From the way he explains things, is a good demonstration of what some-figure-i-forgot-who saying : if you cannot explain it so that a 3 years old child can understand, that means you dont understand enough. Cheers to the FAQ show.

@@bobby5796 I wouldn't say I am a great investor, how do you define successful anyway. I only invest in passive and low cost diversified fund that tracks the economies. If success means gains over a long term, yes I am successful. Thanks for the wishes, I wish you happiness too

Love the deep insights of a fund manager and the complex processes which are told in a digestible way, especially the part where “large fund managers focus on basic, simple stocks but it requires discipline and withholding pressure from short term performance.” Really shows how much pple forget these factors.
How do fund managers choose their investment philosophy? Didnt expect philosophy to be a huge factor in fund managing

In Jalil's previous interview, he said he personally only invest in ETFs. Does that mean he doesn't trust any other mutual funds/fund managers out there? Or ETFs are better than other funds except the funds that he manages?
Would like to ask him this question. If y'all have another interview with him.

an ETF is an exchange traded fund. Think of it like a typical unit trust fund, but it is traded on the exchange. Usually an ETF tracks indices, commodities, or certain types of assets
