Bertha Shannon Leonard you are the BEST!!! I'm from Greece I've bought halouronic pen 1 and a half month ago and I didn't open it cause I didn't know how I could use it!! I am here from 22:00 and it's 04:00 in the morning and I did my first treatment!!!!!! You are amazing!!!!!SSSOOOO SIMPLE AND SO GOOD PROFESSIONAL!!! I will do practice to some friends and I would let you know the results !! I have some questions !!! -First of all I'm a beautician and I use mesotherapies cocktails ,boosters jalupro 30mg hyaluronic/(200kDa) ,jalupro hmw 20mg hyaluronic and fillers jador 23mg!!!do you thing I can use it with hyaluronic pen? -the syringe of 0,5 ml and 0,3ml have the only difference to the ml or have they different diameter in front of the syringe from where the material comes out? Thank you sooooo muchhh🙏🏼🙏🏼😘😘
Hi. Thank you so much for your wonderful message. I am so glad that you got the courage to get started. I really love this treatment and I get excited when others get excited about it lol. Yes, to my knowledge you can use skin boosters, but maybe just check with Jalupro themselves (this brand is not known in SA, so I do not have personal experience with it). Our 0.5ml and 0.3ml ampules are identical except for the millilitres. I cant guarantee that all are like that, but the ones that I have used are. I use hyaluronic acid serums that are from 20mg to 24mg with great success.
Love you videos, they are so helpful! I do have a few questions. 1. What brand of ampoules would you recommend? I know that some ampoules result in more product waste. 2. What type of insurance should a hyapen tech have for themselves?
thanks for you videos on this technique! quick question - I am wanting to try the Hyaluron Pen for cheeks and have read online that it is safer to use than needles. is this because the injection with the Hyaluron Pen in superficial and not deep enough to block a blood vessel? I can't really find the answer anywhere I've just tried to figure it out myself but would appreciate your expert advice xx
Hi - thank you for commenting 😁. If someone trained & qualified in using injectables(needles) does it the risk is truly teeny tiny. If someone who is not qualified or trained in injectables is trying to weigh up the risks then yes, hyaluron pen is much safer! And yes you are 100% correct. The reason why it is safer is due to the depth of penetration. The way in which the hyaluronic acid is dispersed as well as the amount of pressure created by the pen leaves the product lying in very superficial layers of the skin. It cannot fill cheeks with lost volume but can still add some plump to the area. So yes, definitely safer if you are not trained & qualified to use injectables (needles) 💞
HI 🤗 thank you for commenting. The best answer to that question will be from the supplier where you bought it. Not all HA's are the same regarding storage instructions, best to check with your supplier. I woul personally store mine in a cool dark place (I do not normally store it in the fridge) and if I have opened it, then I make sure to use it within 2 weeks. Hope that helps
@@BerthashannonLeonard Hi, when you store it can that same client come back for a second appointment touch up then for it to be used? If so I'm curious of how you charge for it? The top offs, I love that by the way!!! Perfect way to remember. I'm not wanting to over price but also I know my worth and want that to be valued! As of now I will be doing as travel in home to start. Any advice is welcomed.
Hi Bertha - how high a viscosity can you use that will be compatible with a hylaron pen? There are some users that complain that they have product loss and think the filler is too thick for the pen and the product won’t go in. What are your thoughts on it?
Hi Gillian. I find that your technique requires some adjusting when you use a thick viscosity. I prefer to stick to a medium viscosity. Some brands have an 'implant' range. I dont enjoy using this with my pen. I do struggle a little and find the need to adjust my technique when using these 'thick' fillers. Which brand are you using?
Bertha shannon Leonard - I’m using hyafillia classic for now but switching to Neuramis deep then I will be trying Hyaluron Kween brand which is 22mg which claims to be the right viscosity for the pen. Which brands do you use?
Hi kerry, yes you can use Derm on lips, But please remember that if you lack experience then the thicker the serum, the bigger the risk for lumps and bumps and the better your technique should be to get proper penetration of product. ♥︎
Question! I am about to do my first procedure on my mom and still have a few questions! I have the Enzo filler which I believe is denser. How do I figure out my mapping? As in how many shots do I do on the top and how many on the bottom and where exactly do I do them? My training course only answered the bare minimum please help!
I also have another question regarding the math. Let's say I'm using 1 ml on a client. How much do I put in each ampule? Do I just keep going until Iv used 1ml? In that case, how do I evenly shoot the 1ml into each section of their lips? How much filler comes out of the pen when being injected?
@@isabella_doherty HI Isabella. I would need more info on the lips to give you the exact right answer, so Im going to assume she does not have very think lips/ very thin lips or very sensitive skin. Normaly I use 1ml of product in one session. 0.5ml on the top lip and 0.5ml on the bottom lip unless the client wants/ needs a bit more emphasis in her top lip, then I do 0.6ml in the top lip and 0.4ml in the bottom lip. If they want their lips 'wider' then work more towards the vermilion boarder. If they want more 'pouty lips' then work more in the body of the lip (NEVER IN THE WET AREA) If they simply want a bigger, fuller version of their lips, then do half, half. My shots are always 0.02ml each. (two turns/ two lines) so this means. if your ampule is a 0.5ml ampule, then you will get 25shots out of it. So for the top lip, use 25shots of 0.02ml and in the bottom also 25shots of 0.02ml per shot. That will = 1ml of HA serum. 25 shots on the top lip = 12 shots on the boarder (6 on each side, 6 left, 6 right) and 12 shots below the boarder, 6 on each side. I adjust the shots according to what the client needs... same applies to the bottom lip. If your training was a little insufficient then I strongly advise that you first watch ALL of my videos before doing her treatment. You can watch them all in one night, it isnt that much. But then you will see full treatments being done as well as mapping / measuring the ampule and serum ect. It will help you so so much. Go to my channel, click on video's and just let it autoplay until you have seen it all. Again, it is not that much, you really can watch it start to finish in one day.
Hi Gabby, unfortunately not. Your ampule needs to be disposed of after use due to the high risk of infection if reused. This means that your product will be discarded along with it. Rather only decant the amount needed. It is sad to waste product, but in this situation it is necessary to discard the left over HA serum. 👍
@@SwaggyGabby HI Gabby. Because bodily fluid makes contact with the head of the ampule (which is placed against the skin) and bacteria spread rapidly, which means that the product inside your ampule is exposed to the risk. Reusing the ampule is a big no, no and the same applies to the product inside the ampule unfortunately. Hope that helps.
3 times = 0.9ml. You are only filling until that mark, but once the striker is in, it pushes the serum to the top of the ampule and then your ampule has a full 0.3ml in.
Sorry for asking you for this but you wouldn't mind to type on a comment regarding the MLs in order for 1st 2nd and 3rd treatment for some reason my subtitles aren't giving me the right words. Thank you!!!!
Of course I will gladly do this for you. When using a fine filler with a low viscosity then you can use slightly more per treatment. I would normally use about 1ml - 1.8ml in one treatment. Mostly only 1.1ml is enough. I can use more, depending on the result I am trying to achieve, but really don’t often use more than 1ml. First follow up treatment I use about 0.8ml's depending on the desired end result. Second follow up about 0.6ml - 0.8ml. If I am using a thicker/ derm / high viscosity filler: I would use 1ml for first treatment. First follow up treatment, 0.5ml - 0.8ml Second follow up treatment 0.5ml is usually enough. Hope this is helpful to you. After a few months then I will do about 1ml again ♥︎
