Oh wow, you did so well, just in one week! Mahtava video, puhut hyvin suomea! I didn't think I'd see you speak Finnish on this channel. :D This definitely shows how much someone can learn if they are willing to work on it, now I don't have any excuses to not learn another language... :D
Voi voi voi, this is so impressive! I feel thoroughly inadequate that I'm struggling so much with Estonian and you got to this level in a week! Very well done!
Don't feel inadequate. You can do it! A week-long blitz sounds like a lot, but it can be done surprisingly easily, and it yields pretty immediate results :)

Thank you for being such an inspiration, sir. It's remarkable how you've mastered so much Finnish in such a short time, while I'm still grappling with the basics after three months. Perhaps it all comes down to focus and the right strategy. Thanks again!
I've never been very interested in learning the uralic languages due to distance , lack of worldwide use, etc but now, I've found out that I'm descended from Finns and Swedes from the 1638 colony of New Sweden in delaware, and it fascinates me.

So true, great job! I know an Irish guy who have lived in Finland for 10y already but he still doesn't speak much Finnish. He feels he doesn't have to, you survive with English just fine, in Helsinki at least. But naturally you will remain isolated from the Finnish culture, more or less.

I've always been interested in Danish, and I started dabbling in it around 2018 after I visited Copenhagen. It's been a steady dabble since then, and now I make it part of my learning cycle. @@ThePolyglotFiles Good luck! looking forward to it, I study Danish at the university, so I am often curious about Danish and what appeals to different people about it.
