I have meet jamie and Allison and there are the nicest people you could meet. They have inspired me and my band. After meeting them I making it my life misson to tour with these 2 gods. Thought was great profomenc love pots and pans my favorite kills song.
Fearless musicians. Great combo - the KIlls and Andy Gill of Gang of Four. Does Jamie even bother tuning his guitar? Don't care if he does or not, imo he's the most exciting and innovative electric rhythm guitar player there is at the moment.
They have put out an album about every three years. Which, to me, is better than just cranking out records every year that they threw together just to make a buck, like most bands do... those bands who do usually suck more and more with each album. The Kills just keep getting better and better because they perform because they HAVE to, because they LOVE it... Not just to make money.
Indeed. Jamie is on *_fire_*....especially on Pots & Pans. But, Alison does seem tired...or even a bit sad. Imo, much of the lyrics on Blood Pressures seem to relate to Alison and Jack White's failed fling. Who knows...maybe some real life drama was getting to her this day.
