I’m mostly a Husqvarna guy but I do own a couple of Stihls with a 044 being one of them. It’s a great saw that’s given the 372xp a run for it’s money 👍
Thanks for the video, I picked up a 066 magnum at a auction. I've heard great things about this saw. It does run but I'm gonna go through it completely. I'm considering removing the decompression valve, what is your opinion on that. Thanks. Also could you show the tools you use to check for any and all leaks.
Hey I've been meaning to ask you if you had any videos on how to bore the fixed head cylinders for oversized pistons? Over the years I have accumulated about 20 vintage 80cc, 87cc, 99cc and 125cc McCulloch saws and vintage kart engines. Several of these engines need to be bored to extend their usefulness and although I have experience boring conventional removable head motorcycle cylinders, I was wondering if you had a suggestion on where to learn the steps of boring these old McCullouch larger cc saws. Thanks for your time.
What does a typical port job cost? I have a Shindaiwa 757w that likely needs a coil, it just doesn't reach full rpm recently. Was considering a new saw but ran across your TH-cam channel and saw the video of you porting a 757.
Hey bud!!! Been quite a while.... question for you how do I put a 24-in bar on my Husqvarna 550 xp? Everywhere I go everybody says the max chain allowed on that saw is thee 20 inch bar. Can you tell me what I have to switch out in order to get a 24 inch bar on there? I know it's possible I think it's more or less the dealer does not want to go through the hassle of explaining the details which is sad because it's more money in his pocket
