I'm not an expert or anything, but I seriously doubt it would've just suddenly stopped. It's much more likely that there was a very gradual decline in the amount of rainfall, until it finally evened out to more "normal" levels.

It's been raining in northern NSW, Australia, for about eight months with maybe two days break once a fortnite Nothing can dry, mud everywhere, and we got hit by two floods in one month! It's not two million years, but it sure feels like it! Lol!

For everyone that did not get it. It did not literally rain for 2 million years straight. The climate acted like that of a tropical humid climate. Like you would see in the tropical rain forests. A lot of rain! But not always.

I remember when suddenly i got a lot of likes on one comment, and then youtube started putting all my comments at the top of every comment section, i would get hundred or even thousands of likes for every post, even when i posted something of little value. And then i posted something on a Today I Found Out video about how the Japanese soldiers also fought bravely, and that war was hell and we should never do it again. I got a swarm of angry comments, and presumably dislikes, and then my posts never made it to the top again, even when i had something interesting to say.

I live in a tropical country. it was raining at least once almost everyday for the past 2 years. Its been raining significantly less now because the monsoon season is finally over but still, I dont like the rain anymore :(
