About Dude Dad:
Hi! I'm Taylor Calmus, a Colorado-based actor/comedian. I started Dude Dad© two weeks before my son Theo was born as a way to stay creative while learning to be a father. My wife Heidi and I now have 3 kids and over 300+ videos. My purpose for the channel is to entertain, enlighten and inspire.
In addition to Dude Dad©, I have been in numerous TV shows, commercials, and have regular appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live. I will also be hosting my own TV show called "Super Dad" on the new Magnolia Network / Discovery+. Heidi and the kids will also be a part of the show. Dead on with the contractor! Every time I'm tempted to outsource, I get a quote that makes my jaw drop and I'm right back to doing it myself. On the plus side, I've easily saved many tens of thousands over the years and have learned a lot. On the downside, I'm in pain. Haha.

I can only think of one reason: His target audience are young parents and many 7of them just don't have the time to browse YT that much or they watch it from time to time but do not care about to create an account and like it

As someone who is currently doing major renovations to their home, with their spouse, this is 100% ACCURATE!!! The couples therapy is what got me!!!!
We built a house 20 years ago. One day hubby asked if I wanted to go out for dinner…our date ended with a trip to Home Depot. Trend started…EVERY TIME he suggested a dinner date, we ended up at HD. I finally suggested we cut out the middle man (dinner) and just go straight to HD. So much money saved on that project. Another time we put in a DIY patio with pavers and a retaining wall and two sets of steps. My foot was killing me the whole time. I waited until we were done before going to the doc. Had to wear a boot for 10 weeks to correct the fracture. We still DIY…and the “boot card” still gets played occasionally. 😉. LOVE your humor and videos!

This is LITERALLY us right now!! 😂😂 We are completing our basement and after 2 weeks, I’m like “we have to hire this done.” But of course every electrician, HVAC and plumber is 2-3 months out. Gotta love projects! 😂
My husband and I are in the same boat, but with a baby coming in 2 months.
That is also my life. And we started contacting people in February. So many contractors won't even call us back. And the things we need done require excavating and we are running out of summer. We tried to schedule it for May and we are still trying to find people.
@@jessicaroth7439 That is sooo frustrating!! Finding people that will actually show up when they say they will and doing the jobs they agreed to do is like pulling teeth. I will be praying they get your work done while it’s still warm. ✝️🙏❤️

In Russia we just have application where you say what you wanna do and you get master within day to complete your job rather installing bath or grooming dog. Like you get Uber but any service.
