The grips are plastic because that was the upgrade in 1924. The WWII models all had plastic grips.

Also real wood grips fit you just have to file it down a tiny bit to compensate for the bulge of the co2 can Also a cheap wood pair is like 10 bucks

I really need a M1911A1, but dude are you from the US? If so, you could just own the real thing lol. To me, airsoft and all CO2 blowback pistols are more catered towards people living outside the US such as the UK and Canada for example. We can’t own real handguns in my country so this is for us.

Nah at all I’m in the us some states have strict gun laws. Plus people like to go outside too plink and not scare the Neighbors, and now ammo is expensive so people like to practice dry firing q

He could but that’s not what he is trying to do. Like with real guns you can’t go outside with friends and start shooting each other, with Airsoft you can do that and create games out if it.
