, e.g:
    - Mark 16: 9 - 20 is not in codex Sinaiticus and Vaticanus (most ancient and authoritative), these could be later forgeries
    - John 7:53-8:11 are not in codex Sinaiticus, could be later forgeries
4 - The most ancient complete manuscript Codex Sinaiticus has doctored and sexed up verses, e.g., Matthew 28:19 “…. Baptise in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit” is in 4th Century Sinaiticus, but in the 3rd-century writing of Eusebius where this verse is mentioned many times don’t have these trinity bits.

This is really a success for Islam !
In other words, Christians admit that today's Quran traces back to Uthman 🙂 🙂 🙂 You don't even realize what you're saying; the Sahaba lied during the first 1-10 years, and then truly preserved the Quran in its complexity for nearly 1,400 years, i.e., incl. the Qiraat...(which makes the preservation even more difficult, this is the irony 🙂)
The most important thing, which eruopeans lacks to understand is, that the oral-tradition is much more robust. Who do you think the reputable Publisher of any Quran-Book goes to in order to check whether its correct ??? ALWAYS TO MEMMORIZERS, THEY NEVER CHECK IT AGAINST AN HARDCOPY !!
Wake up or keep sleeping, it's your choice...
    ........................................
    *Here's a bit more detailed:*
The problem is simply Chris's competence, or rather, the difficulty. It was clear to see how Chris, the pseudo-Islamic scholar, tried to pick out errors but unfortunately without success. Chris talks about one verse there or not there, when all knew its from the Quran 🙂he always makes me laugh, Christians lost their whole book, even from the corrupted bibles they throuw away whole chapters and verses, 🙂its just surreal...
Ahruf or Qirat, you can derive thousands of Qirat from the Quran, but they follow certain rules and must be traceable back to Muhammad (peace be upon him), THAT IS THE KEY because he was the teacher of the Sahaba. Chris demands that Muhammad (peace be upon him) reproduces the number of Qirat 🙂 Chris simply lacks knowledge; its like saying, Muhammad as. should have mentioned the amount of Verses revealed 🙂you can choose the combination of readings yourself. This means you have to read the verse (there are over 6,000) in ONE valid Qiraat, but you can reread all the others in another Qiraat; this means you could theoretically come up with tens of thousands of Qiraat. (known in maths as the Cartesian product) But it suffices to combine those that encompass all readings, which is realized with 10 readings (a combination of all possible Qiraat) directly attributed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Because every Sahabi who learned the Quran and was taught it by a Companion of the Prophet as. (who himself learned it from the Prophet) or directly from Muhammad (peace be upon him). In other words, the oral transmission was personally endorsed by Muhammad (peace be upon him). If now other Sahaba or descendants of the Sahaba mix the various readings (valid) together, then that is still valid. What is always important is that you have an uninterrupted transmission chain back to the Prophet (peace be upon him).
Qirat is simply a combination of readings in one! If you really want to understand this, then read Karen Armstrong, or Professor Angelika Neuwirth - you're begging for errors in the Quran, yet you haven't even seen 0.00000001% of Jesus's writings. Why do you desperatly try to find a Muslim without shoes when you dont even have any clothes anymore 😞sad...
Look what Prof. Neuwirth even further says, and she is a Non-Muslim expert, not like Chris a Christian-Bias Speakers Corner Out-Of-The-Context-Debater:
An interview with Professor Angelika Neuwirth, who is a professor of Qur’anic Studies, argued that the Qur’ān has never been successfully challenged by anyone, past or present: *“…no one has succeeded, this is right… I really think that the Qur’an has even brought Western researchers embarrassment, who weren’t able to clarify how suddenly in an environment where there were not any appreciable written text, appeared the Qur’an with its richness of ideas and its magnificent wordings.”*
Listen, let's go the other way around, currently, there is only one Quran incl. Qiraat, now trace them back, when do you find another Quran 🙂 Never 🙂
If there had been other Qurans, they would have spread because Muslims were geographically widespread beyond the reach of Uthman and his call to bring all manuscripts. Do you reallly think he was a magician and got all manuskripts by clapping in his hands... you really believe in Aladin...
But now, a different question, which of the Bibles (translated library) is actually the true one 🙂
    Eastern Orthodox Bible
    Coptic Orthodox Bible
    Ethiopian Orthodox Bible
    Syriac Orthodox Bible
    Russian Orthodox Bible
    Latin Vulgate
    King James Version (KJV)
    New International Version (NIV)
    Revised Standard Version (RSV)
    New American Bible (NAB)
    endless-loop....
May Allah s.w. guide your christian friends !

    THE FIRST AND THE LAST
Surah 57:3 of the Qur’an refers to Allah as “the First and the Last, the Most High and the Most Near.” The Old Testament agrees that God is the “First and the Last,” as we read in the Book of the prophet Isaiah:
Isaiah 44:6-Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: “I am the first and I am the last, and there is no God besides Me.”
When “LORD” is written in all capitals in the Old Testament, the term refers to Yahweh, the creator of the universe. Since both the Bible and the Qur’an give the title “the First and the Last” to God, it should be quite shocking for Muslims to open the New Testament and read Revelation 1:17-18, where Jesus says:
“Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last, and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.”
Would a mere prophet claim to be the “First and the Last”?

    My name is Ismail Omer
So I have studied and learnt everything available to me on both my names ...
Arab are beduin nomads , before oil , they were under the Ottaman Empire ...
Qur'an uses a it's own Lexicon ... It's syntax is different in its own style

2:14:43 - JESUS PRAYED LIKE MUSLIMS?
No, Muslims pray in one of the ways that Jesus did, except that He also prayed to His Father, which "Allah" categorically denies is impossible in ANY manner. Thus, Jesus was NEVER a Muslim; they need Him, but He completely rejects them and their ilk. Repent, Muslims, from your own righteousness and have faith toward Jesus, be baptized into Him, accept that He will take your sins upon Himself, and that you will then be resurrected unto eternal life and justified (Heb 6:1-2). The end. 🙏👳‍♂️👍
