Balena Etcher works, but you have to extract the image file first. Normally Balena extracts the image itself, but it doesn't work with the downloaded FydeOS file for some reason.
i have some concerns about FydeOS's security. Since it's not signed with Microsoft's Secure Boot or integrated with full SafetyNet support from Google (except for the Android subsystem), it raises questions about the trustworthiness of the system compared to alternatives like ChromeOS Flex. Additionally, data privacy policies and transparency about the handling of sensitive information would be appreciated
FydeOS is based in China, which may be a red flag. But for several years of using this OS, users have had no problems with security. It is to some extent safer than Windows because it is actually not vulnerable to viruses and malware, but in the end it is up to you. If you want something more secure, but without the ability to install android aps, then install Linux (because FydeOS is based on ChromiumOS)
What do you think about FydeOS?

I would like to ask the same.
What's the advantage of using Fyde OS?

The main advantage over Chrome OS Flex is the ability to install Android applications, and you can also activate Linux.
