Why everyone speak about the main artists what about the violin and mridangam and ghatam? I'm saying that it is not wrong to talk about the main artists but we should also encourage the side artists of course, akkarai sisters vocal is excellent and violin was very soft and mridangam and ghatam were very supportive and I hope all will receive my comment positively

Due to old age I am not able to personally attend your concerts though I am still a listener.Akkarai Subbulakshmi was a tiny star when I could apprciate and invite for a concert at Shanmukhananda Sabha,Mumbai.so happy to notice their continuous progress in violin and vocal in world

Wonder why Akkarai sisters had presented naata kuranji varnam as the pada varanam version and NOT as taana varnam. There is so much meaning in the associated text that goes in the ettugada swarams to establish this varnam as pada varnam. Both or so knowledgeable artistes - both in vocal and violin - wonder why this type of rendition. Rendition of test part of ettuga swaram does not take more than 2 minutes, at the speed they have rendered the varnam. This is NOT to find fault - BUT just that I wonder why?
