Zolile Sekeleni shuffled into the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court on Tuesday. Old and weathered, he looked a little bewildered by all the media attention. Just days before, Sekeleni would have passed for the concerned parent of a daughter accused of being an accomplice in one of the country’s most daring prison escapes. Now, he and a former prison warden face serious charges relating to the escape, including murder. It’s a story that began more than a year ago. At its centre, a convicted murderer and serial rapist and the lover accused of assisting his audacious escape from prison, Sekeleni’s daughter, Nandipha Magudumana. Now, Sekeleni’s fate appears intricately tied to that of his daughter, a once successful doctor turned alleged accomplice to Thabo Bester, the now-infamous Facebook Rapist. Their dash for freedom has lifted the lid on a violent, almost unbelievable tale of murder and arson which ended this week in their arrest in Tanzania. Carte Blanche goes behind the headlines of a story that’s shocked a nation.

      Easy:
      1. Accused conman, rapist and murderer got arrested and sentenced to 12yrs to prison.
      2. In said prison, he was occasionally let out to sex his girlfriend at a nearby hotel, by the head of the prison there. The head was in his pocket.
      3. His girlfriend, a doctor, stole cadavers from a mortuary, multiple times , at certain points dumping the bodies ina river, presumably because her plans weren't working.
      4. After she successfully got hold of a body, which was hidden in a TV stand, tye body was taken to the prison, the driver, being the head guard himself.
      5. The guard snuck him out of the prison, and after some minutes, they set the decoy body on fire in the cell the criminal was in.
      6. Before the prison could notify his next of kin that he killed himself, his girlfriend's father showed up immediately demanding for the body, which the prison officials refused since he was not on Thabo's registered next of kin list. His girlfriend also went to the prison to collect the body but was also refused.
      7. Time went by and people thought that he did actually die when in reality he was still living in S.A, at a hotel, sometimes at a mansion.
      8. Some, probably disgruntled corrupt police officers who were part of his cronies, broke the secret to the news/police , who (the police) then went and conducted a DNA test on the body and found out it wasn't Bester, something that they should have probably done in the first place.
      9. Police followed him to his hotel and other places where he was alleged to have been hiding, but he kept eluding them.
      10. Eventually he got caught on his way to Kenya and here we are.

I wonder why she allowed her registration to lapse. Why did she ignore those renewal notices? Seems like it was not a priority because trips to see TB were more important. Then on top of that she continued to practice without rego, another violation of the code of conduct/ethics. This obssession with wanting to be seen as wealthy will be the end of many people. Why should a person wake up everyday wanting to be validated by strangers? Why does looking successful matter so much, especially to people who don't even care about you? Why is fame that important. The world knew her, she was famous and basking in the glory of "being admired, looking better than most people, rubbing shoulders with the well known". It made her feel good, forgetting that she is a human being with flaws. Flaws are now exposed, so she is not even able to go through this dark phase of her life in private. She can't even protect her children because when she had the power to keep them away from the public eye, she paraded them like accessories on social media. To show the world that she has the best life, with the perfect kids and white picket fence. Now poor kids are everywhere on the internet, and this time not for a good story. Lessons are galore in this Nandipha & TB story.
