Read Legend Born if you like young adult fantasy with a medieval twist. Then check out the City of Bones series and then Children of the blood and bone great book to read.
Hello Sarah, I don't have a specific book leap to mind to recommend, but I remembered that Goodreads might be a good place to find more books to read. 🤓 They always suggest other books in the same vein of the one you are reading that you might also enjoy at the bottom of each book description page. If you already have a Goodreads profile, please share the link! I'd love to follow you there too! 😊
Hi Sarah, If you liked reading those books. You'll defo love A Thorne of Glass novel by Sarah J Maas. Happy Reading, it'll definitely keep you reading for a while
I think it’d be nice to see you guy’s separate “self care” days. Like what does Sara do when she’s trying to take care of herself mentally and what does Kyuho do when he’s trying to take care of himself mentally? Maybe even make it an asmr type video where the viewer simply watches and relaxes with you. :)
It doesn't matter if you guys show vlogs about you just eating, or exercising, reading. I'll still watch. I always look forward to your videos every Sunday. Please be careful, here in the states the number was down. Then the new Delta strain hit then it started to rise. Hopefully, you'll get vaccinated soon as well as your parents. ❤️❤️
I’m sorry you are on lockdown again. South Korea seems to have a good handle on how to keep people safer. I live in Connecticut, USA. We are opened up fully, no masks. I am still wearing my mask because I have chronic illness and don’t produce antibodies so the efficacy of the vaccine in my body is not typical. I really hope you get vaccines soon. Until then I would love some more Korean recipes. Maybe some small demos on how to draw on the iPad.
Hello I just wanted to say I love watching the videos you guys post, it helps me see the beautiful things about Korea but I don't if I'll ever be able to visit. I read you are looking for things to do on raining days and I know you love Korean drama like myself. My very first one I watched was the promise is a melodrama but it keeps you hooked ( one thing though have tissues) anyways I hope you look it up and keep doing what you are doing ...a true fan
Just to mention, i really enjoy hearing a couple korean sentences in your videos because i am learning korean and it feels so rewarding to understand what is said :) and it helps me practice too so thanksss
Wanted to recommend Uprooted or Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik (her Temeraire series is great too, but a bit more adult than YA) - great characters and tight writing. Katherine Arden's Winternight trilogy was awesome too, really atmospheric (Russian-folklore inspired).
I loved the Six of crows duology so much! I'd definitely recommend you to check out V.E. Schwab's "Villains series"! It has that fantasy element, characters to die for but also the gory good stuff, just like Six of crows. They're so good! The third book is still in the making, though!
Love your videos guys. Thanks for the book recommendations, they are coming handy right now as we are in complete lockdown in Sydney Australia😔. Stay safe.
I had the exact same experience as you with the grishaverse, Sarah! I started with Six of Crows and then read everything else in the same order. The only books I’ve read that compare and transported me in the same way are the An Ember in the Ashes series by Sabaa Tahir!! I have to read the last book in the series so I’m very excited to get back into that world ☺️
Thanks for keeping us posted on your neighborhood cats. I love that and it’s good to hear about the “grandpa” that likes them too! SO sorry about the increase in infection rate where you live. Thanks for wanting ro find ways of offering content that your subscribers would enjoy
Your videos are such fun to watch, no matter what the content is. How about stretching your painting muscle. Whatever you choose will be fun. Please be careful and stay safe.
Stay safe and healthy!!!! Was just thinking.... might we see more of Kyuho's amazing kitchen while things are a bit unsettled (to say the least)? Nothing better than what Kyuho's cooking (well, except if I could get to taste it...that would be even better, but not possible).
0:46 the break must be super relaxing until Kyuho dozed off.. 😆, and love the vibes of your relaxing videos, awesome editing and music! Thank you and stay safe!
Sadly we're having another wave of COVID here in the Netherlands as well due to the delta variant, just as everything was opening up again. Hope you guys stay safe! My friend, who loves the grishaverse, had recommended me the 'A Court of Thorns and Roses', 'Fable' and "All the Stars and Teeth" series in addition to the grishaverse books. I haven't read any of them myself yet but I've enjoyed all her recommendations so far so I thought I'd mention them 😊
Oh no! :( It seems to be wrecking havoc in so many countries right now-hope you’re staying safe! And thank you so much for those recommendations! I keep seeing ‘A Court of Thorns and Roses’ pooping up everywhere, so I will definitely have to read that one first! 😄
Sarah I would recomend you "A court of thorns and roses" series by sarah j. Maas. I love the character development and world building. Regarding video suggestions... maybe you can make a japan story time video after Kyuho posts his KATUSA video
Your videos make me feel so warm and fuzzy and just good in general. You are both - sorry - you three are lovely to look at and delightful listen to. I enjoy your reviews of Netflix and other streaming services. Of course, I love the festivals and shopping fairs and will enjoy those when it’s safe. Until then, I will continue to love hanging with you. (I have been sequestered in a 30ft travel trailer in rural Georgia (USA) for 16 months) Keep it coming. 💋💋💋😺❤️❤️❤️ love you, Beemo!
If you really enjoyed the Grishaverse books, I’d recommend the Bone Season by Samantha Shannon, the Cruel Prince by Holly Black, or Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor!
What a great video as usual! I get so bored by a lot of youtubers lately but honestly don't by you two even when you're just in your apartment lol. But omg you read the Grishaverse, Sarah!! I need to finish the Shadow & Bone books but I did NOT know there were more? Now I'm excited about something again finally!
I live in Ontario and just got my second dose last week. I don’t even live near the GTA. No side effects either. Korea seems much more convenient and modern, it’s a surprise to me that they are worse off in some ways.
Actually guys I love this type of videos, they are so relaxing 💕 and I love Sarah's reading recommendations. Stay safe and thank you for such nice content
Your rainy day videos give an immense feeling of hygge, it's so relaxing and just nice to watch. I love the rainy day videos as much as the ones where you guys are out and about doing a lot of activities :)
Okay, I haven’t actually read the shadow and bone series, so this recommendation might be totally off, but at least from my general understanding....The darker shade of magic series by V. E. Schwab
I totally understand about being safe/staying in! We’ve reached a 10.000+ cases a day again this week in the Netherlands with my (student) city being the hotbed because of partying/festivals. Everything had to close again and several of my friends have gotten ill. This all took place in just two weeks, we went from barely any cases to this 😩 It can spiral crazy fast. On a positive note, I’ve seen Ember in the Ashes and the Winternight Trilogy recommended - I second that! Another series you might enjoy are the Witchlands series by Susan Dennard. The magic system and characters are really great and the fourth book has just come out. Stay safe!🥰
Thanks for the wholesome video as usual😚You guys should get more sponsorships and I won’t skip it! also I really look forward to seeing you both flying to Canada sometime soon. Hang in there!
I haven’t read the violinist of Auschwitz, but I have read the tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris and it was very good!! I am about to start reading Cilkas Journey by Heather Morris as well. Cilkas journey goes into more detail on a different character from the tattooist of Auschwitz and have seen good reviews!
Hi from Canada! 🇨🇦 Sarah, if you are looking for another fun fantasy series, I highly recommend The Infernal Devices (TID) series!! Lots of loveable characters, witty dialogue, romance and adventure set in Victorian London - there are 3 books in the series (Clockwork Angel, Clockwork Prince, Clockwork Princess), and then once you finish TID, there is a fantastic sequel series called The Last Hours (TLH) that focuses on the children of the characters from TID (just don't go researching The Last Hours yet since it will have spoilers as to what happened in The Infernal Devices!). I hope you consider checking them out! 😊📚 Happy reading
I'm sorry to hear the COVID situation there is worse. Please take care of each other and stay safe - that is job number one! We see Beemo regularly, but what if you did "A Day in the Life of Beemo" video, or one that was from Beemo's "purrspective"? Also, Sarah got the new iPad recently...if it is okay, it would be fun to see how you are using it for drawing, etc. Sending you lots of good wishes from California.
I loved the Grishaverse too! I would recommend An Ember in the Ashes series by Sabaa Tahir or the Arc of the Scythe series by Neal Shusterman. They are some of my favorites. Loved the video as always. Thank you! Stay safe!!
Don’t worry! We are just happy enough seeing you guys...I really like you guys cooking (will you do more Kyuho Ugly Kitchen?) or just a simple walk in the park....
Sarah if you love the Grishaverse you’ve gotta try A Court of Thorns and Roses (ACOTAR), or Throne of Glass! Two great fantasy novels by Sarah J Maas. ACOTAR is more romance heavy and is more adult than YA, it is currently being developed into a TV show on Hulu by the same developer who made Outlander. Throne of Glass still has romance but focuses more on action, world-building and has multiple character perspectives that you may prefer since you like the Grishaverse. Edit: ACOTAR is still ongoing (5 books out) but Throne of Glass is a completed series (7 books plus 1 prequel book) if that matters.
@@2hearts1seoul a word of warning though, I feel like they aren't really comparable. The Sarah J Maas books have terrible writing compared to Leigh Bardugo, especially the Crows Duology she later wrote is much better. Sarah J Maas, it's hard for me to describe her style. I've read the ACOTAR books, but mainly because I wanted to know how the story ends for certain characters. The writing itself is pretty meh at certain points and - trying not to spoiler here, but - there's like a major change between book 1 and 2. For some people that made the story better, others hated it. The SJM books are really divisive, most people either hate or love them, I give it a resounding "meh" and I wish I hadn't been influenced by all the positive reviews to buy the box, I think I could have done with a library edition (and I did read an excerpt first, usually my instincts don't fail me with that approach, but oh, the writing style of SJM...)
If you guys are still looking for video ideas, I'd love a 'day in the life' just sort of what a typical day looks like for you guys ecen if you think it's boring (I guarantee you we won't think so!), 'what I eat in a day'. Craft videos. Book videos. Show/movie review videos. I really just love everything you guys put out. Keep up the great work and stay safe!!
Stay safe! Compared to Korea there are a lot of cases here, however restrictions are not that severe now, which worries me. Anyway take care and thank you for making my Sundays better 🤗
THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS CHILL VIDEO♥️ I love the vibe of video during this '장마' season!! But can I ask you guys a little favor? I'm a student who's trying to learn English through your video, and Eng sub would be very helpful for my study! Love ya❤️
content suggestion: maybe rewatching some old videos or your past travel videos and reacting to them + giving some backend stories? seems like a trip down memory lane might be fun, and hearing random TMI is always interesting!
I love Sarah's book corner! The only books I read are the ones my youngest nephew are reading (school related). I would love to see that and recipe videos as well!
stay safe. here after almost 2 months lock down we are open again. but just yesterday we got 6 infected people but not local. ( we are an island). pls be safe.
Dear Sarah, I haven't read any books from the Grishavese yet (had to google it first 😅), but I can highly highly recommend the Peter Grant Series by Ben Aaronovitch (Rivers of London is the first book). It is a urban Fantasy/Detective novel series which takes place in modern-day London. My favorite books, right after (of course😉) Harry Potter. Loved this cosy vlog. 💜🙏 Stay healthy.
If I may give you a good book recommendation because I've seen that you've been reading books in that genre Sarah, they're the books within the "A court of thorns and roses" series by Sara j. Maas which has been and still is my most favourite and beloved series. Maybe you'll find as much joy in them as I did and do☺️
My recommendation for books is Bone season series by Samantha Shannon. I am extremly picky when it goes for fantasy books and this one hits my right away. And since you read books about holocaust eagerly well it may interest you immensly.
Just came off the Grisha Verse. I dove into From Blood and Ash series (5/5), and now I’m reading A Court of Thorns and Roses and it’s pretty good so far!
Stay safe!! Chill and relax in rainy season! Sarah, I recommend you to read the Montague siblings trilogy (The gentleman's guide to vice and virtue, the lady's guide to petticoats and piracy, and the nobleman's guide to scandal and shipwrecks). It is a trilogy with adventures and with some travelling as well. You get to know places in Europe and maybe it's a way to know some places without travelling, now that it is quite dangerous.
A court of thorns and roses series !!! The second book in that series is my fav!! Or the author has another book series that is focused more on action called Throne of Glass
omg that butterfly with the kitty 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 sucks that cases went up in your area. I guess we all have to learn to coexist with this going back and forth between levels of restrictions for a very long time. this bug is here to stay. take care and stay safe!
Of course that butterfly would be drawn to Curly 😂 He’s such a sweetie~ And yeah, it reallyyy sucks :( Would suck a little less if more of the population here were vaccinated 😩
thank you Sara for the book recommendations!! :) Maybe you want to try 'Mistborn' trilogy or 'Moon is a harsh Mistress' or the 'Broken Earth' trilogy. I hear they are quite good. Stay safe guys!!
I haven't read the specific books you mentioned, but since you love adventure/fantasy books and are a huge Harry Potter fan, I definitely recommend the Night Circus and Caraval!!
I recommend the sorcerer's ring series by Morgan rice. It's an awesome fantasy and very fun to read. The first few books I read online. The rest I read on a website called Scribd on their free trial month or something.
You should read A Deadly Education by Naomi Novik. Like Six of Crows, I blew through that book SO fast it was such a cool world and an addicting read. The second book in the series comes out this fall!
A Darker Shade of Magic series is a great follow up for someone who loved the Grishaverse books. Or really, anything VE Schwab/Victoria Schwab has written. She and Leigh Bardugo have a similar reading experience in my opinion. Also, I LOVED The Nigh Circus, so I highly recommend it!
I would recommend The Winternight series by Katherine Arden. The first one is The Bear and the Nightingale, also the Shades of Magic by V.E. Schwab and the Poppy War trilogy by R.F Kuang I hope you guys stay safe and cases go down soon :)
If you want an epic fantasy type setting with magic at its core, then I suggest The Wheel of Time series. It took me years to finish all 14 books, but they were well worth it!
we went into lockdown with a stay at home order here in sydney a couple of weeks ago. they've had to tighten restrictions again this week and extend for another week. but everything points to it being extended at least the rest of the month if not longer. even though i'm naturally a homebody, i'm seriously over it. but i understand why we have to do it
You guys are seriously pulling through with all these book recommendations-thank youuu, writing these down! 🙌♥️
Read Legend Born if you like young adult fantasy with a medieval twist. Then check out the City of Bones series and then Children of the blood and bone great book to read.

I just picked up the Shadow and Bone trilogy because of you! I enjoyed The Keeper of the Lost Cities series and The Dragonriders of Pern series.
2:40 totally understand 😅 i was planning to not go out because it should rain but then sun came and now still not really rainy 😬🤭
No matter what you guys do, I always support you. Stay safe and strong even if it is a volatile pandemic situation.
Fave Sunday nightcap! Thanks for this, Sarah and Kyuho! Hi, Beaming Beemo!
Awww, thanks so much for tuning in! 😊
I love watching studio ghibli movies during raining season 🌧🍵
Love your videos guys. Thanks for the book recommendations, they are coming handy right now as we are in complete lockdown in Sydney Australia😔.

So great to see you guys and Beemo again. Please stay safe and healthy. Thank you for taking such good care of the outside kitties.
Thanks for keeping us posted on your neighborhood cats. I love that and it’s good to hear about the “grandpa” that likes them too! SO sorry about the increase in infection rate where you live. Thanks for wanting ro find ways of offering content that your subscribers would enjoy
Oooo! Thanks for the book recommendations.Always looking for something i can really get into.❤
Good to see Beemo and the outside cats are doing well!😻
Your videos are such fun to watch, no matter what the content is.
Thank you so much! We enjoy making relaxing vibe videos ☺️ And Kyuho really came through with the music for this one 💪
Sadly we're having another wave of COVID here in the Netherlands as well due to the delta variant, just as everything was opening up again. Hope you guys stay safe! I agree! "A Court of Thorns and Roses" is AMAZING! This was going to be my recommendation!!
This monsoon season vlog is great but your fridge vid is good enough for us this week. That was really interesting and quite fun.
It was definitely a busy week of editing, that’s for sure!
Book recommendation: Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archives series. SUPER ADDICTIVE fantasy 😍🍃
I love your cats 😍 you guys live in my dream life I am so glad that I found your channel!
I love your rainy, cozy home vlogs so much! Thanks for sharing with us! Hope you guys stay safe and healthy in Korea.
Love the cozy rainy vibe vdiseos. Especially when you guys go for a walk in the rain!
I love to read...Thanks for sharing . Be safe guys ❤

How about art jamming at home? Watercolour, acrylic paint, clay, etc.
Board game reviews would be nice on the rainy season!
I would recommend the Inheritance Cycle (it has 4 books) by Christopher Paolini. 😊
Soo good.
I live in Ontario and just got my second dose last week. I don’t even live near the GTA. No side effects either. Korea seems much more convenient and modern, it’s a surprise to me that they are worse off in some ways.
I'll watch whatever you post/vlog. Stay safe guys xx
Actually guys I love this type of videos, they are so relaxing 💕 and I love Sarah's reading recommendations. Stay safe and thank you for such nice content

i sure hope you guys get this under control, dont let it stop you on making those amazing videos for all of us. stay healthy and safe
Okay, I haven’t actually read the shadow and bone series, so this recommendation might be totally off, but at least from my general understanding....The darker shade of magic series by V. E. Schwab
Her book The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue is also SO good!
Sarah I’ve been craving blueberries lately… to give you some baking ideas!!

Can you talk about pet culture in South Korea? Like, the cost of having a cat, availability of toys and food, how people feel about dogs and cats?
This would be so interesting, and helpful.
People tend to overlook the practicalities, like the cost of pet healthcare etc too.
content suggestion: maybe rewatching some old videos or your past travel videos and reacting to them + giving some backend stories? seems like a trip down memory lane might be fun, and hearing random TMI is always interesting!
날씨가 더운건 참겠는데 습한날씨에는 장사없더라구요.
여름에는 물을 많이 마시는게 참 도움 되더라구요.
코로나가 다시 기승을 부리는데 두분도 조심하세요.
영상 잘봤습니다.
If I may give you a good book recommendation because I've seen that you've been reading books in that genre Sarah, they're the books within the "A court of thorns and roses" series by Sara j. Maas which has been and still is my most favourite and beloved series. Maybe you'll find as much joy in them as I did and do☺️
Oh my goodness has this one popped up a lot! I’ll really have to give it a go-thank you for the recommendation ☺️
Stay safe!!!
love this chilled video! stay safe as always🥰
Have you ever read any Terry Pratchet?! There is a WHOLE world all conected on tons of books! Discworld! Highly recommended x
Oh, I second that suggestion. Discworld books are great.
So over the panda. Hope you guys stay mentally healthy along with everyone else there❤️❤️
A court of thorns and roses series !!! The second book in that series is my fav!!
Or the author has another book series that is focused more on action called Throne of Glass
Your health is more important stay safe, videos like this one I really enjoy! ❤️💕.
omg that butterfly with the kitty 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
sucks that cases went up in your area. I guess we all have to learn to coexist with this going back and forth between levels of restrictions for a very long time. this bug is here to stay. take care and stay safe!
Of course that butterfly would be drawn to Curly 😂 He’s such a sweetie~
And yeah, it reallyyy sucks :( Would suck a little less if more of the population here were vaccinated 😩
Stay safe guys!
thank you Sara for the book recommendations!! :) Maybe you want to try 'Mistborn' trilogy or 'Moon is a harsh Mistress' or the 'Broken Earth' trilogy. I hear they are quite good. Stay safe guys!!
Ohhh! I’ll look those up :) Thanks so much, and stay safe!
I haven't read the specific books you mentioned, but since you love adventure/fantasy books and are a huge Harry Potter fan, I definitely recommend the Night Circus and Caraval!!
love you guys take care
I recommend the sorcerer's ring series by Morgan rice. It's an awesome fantasy and very fun to read. The first few books I read online. The rest I read on a website called Scribd on their free trial month or something.
Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas! It's so so so good.
Take care guys!
Thank you! You too!
I would recommend The Winternight series by Katherine Arden. The first one is The Bear and the Nightingale, also the Shades of Magic by V.E. Schwab and the Poppy War trilogy by R.F Kuang
I hope you guys stay safe and cases go down soon :)
