Great job. I lived in New Zealand for nine years and spent time in all 16 Regions, although I never made it to Stewart Island or the Chatham Islands. I will be teaching a university course on New Zealand next year, and I will show this and a few of your other videos to the students. Thanks for your good work.
Sweet as, thank you! And very helpful. I thought Greymouth had the same pronunciation as Plymouth. I mostly know about Greymouth because of the TranzAlpine train journey to Christchurch. I'm going to do that next year (and lots of other things) when I visit Aotearoa.
You were actually initially correct in including the Tasman District in the Nelson Region. It's a bit of a confusing, blurry line as they are different unitary authorities.
You spelt and pronounced Mount Ngāuruhoe wrong! Lake Tekapo was also not great. Aoraki being included with Mount Cook would be good. Really appreciate your Te Reo pronunciation otherwise though 💚 Was disappointed you didn't offer any Māori names for the regions, plus it would probably have been useful to explain the breakdown of some regions into Districts. but a great video overall. Kia ora

Why only change the English names?
Tauranga would be phonetectically Toerungar.
Go figure.
