Hey Chris! So happy all you have to do is a tune up!! That's still a heck of a price!! I paid $975 for the first one. It is new old stock with the case, unopened 20 blade dispenser, instructions, and even price tag!! The 2nd one is the exact same but with the original shipper box as well! I paid $645 for that one, much better deal. The money wasn't an issue for me due to them being brand new, never used! I have waited years to find these in new condition. Well worth it in my opinion! I hope you get years of enjoyment from it! Once in awhile ebay will have a seller having just the case to offer. You just have to keep a look out. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful addition!! JimG P. S. I have 2 new old stock, gold Aristocrats, both in the original cases and unopened blade dispensers. One even has the $5 price tag! I also have in new old stock condition (never used!) a Gillette Executive Adjustable in case with blade dispenser. I also have both types in user condition as well. I have been very fortunate in my finds as well!

Good for you but I would not pay $900 for a razor.

@JimG7755 thanks Jim, even with a tune-up I'm still well under what I saved up to get it I was expecting to pay well over $500. I might look for a case, I thought about making one out of some Vermont black walnut I have and felt lining it. Very nice !

So psyched to see how a toggle model works---Never knew what the appeal and high cost was about! Hope you and yours survived the destructive rains this week!

@@rightsideupvt thanks, I've been good down here on the West Side Rutland County. I can't believe the devastation up in the Northeast. Once it comes back from a tune-up I'm going to do a shave off between the toggle and the executive .

I bought the Ben Franklin soap based solely on the tongue and cheek description on Stirling’s website. I liked it right away and bought another container including the after shave just in case they ever discontinued it.

Stirling makes great soaps. I enjoy Margaritas in the arctic, especially in this heat. Also really enjoy the Barbershop sent. Great Razor hope you get it fixed. Thanks.

@@carlangstrom3025 thanks for sharing the ones you have experience with, I've been leaning towards their sandalwood and vanilla , executive man. I might get a sample Margaritas in the Arctic. I plan on sending the toggle out to get tuned up next week.

Enjoyed the shave Chris. Those toggles are cool and unique razors. I too am worried about Fuzzy, and I really hope he hasn’t decided to stop doing videos.

I would not pay more than $100 for a razor whether it's new or used just get a cheap DE razor around $50 whether it's modern or vintage and clean it up real good and it'll shave you in the end. What in the world goes on through some of these people's minds other than the fact they like to collect them? $900 can buy me a lot of things useful like food, clothes and all kinds of stuff that's more important than a simple shaving ''TOOL''. That's all it is, a tool. But do you and what makes you happy but again that's just common sense, most people these days don't have any sorry to say.
