There may be times when a clash happens and it's better to wage only a little meter or none at all. A player may have 4 meter bars and you have 3. You could take a chance and wage 3 and hope the other player wages 3 or 2. Or you can not wage anything and take whatever damage you get but he will have less bars than you while you still have 3 bars left and are close to having a full meter to do a super. Clashes can only be used once per player per match.
the meter is used for super (full) , burn moves (1 or 2 bars ) and a clash wager ... when you enter clash you wage away your meter if the enemy wages more they win if you wage the same you tie and both lose meter etc

Pick the button to the most right so you have all of the 4 bars of power to out muscle your opponents

If you don't want to lose your super charge when it come to face to face don't press anything but the enemy will get some health back
It takes the Meater for you because that what helps you win you have to use a higher bar to beat the other person in that little battle thing
