@2:20 under the "i" in Kawasaki there is a spot with no screw, mine has that too, does anyone know why there is no screw there?I thought it was missing.
I use a sponges to soak up all the water is the engine area, that I prop the seat up to allow air in until everything is dry. I've found that if you put the seat on tight with water in the hull area everything get covered in black mold.
@@JetSkiCamping Thank you for the review of Fluid Film, and the reference to our store. Pleased you are satisfied with the product. We have had some of your viewers become customers. Great Video.
Fluid film advise that it’s safe to use on rubber. It does have a strong smell and because it’s relatively thick and sticky (long lasting) it can be messy.
@@JetSkiCamping i will give it a shot, I have 4 cans of it and 2 skis, I have just read that rubber products may swell. Another question for you, does the dish soap work as well as salt off or salt away for flushing the motor and engine bay?

Not something you should have to do regularly but if saltwater has got into your hull it can be a useful technique to rinse the engine mounts as they are hard to reach.
Not sure about there but in Victoria, It is illegal to drive with bungs out, it is one of those rules that no ones knows until you get a copper that is having a bad day.
Appreciate any video that attempts to provide helpful tips, but it’s Never a good idea to spray water or to fill your engine compartment with water.. also no need to ever spray the inside compartments of an aluminum trailer.
Loves this video. I like these types of DIY
I use my gas blower to get the water off the foot wells and under the seat. I also blow into the nozzle. Gets everything out of the propulsion

Hi Christian, well spotted! All the photo's in the Kawasaki manual show it empty with no bolt/screw. I'll ask my mechanic what it is used for.
One thing a lot of people don't do is they don't leave their seats open ..you MUST do this
Can you elaborate a little I just got my first PWC
@@SME5724 put the seat on immediately after a clean and put cover on to protect rust keep the air away from ski 😁

Thanks Miguel. Glad you enjoyed it.
Def for more saltwater, I do exclusively fresh so my job is way way easier lol.
Absolutely !!
Fresh water riding Better for Jetski , but it’s def more fun to ride in the ocean than in fresh water.
Do you have any issues with the fluid film on the rubber components in the engine bay?

I usually just use fresh water as per the user manual.
Pressure washer makes its easier aswell dont usually need soap as the pressure blows away most of the salt particals
Thanks Matt. I’ll give it a try!
I always just stop at the car wash and it's dry by the time i get home.
I only ride fresh water so I don't clean the engine area that often.
Thank you mate..
You're welcome. Thanks for the comment. Much appreciated!

A good tip is using a suckomatic to clean the footwells
Is it good to fill the hull completely with watr

Jet Ski Camping ah ok good to know thx for the quick awnser
Really dont think you should fill the hull with water..
You should use salt away when washing the motor
Really works? How long should i leave the engine running, when flush the engine for yamaha?
i get in there with a wet and dry vac.

Wow I didn't know that, thanks! Any idea why it's illegal? Do they not want water on the road or is it considered a distraction to other drivers??
Interesting, in idaho its either illegal or highly frowned upon to drive with them in!
Shit! They just need to make better seals on jet skis

Page 99 of the Kawasaki user manual.... “When the watercraft has been used at sea, rinse the engine compartment with fresh water”.
He has a galvanized steel trailer, looks nothing like an aluminium trailer...
