Lol, who knew Stormworks would simulate people acting crazy during a fire so well??!! Nice boat btw, I'm almost done with my oil tanker as well.
Those green LNG carriers are the final boss of Stormworks. The ones I've run into are always in a storm in deep water. I've never been able to rescue all of the people. One of my goals is to build a craft capable of dealing with that much fire and rescuing everybody.
messing around in multiplayer is the only way ive been able to complete them. 1 on fire the other on rescue.
That engine room looks awesome, so much room to walk in and do maintenance work in there.

Loved the video @ProfNCognito! Can't wait for the next video man! If you look through @MrNJersey's Episode 77 of his Top 5 Weekly Series, there's a Fire and Rescue Ship called the Condor that, along with a Few Friends, would be perfect for this Type of Mission. Also, You wouldn't have to walk so far if you had a Jeep Willys MB or a Dodge WC-51 ¾-ton Truck to Drive around FJ Warner Drydocks in.

Someone on fire duty and someone on rescue duty.
Yeah the fire is so hard to manage on the big boats.
I am also building and oil tanker with the big modular engines and let me tell ya, I cannot figure out a way to keep them cool. Feels like I have tried everything. I eventually went to a hybrid design where the engines can power the boat and gen after the batteries for the electric motors run out.
Yeah I concerned these big ones especially will overheat.

Nice vid man! I´m struggling with oil tankers. For pumping oil to and for my vessel I need somthing else besides the pump, fluid ports and hoses?
Yes and hose ports
@@ProfNCognito yeah, ports, I write it, but something else? Maby dont need the pump for fill the tank

Poor VTOL. Is there any way to devise a detection mechanism for incoming waves and hook it up to your ascend function on the VTOL?
I wish. The only thing right now is the sirens and I turned them off because they are so annoying. I wish there was something we could put on vehicles.

But look on the bright side -- at least you had good, clear weather that really allowed you to admire the, ah, fiery scene before you. Ahem.
The one time I actually get good weather I crash. Seems legit.

Amphibious vtol, check. I'm definitely putting floats on it.
@@ProfNCognito that why whenever I make a vehicle I test it in creative to see if it floats the only exception is of it is a land vehicle like a car or a truck
I always do just didn't expect the vtol to hover backwards and get hit by a wave. Hard to test that out. Lol.
@@ProfNCognito also if I were you I would have used the hydrofoil ship you used in a previous series because it has enough seats and it's fast

Your giving the engine salt water instead of fresh water... Modular engines can't have salt water.
yes they can its not an issue. i cool all my boats this way. even real life boats cool this way.

Needs to be a medical bed. Regular ones only worked like that for a short while til they patched it.

they actually promised farming right before the industrial frontier update, but havent said anything since.

Fishing and farming would be awesome and some handheld tools for mining like a pickaxe would be nice ( although at that point it would just be a more modern and less blocky version of minecraft)
