One of the best saxophone solos ever and you want it to continue ? You nailed it young man . Can you imagine how it felt when ai first heard it in 1975 ? Even got to see it live ! Yes I was blessed !

No, but a good one. As a rock fan, you are exposed to maybe 10% of the sax tunes out there. Maybe Sonny Rollins on Waiting on a Friend or Ravenscroft on Baker Street and so many others ... then we drift into the major leagues for Saxophone...jazz. until you've listened to Sonny Rollins, John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Wayne Shorter, and a number of others ... you don't have a baseline. Still I like Clarence here.

Jungleland is amazing, every member of E Street Band shines, of course the greatest sax solo ever! Then add Bruce's voice, story telling and poetry! Magnificent!

This sounds incredible. I saw him in a wooden chapel a half year before Bruce sang this. I was reminded years later that I left the concert saying, "I've never heard music in 4D before".

Amazing song.. and all the performances from that particular concert.. are just amazing. it's like going back in time to capture Bruce and the E Street Band at that point in time .

I've seen Jungleland performed live many times but it was already a fan favorite by the first time I saw it in 1984. I can only imagine what it must've been like when it was a new song as it was here. That sax solo is epic . We all love and miss the Big Man

This has been my favorite Bruce song for years. I just saw him last month in KC and Tulsa...amazing at any age...more amazing at 73. I did not get to hear this song...I'm sure I would have lost it!! He is touring now thru December...find a show!

Know what’ll blow your mind? He just did Jungleland for the first time on his 2023 tour the other night in NYC. He still sounds amazing!!! There is a video of it, recommend everyone to check it out.

Incident on 57th Street, similar to Jungleland, is another masterpiece by BS. His West Side Story. The opening lyrics:
“Spanish Johnny drove in from the underworld last night. With bruised arms & broken rhythm”
    (bruised arms: heroin addict)
On the album, the piano solo at the end of the song segues directly into the guitar opening of the following song, "Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)."

The sad thing about that song is he is talking about 1974, and nearly 50 years later, he is also talking about now. But the now is more violent and brutal than it ever was in 1974.

Such a beautiful song, always gives me chills. By the way, I believe a saxophone should be required in every rock band. I’ve never heard a bad sax solo in the professional sphere.

On any given day, depending on my mood, i probably have 4, or 5 Bruce songs, that i consider my "favorite". (Yeah, i know that's not how favorites work lol) Today "Jungleland" takes the crown! 😅

This was just before he went mainstream…..you can tell by their fashion or lack of….Bruce was changing gears from the jazz oriented after some of the East Street players changed……most Bruce fans didn’t know he existed before the Born To Run album……that’s sad to say they missed a very rare Bruce…..

Ahh..the real Bruce Juice movement. "Kitty's Back" from this show is like an instrumental orgy. And "She's the One" rips the GOAT!!!
