    I love the dial. It looks so shiny! Almost like a mirror

      You can bet that in many light conditions that mirror-like dial and shiny numerals are about impossible to read.

      It's very handsome on this watch, and the contrast between polished and brushed surfaces is impressive.

    The new 2016 Seamaster Planet Ocean range are really cool watches with updated materials, functions & complications, I love the more mature strap on this model over the childish orange stitch on the other options, but why are they soooo BIG??

    • @RootBeerGMT
      @RootBeerGMT 5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      mistersod They are big. They are tough. This is a mans watch. Embrace it or head on down to the apple store and join the groomed beard/skinny jeans 👖 crowd with your latte in hand and find yourself something more suitable.

    Dang the audio quality seems so much better 4 years ago than it does now. Now it sounds like you're in a hallway. Tim can you go back to a better mic system?

    too big and too thick, but there is a market for it, so I understand why Omega made it. I would love to see Diver 300M master co-axial in ceramic in 2019! But it must remain 41mm, that would the most wanted watch in 2019! Listen OMEGA - this is what you should do!

  • @powerplay.556
    @powerplay.556 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Tim your narration is always impeccable but the close up wrist shots are terrible. Not sure if your wrist size should be modelling anything over 42mm.

    One hand is for second, another - minutes, then - hours...what is the additional hand for?

    • @brandonfuqua480
      @brandonfuqua480 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It's a GMT, the additional hand tracks 2nd time zone

  • @ZCT808
    @ZCT808 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I used to own one of the early Planet Ocean watches at 45.5mm. But the original watch was at least semi-reasonable in width. These new in-house versions are so thick it is quite absurd for most people. It's honestly hard to fathom what the intended market is here. I mean who absolutely can't live with a watch certified to 'only' 300m or something like that? I wish they'd do a less extreme, less bulky version kind of like the Aqua Terra, but more in the Planet Ocean style.

    Omega really needs to make one of these without the GMT.

    • @RootBeerGMT
      @RootBeerGMT 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Patrick Santos I think the GMT makes it ideal.

    • @rodolforodriguez2592
      @rodolforodriguez2592 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      that essentially makes it a basic omega watch... for a watch over $10K it needs to be either a chrono or gmt, etc

    • @RootBeerGMT
      @RootBeerGMT 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Patrick Santos The GMT function not only looks good. It’s also useful.

    When did you ever say anything remotely negative about a watch? These reviews are total BS. Is a sales job.

    • @ZCT808
      @ZCT808 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      He is literally selling watches. He literally states you can buy the watch on the website. Why would he make a video criticizing watches he is trying to sell?

    • @leofcpm
      @leofcpm 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you want a watch to use with a suit, there's a number of options on the market... Why would you choose a big diver watch for that? lol

    • @powerplay.556
      @powerplay.556 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@robynsjp This is a dive watch. Who said you need to wear it with a business suit? It's a weekend watch with casual attire. If traditional and tiny watches suit you better or you can only afford one watch to wear all week then I can understand why you sound so bitter.
