Osu is nothing special. All star hype not supported by statistical production. All this talk about your safety when we got a 2 time condensus all american. Its comical hype. 3 pro WR cant be stopped yet you are #11 in scoring to ND's 6th.
@@rfplaw1OSU is ranked 1st in almost every defensive statistic you fckn clown. There’s a reason they are favored over ND by 10. You are getting t bagged and there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it. Ohio State has beaten you the last 6 times we’ve played you. We have the best offensive player in this game, and the best defensive player in this game. We have the much better coaching staff in this game. Our second string would start for you.
Notre dames schedule is no where near ohio states. That’s why notre dame has scored more points. Ohio State has played Oregon 2 times. Iowa, Nebraska, Penn st, Michigan, Tennessee, Indiana, Texas. Notre dame has played 3 good defenses. Penn st, Georgia and Indiana. Ohio state has played 7 or 8 good defenses.
Ranked teams is different than top defenses. Go look at the rankings for the teams mentioned. This isn’t a homer take but NDs defensive line won’t be a top 5 DL that they’ve faced this year. Your back seven is legit but games are won up front.
The only time ND DB's faced a real passing attack was USC. The gave up 360 in the air. Doesn't matter if they man up or play zone. OSU receivers are gonna eat.
Xavier watts is most definitely not better than Caleb Downs in coverage. Downs is a generational type of safety. He doesn’t really have a flaw in his game
@@irishbreakdown What does that have to do with my comment? I was only providing context for osu's offensive struggles in the latter part of the season since yall glossed over it
@@amyswenson1706 We didn't gloss over anything. We literally talked about how OSU had OL issues this year. But I see from your comments you ignore ND's injuries. It's ridiculous.
@carlosmayfield2519 nothing but we beaten Texas, Oregon, Penn St and Tenn, who I last check were all in the top 10. You're right, Anyone can take an L, but both teams will be ready.
I look at this like I looked at us when we played Miami in 2002. I hate that everyone is saying we will mop the floor with you guys. You can’t discount a really good fundamental team. Leonard reminds me of a Krenzel type qb. I think we have many more talented players than ND but sometimes that doesn’t defeat a team who has talent and won’t beat themselves. This should be a good game. I think it’ll be closer than the pundits are predicting. I still think we win but I won’t be surprised if ND sneaks this one out. It’s going to come down to the man coverage and Leonard being able to run the ball. I don’t think he will do anything against us passing unless it’s utilizing the rb out of the backfield. Long sustained drives will be key for ND.
@ hope you’re right 🤞. Ryan Day’s interview couldn’t have went any better. I always get nervous about the hype train. No better fuel for a team than when everyone outside of Indiana thinks they’ll get steamrolled. The spread is wild. However, if OSU comes out and makes ND play their game; it could very likely be a blowout. I can’t see ND scoring more than 20. Day sounded focused.
You summed it up for me, exactly. I don't like the cockiness going into this. Reminds me of tennessee a few weeks ago. I hope they're right, but notre dame has a good team. Most importantly, they've found a way to win in big games.
Anyone who says that not winning a National Championship means the season is a failure is confusing "failure" with "disappointment". Or they are just delusional.
Tennessee looked the way they did on defense bc of their scheme - man converge Of course they wanted to be there, but if you run man, OSU is going to move the ball. That’s why no one tan it against us this year except two teams.
Sorry, but you the Buckeyes are going to win big. Even Texas would have been a blowout if they didn’t have the penalties. If they clean that up, ND simply can’t keep up and the Buckeye defense will stifle ND.
Hate to break it to you but notre dame is gonna have a long day. This game has the potential to look just like the second playoff game against Oregon. If ND comes out and plays a lot of man it’s over
It’s not that I feel they are trying to convince me that OSU isn’t Goliath, it’s that they are trying to convince themselves.
