Love the show. Listening to Tim and Landon brings back a lot of fond memories of great soccer moments. Love the insights and perspectives on the variety of topics soccer and non-soccer related, which makes it way more interesting.
Inverted Wingers (Right footed on Left Side) vs Non Inverted (Right footed on Right side) …..discuss 😄 I think its time to switch back to Non Inverted again, at least for one side , especially if you have a big striker in the box. Great podcast! Really enjoying it! Thanks everyone.
Tim & Landon - Loving the podcast, love the format. You two are my favorite USMNT players of all time, and the reason I've been a loyal Evertonian for the past 12 years (thanks for that...). Question for Landon - I was lucky enough to attend an SD Loyal match in May of 2023 while visiting San Diego. I thought there was a great atmosphere built on growing fanbase for a local club. Why did the MLS giving a new franchise to SD immediately give cause to shut down the Loyal? Was the writing already on the wall? Were you pursuing that MLS spot? Curious if you can give us the unfiltered story on that. Much love to you both!
Question: What venue in the US as a USMNT player has been your favorite to play in? - Columbus (Dos a Cero) - LA - Denver - New York Question 2: If you were still an active player, what new stadium do you wish you could play in as a USMNT player? - Austin - LAFC - FC Cincinnati - etc.
First of all, there are just 3 items that's Man City needs to answer. Second if City win on those 3 it wipes everything else out. If City win, will they sue the Premier League?
This is going back to a few episodes ago, but: If y’all aren’t in favor of pro/rel, what does your ideal American soccer landscape look like in 50 years? If we aren’t aiming to build a pyramid, what are we trying to build? Are we done growing now, and we just need to make sure we build these 27 markets into the strongest they can be? Are we going to continue expanding only the top flight and further unbalance the schedule? Are we going to keep expanding only the top flight and split the league into separate conferences in order to balance the schedule? I’ve heard so many people say that pro/rel isn’t feasible, but they rarely ever give an alternative path that would be better
Remember when Clint was one goal away from being all time, stand alone, leading goal scorer for US? I’ll never forget that goal never came against TnT and we were eliminated from participating in 2018 WC. OK he was shafted 😂🤣🤣 Only 1 greatest he go by Lando or Landry Cakes 🥰😅
So move to a big 6 already or Bayern if Davies leaves to Madrid. Antinee deserves it. But what happenes when he hits a rough patch? Does he go back to the midyest of mid table clubs where there’s 0 pressure for your spot bc you know you’re gonna end up 8th to 18th in the table. Landon’s stoked CP didn’t get it lol. Unreal how much more pressure is on Chris and how he’s over delivered and lifted Milan when Leao and Theo were completely ghosting under fonseca.
Christian Pulisic got shafted big time. This is like Clint Dempsey getting shafted out of the award, which he should've won every year. Our fans & pundits & U.S. Soccer are HUGE PREMFACES. Pulisic has better stats for AC Milan, which is a bigger club and what he's doing is much harder to do. Stop being PremFaces, everyone. U.S. Soccer are like "Oh my God! Antonee Robinson has 7 assists for Fulham in the Premier League...in the Premier League!!"
Stop using phrases like "Big Club" for starters if you want to be taken seriously as a mature footballing nation😂 Your country's fanbase obsession with those clubs whose jersey is also a fashion item is utterly depressing.

For the mailbag! What is your favorite goal scored **against** you/your team? Maybe it hurt at the time but you objectively respect it now
