Oh my gosh, that is just PERFECT! I haven't seen an owl done before, that looks so good, I can't wait to try it out myself! And this is one of the rare animal designs that doesn't require a forge weld to make. Fantastic job!!!
Top notch forging and steel carving. This goes beyond artisan crafting and enters the realm of pure art. As an aside I firmly believe that if you offered a medieval smith his choice of only one modern power tool, any smith worth his salt would choose an angle grinder. A gas torch would be high on the list, but in the end the grinder would win.
Hey what's the tool called that you vise in, and use as a plate for punching upon? I tried making one but couldn't get it right I need a reference haha

It is not a chisel.
It is a steep angle sharp type tool for detailing work.
It is supposed to be used hot.
