Parvez is truly a Parsi by heart. Parvez and I stayed in the same hostel near his hotel (decades apart). One night I walked to his restaurant for dinner, typical Parsi,did not accept my card. Gave him my address and he said he stayed at the same hostel. Allowed me to have a meal and declined my payment the next day, true true true hearted person. Parvez you rock.
My Dad was a Parsi Cook in Karachi and even worked for Gul Minuwalia me when I was young have eaten most of the Parsi deshes. Now I misses and In Karachi I don't find any Parsi restaurant. Love from Karachi Pakistan

Now we Miss parsi food as we it's been a very long time...
I was introduced to Parsi cuisine especially Mutton Dhansak at The WIAA Club (now known as The Malabar Hill Club) and i fell in love with it Tehmton and Shernaz Dumasia (Ripon Club) also make a fine Dhansak.
The Parsi community deserves recognition for strategically selecting prime corner locations for their businesses, with many of these properties being under their ownership. 👍
They also serve one of the best Chocolate Mousse at Ideal Corner. I remember on weekends one has to come early or else it’s sold out as they make it in limited quantity. The Saas Ni Macchi I have had a few years ago at Jimmy Boy was fantastic and so was their Non-Veg Club Sandwich. Don’t know if it is still served. Btw Ripon Club Dhanshak is on my bucket list.
There is one more well known Parsi restaurant cafe military near stock exchange.( I had veg dhanshak❤only available on Friday, Super time luch with friends )

Sorry Mr. Kunal but it's high time I stop watching & believing any of your comments on food. After watching yr show on different Dhansak in Mumbai, I thought of visiting Ideal Corner on a Sunday for lunch. I ordered chicken salli and to my horror it was one of the worst salli chicken I have ever tasted. The chicken was undercooked plus the gravy was as thin and watery + tasteless. Ordered mutton berry pulav which was ok but the dhansak dal watery thin and tasteless again. Try our wedding food for knowing what parsi food is all about because either Kunal is served something different and the other customers are served something different. I give Ideal Corner 1.5 out of 5 and suggest patrons to thrash it.

Dhansak rises to another level with green chillies slit, deseeded, filled with salt and deep fried till light brown and had with each bite. Heavenly.
