In this episode I try and recreate one on histories falures, the Panjandrum, in an attempt to make it work with NEW technology.

You can increase the rotation of the Rotating Servos by taking the 'Angle' Slider and moving it to the right. Also if you turn the Strength down to Zero (0) they will spin freely. I think that might help in the future.

Might be worth putting some thrust pushing down towards the ground to keep the wheels on the ground and synced up.
Alternatively, have the rockets only trigger when at the top of the wheel.

The real one had a trailing arm, didnt help much but maybe could help prevent some trailmakers clunky junkyness

You should lower the strength of the spinning servos to zero and remove their inputs, having those powered and the rockets creates too much conflicting forces
Also the rotating servos can rotate fully, you need to set the angle to max

I may have an explanation...when one wheel lifts of the ground it spins and acts like a gyro and trys to stabilize in horizontal plane and push the other wheel into the ground and disabling it..try to keep the wheels on the ground and in sync.. also i dont think the artificial gyros will do much because the angular velocity and mass of the wheel is simply too much..

If you set the strength on any servo or hinge to zero, they become free spinning.
