I so enjoy your vlogs with glimpses of your studio, updates on new-to-you products and what you have been up to in your life. The only thing missing today was a nature walk.
I love your room and all the new treasures you found! Yes yes yes to an eco tank! My husband is always concerned when he he sees me printing in colour. I have to remind him that the eco tank is like magic. I can just keep on printing 😊 lol

Love your studio. You must be SO thrilled to work in there! Peroxide, vinegar and salt will rust those metal objects overnight. Easy peasy. Just TH-cam seach it... lots of us have done it.

Nik the Booksmith has a super simple rust technique (she got from another YT’er) using cinnamon. It’s really easy and no special or expensive materials required.

I do several pages a week like your new journal. I mostly use ripped paper and stickers. I also do one, two page spread a month with a bit of journaling on it as well. It makes me happy. To do something short and easy and delightful…. This makes me happy. You do great work for us.

Of course, your studio is incredibly tidy! I have a love affair with old boxes, too! Sometimes, I also have to buy them outright, and figure out what to use them for later! Can't pass them up! I have an antique book press, also. (Very useful for pressing flowers as well as pages!) Mine is made of iron and you turn a wheel that cranks it down. One of my favorite possessions! I guess when you love old books, you probably love most old things! Thank you for sharing your happy space with us!😊
I have seen one of those metal book presses at the flea market, but I had no way of taking that heavy thing home without a car…

Such great finds! I adore the wooden drawer. I have been scouring my local shops for a similar one. 😊 The shoe on the right is a horse shoe the one on the left is likely a mule shoe. Mules have a more squarish shaped hoof. Gorgeous results with the rusty elements! I will have to rummage through the box of horse shoes we have in the barn and try this. I know we have some darling pony shoes that would be leave a cute design on paper and fabrics. 😃 Love the updates. I am currently living vicariously until the day I can have a craft space of my own. I am so happy for you to have yours and am amazed at all the wonderful organization. One day .....☺Thank you for sharing! Blessings from Texas!

Hi Barbara. I remember my father having several of those leather lens cases. He's favourite hobby was photography and in those days they still used film that had to be developed. Brings back good memories 💕

What a lovely light clean & tidy craft room. Your craft items obviously don’t sneak in to watch what you’re doing like mine do lol. No matter how much space I start with, I end up working in a tiny space as all my craft supplies sneak in closer & closer around me. Such stickybeaks 😋

Oh, that's such a funny thought. My craft supplies also gather around me to watch what I'm doing. They also get upset if I don't use them, and multiply to get back at me.

Draft horses like Clydesdales and percherons have plate sized feet!…. For the powder maybe you need to seal the paper first?

I love your warm-up collage book. As a writer, I used Morning Pages as my warm-up to writing (when I was in a heavy writing period). I hardly loved or liked anything in my Morning Pages, but it helped free my brain to write "for real". You may not hardly ever love/like what ends up in the warm-up collage book, but you will more than likely love the outcomes of your other artwork (because you will be all warmed up and ready to create).

Wow, so much beautiful stuff and many useful tools. Once again I am so envious of the all old paper ephemera available to you all in Europe. We just don't have it here and if we do find some for sale it's prohibitively expensive. So yes, scans are appreciated. Oh but hey! Deli paper we've got! Whoopie!

Yes! scans of the old documents would be fabulous! I have hundreds of those old large negatives. I spent months scanning them all as they are family ancestors! Great vlog, I was just wondering a couple days ago when you would post another one! Thanks for your wonderful and inspirational videos.

I would love to buy all the papers you asked about us wanting to have scanned. I love your rusty pages. I so love your craft room. Your business card is beautiful. I was just thinking the other day that it's time we see your workspace again, so thank you for sharing! I love your journal cabinet display. I've not considered rust as a tool for projects (growing up hearing about tetanus I'd use gloves) but it surely does offer a new level of possibilities, so thank you for sharing that info. I've not visited your store in a few months and need to do that, so yes, plz consider putting the rust photocopies there as I think other would like it too. The studio looks amazing! I kept my Canon to print fabric and tissue paper. My epson doesn't like to print heavy cardstock either. I so need some more vintage drawers 😍

Wonderful video, I love your creative room space. I think you might like one of the Alex wide drawers from IKEA for your printer, plus you gain more storage space too. Not to hard to assemble. Again, such a beautiful room full of treasures.

I really like your vintage finds. I have a stick ruler like your yellow ruler on my desk. I keep it on its side and put paper bits into it that I want to display like cards and things.

So interesting! Definitely scan those beautiful bonds and railway items. Those large format negatives will provide wonderful prints of the photos on them. My hubby converts old negatives into prints all the time. The larger the negative, the better the print! Negatives that large come from box cameras. You could also pull prints from your movie reel - although they could be a little less detailed. Love it all!

Just for your information, your horse shoes are indeed for draft or work bred horse such as Belgian, Percheron, or Clydesdale horses. They have huge feet. I love your craftroom so much❤ Thank you for all your wonderful videos and sharing your wonderful talent and expertise with us.

Baby girl!! I have that measuring stick!! Well, not THAT one but one that operated the same way. It was my dad's and I remember playing with it when I was a child... It must be at least 70 years old. For a fleeting second I thought about cutting it up to use as well, but I don't think I could actually bring myself to do it. Wow! What a memory.
Your craft room is SSOOO inspiring but I'm not sure I could actually get anything done in there - so much to look at! ...and THAT VIEW! Not much greenery in the scenery where I'm at. 😂

Again a very interesting studio vlog Barbara. Your studio is also more cozy with those curtains, I think. Love the book press, great find and you have the perfect craftroom space for it. I also bought an Epson eco tank printer but a small one. Great things you found together with Peggy, love the wooden boxing the old papers and Peggy had a lot off wonderful items too. I would love scans of the bonds. I watch a lady reseller Paper and Moose that loves paper. She has a viewer from Germany that sends her bonds. To be able to touch the real thing must be amazing.🤗💕🦋

There is a wonderful product called Modern Masters. I create awesome rusty effects with it. You can also get the fun verdigris effects as well. Another very fun thing to do is mix Miracle Gro plant food powder with water, throw your copper pieces in, or metal it does a marvelous patina. I wish I was good at making videos because I would do an updated video on the process. I have a very old video that's not that great. Your room is looking awesome. I love it.❤❤

If your metal is zinc plated, it won’t rust. You need bare metal. Iron wire should work as long as it isn’t plated to prevent rust.

Ohhhh!!! Idea!! Have you ever thought of trying to do rust dyed paper with the liquid after the metal gets all rusty?? Also, I feel like I’m a kindred spirit now!! I have the same large guillotine paper trimmer!!!! ❤️❤️

Draft horses are huge and worked fields or hauled heavy equipment. They had big hooves.
