- Warblers are gems of the bird world, and during a two day span in May (May 18 and 19) I went to see which ones I could find. The first day took me along a peaceful creek and the second day took me to look for a rare Connecticut Warbler.

Fantastic days of birding ❤
A Connecticut Warbler would be a lifer for me, so jealous.
Big Congrats Derek on the amazing 22 warblers you captured. The Canada Warbler was truly beautiful as was so many of those migrating warblers. Fantastic video as always 😊
Thanks!
Man - wish we had more consistent warblers here in NC. Though did grab a Louisiana Waterthrush today (lifer!).
Love that Robin. Baths are SERIOUS BUSINESS, hehe!
You mentioned colder weather and I'm a touch jealous. Even in May it was so, SO hot here. No longer the American South, it's the American Sous Vide! Being cooked AND too much humidity.
But the Catbirds are pretty happy and I think the Cardinals have juveniles, so the heat's not bothering them one bit!
Awesome trip ! :) That Canada Warbler is a super cool bird ! And the Black Throated Blue... I cry every time I think of this bird, as we had one here ion the West coast last Fall, and I never got myself over to see it :( Great video. TY :)
You’re welcome! Hope you get your BTBW soon!
that veery tho, I want to see one so badly next spring its my target bird idc about connecticuts anymore. thanks for the upload guys really good total!
Goodness; so many warblers! Sadly I’ve only seen the orange-crowned and yellow-rumped, hoping to see more soon. Keep up the great finds!
Will do!
Warblers!!!
Awesome video ❤
Beautiful birds
This spot was AMAZING this year. I found 4 Wilson's in their little hats without even trying.
Lots of gorgeous footage! That Canada warbler is so beautiful.
I have not seem a Black-throated Blue. Are they more common along the Lake Michigan shore than further west?
Wow are birds migrating already? I’m trying to pay attention so I can see some different birds in the varied habitats in my area of SW Wisconsin..
Recorded in May. Sometimes it takes a little while to edit and release stuff, but we try to put the date in the description
0:00 Words rarely uttered by a west coast birder 💀
What was the date of this fieldtrip; thanks.
