ABOUT THIS SERIES:
For centuries nodes of the Moon 'Rahu' and 'Ketu' have baffled Vedic astrologers in terms of the results they give in their 'mahadasha' and 'antardasha'.
In fact, when it comes to analyzing their influence in a person's life from the perspective of transits, it becomes even more tricky as there doesn't really seem to be a consensus on how to look at and understand at their impact.
I have spent a lot of years reading, writing and researching on the topic of the 'nodes' and have been lucky to have received a lot of love and recognition for the same. In this series, I seek to share this knowledge with my viewers along with a very unique perspective that will not only help you understand the energy of the nodes but also how to channel that energy to fulfill your life purpose.
With each episode, we shall be studying the impact of the North node and South node of the Moon via placements in the natal chart, 'Navamsha' (D-9), 'Dashamasha'(D-10), 'Shashtiamsha' (D-60) and transits. I will expand into the other divisional charts as well but let's hope and aim to fulfill the primary objectives first.
ABOUT KETU IN NINTH HOUSE in birth chart
Whenever you have the South node of the Moon 'Ketu' in the ninth house of the birth chart, that shows us that one of the primary objectives of your soul in this becoming an authority, a mentor and a guide to others. It's to become a 'subject matter expert' so to speak. South node in 9th house people are destined to become masters of their craft.
You know the kind of people who have achieved great new things in their field and then go on later to guide and mentor others on how they did what they did?
They are often 'Ketu' in 9th house individuals.
It's true that this can often be the case for 'Rahu' in 9th house placements too.
In fact, you will often see a lot of individuals will display characteristics of the nodal placements in the opposite ends of the axis as well.
Why is that? That's because even though one may have let's say the North node placed in the 3rd indicating that the soul's purpose in this lifetime is in the area of self efforts and daring new tasks, due to whatever reason, individuals often find themselves stuck in the opposite end of the axis i.e. the 'Ketu' side of the chart. I just wanted to share this here because it's an important side note for ardent learners of this field.
Now, with 'Ketu' in the 9th house, you will often see that these individuals don't have a lot of support or guidance early on in life and as a result of this they are forced to find their own way in their career and chosen field.
Where it gets interesting is that it's precisely this self made life trajectory that attracts a lot of mentors and guides towards these individuals as they progress in their chosen life path.

In my early childhood, i tried to obey both parents, all grandparents, teachers but was very disturbed by some of their wrong philosophies.

I have this placement conjunct Jupiter both at 11 degrees in pushya. I Was never really religious growing up, I just went along with it kinda rolling my eyes. but found vedic astrology 2 years ago and became an intentional practitioner of it. I Went to university post high school, became a chartered accountant and rose to financial manager quite early - im 34. but then quit and transformed my whole life, lost everything. I have Ketu in the 9th house, based on the systems use. My mother is always trying to make me into her, but the only reason why she’s is doing that, because she’s wants to take my work/ ideas and make it hers. Really love your videos I found them to be truly helpful.

@@lilbitscaesar3743 My ketu is in cancer so I think thats causing some obsessional relationship there but which is toxic, the best thing is to move out of home and go live your life fully separate from our mothers. and have a respectful but detached relationship, nothing more and just accept that.
@@Acumen928 so true, and we’ll said, I have it too in the 4th house and she is very toxic, I have 4 planets in my 4th house she won’t leave me alone. Very obsessive personality. I just stay quiet. Take all my work copies it for herself.
Good video, my daughter has this placement and she is doing architecture in college, she as a little kid has that inborn talent, she wasted one year thinking to go in the traditional path of medicine which most Indians do(we are in U.S) then she realized her true nature and doing this, the way she talks and see things are so mature as she saw so many life times before, what you said is completely true with her, thank you, God bless

I have Ketu in the 9th house of Aquarius. It's also conjunct with Jupiter and Venus. This is all too accurate. I get easily disappointed in figures I look up to when I surrender my power to them. Impossible to stay in the in-group, despite my desire to "fit in."
