After this video I wish I had bought my from you. I will be getting all of my accessories from you from now on. What a great little video right to the point. Thanks
I bought my Traditions Buck stalker last year. These are great rifles I took down my first deer with it at 88yrds a neck shot. Like what you said keep them Clean and they will always work great. (Good video).
Just bought the vortex strike fire with VAPR twist! Delivers tomorrow! Hunting elk in Washington state. Got plenty of ammo to test and got some whitehot pellets and 777 powder to test.
@@sgtpickles1319 very nice. I ordered 270 and 330 ELR’s, I also have 290 bore drivers, 305 scorpions and 300 berrys. But those I’m gonna basically use to get my sights on them testing the rest for accuracy. I put the Williams precision sight on it also. Looks amazing. Can’t wait for the season to start! Good luck, unusually archery hunt haven’t muzzloader hunted in about 8 years but VA dropped the ball on my shoulder surgery so gonna give this a go again.
There are so many variables that play into Muzzleloader performance- bullet, primer, powder, etc. The B.O.R Locks are great, and I would expect good performance out of a Pursuit XT. While I can't say how tight the group will be, a lot of people use, and prefer, the B.O.R. Locks.
I don't think cleaning the barrel after every shot is possible especially in a hunting situation. I have found my black powder is more consistent after first shot to dirty the barrel. I clean after 3---5 shots. My rifle is extremely accurate out to 150 yards. (T C Encore)
Are the strikerfire traditions rifles out of production? I see a lot of people with them with camo finishes that look great but can’t seem to find anything like them online
The Traditions Vortek StrikerFires are still in production. I will include a link to them for your convenience. www.muzzle-loaders.com/brands/traditions-muzzleloaders/traditions-vortek-strikerfire-vapr-muzzleloaders.html
Kind of scared to get a muzzle loader on your website. I really don't feel like paying $300 to $1,000 for it not to get here. Cause that would really upset me. I'll keep looking into your videos.

@@Thogerton YES, I am well aware of .50 caliber muzzleloaders * smh, and it is why I made my comment. YOU are lacking the ability to comprehend what I was saying as well as what the first commenter was saying. For someone of your low IQ I will explain my response to the original comment. The original commenter sounds as if he is confused or making a joke/being sarcastic about what is being talked about is a 50 caliber Barret round, which would IMO indeed be over kill for hunting deer. Do you understand now 'genius'??

I have a question I have the traditions pursuit XT with how good will the 50 caliber borlock projectiles perform in that gun

They mean running a patch between shots, then completely clean when needed or when done shooting.
But yeah when hunting id agree
