I watched this video when you released it and just yesterday I did the hike myself. My plan was just to day hike to the lake and return. I was feeling good and decided to push further and made it to the point between the two peaks. Looking at the time, there just wasn't enough time to reasonably summit mt Webb so I returned to my car. Was an epic hike and I too plan to return one day. Once again, thanks for the inspiration.
Hey Mike! Just wanted to send out a positive message your way! I've been getting into peak bagging the past year or so. I gotta say, after browsing TH-cam for documentation or local trails or summits, you have stood out the most and I can confidentially say you have the highest quality around for these type of videos. You're doing a great job! I hope you dont discontinue because you have great potential.
Was going to say also people are obsessed with North van or squamish for hiking, but Chilliwack is great for the cascades, I think maybe the drive for some is discouraging? I hate going to North Van because of the traffic you hit sometimes. But hey not everybody needs to know. Haha
The video shows everything you need to know. The lake has water, there's a creek shown about half way up, and this time of year the snow patches are few and far between and you may have to walk a ways to find one. Best of luck and see you on the trails.
@@mountain_man_mike Thanks Mike, I went for it and what an amazing spot. The pass was definitely a give and take situation with all the heavy wind at night, as you warned !!! cheers.
@@mountain_man_mike Thanks! One more thing, did you ever try to reach Mt Lindeman? It would be a heck of a trip to cover all 3 peaks and for not much distance from Vancouver. I can't seem to find any GPX detailing anyone's attempt
No, I didn't. I think most people access Mount Lindeman from the south end of Chilliwack Lake FSR. You could probably go over or around MacDonald to get there, but there's a lot of cliffs etc on that route from what I could see. It may not be doable without more serious climbing gear. You would have to do more research. Stay safe out there and see you on the trails.

I'm glad you made it up there Ron. I always remember that trail being quite a long slog. Nice view up top though eh?
Thank you very much for sharing your experience and creating this beautiful video. :)
You're welcome 🙏
Great job Mike! I love Radium Lake and also the other surrounding peaks.

Hey Mike! Thanks for Amazing details of hike. Just wondering what is water accessibility around the pass area? Creek or snow 👍

9:03 oh man, looks like there's some tent space at the peak to sleep overnight and catch the sunrise the following morning
Yeah, there's lots of space for camping on the ridge and the peak. 🙂🌄🏕

I agree. Chilliwack is underrated, check out rexford
Hey Mike, do one need permission to fly drone from BC Park?
You can easily find everything you need to know about drones by typing that question into Google or any other search engine.
What month is this mountain man?
Looks like late summer
