Asia Schuler I agree. I also fear narrowing to top 5 will lead to inevitable exclusion of drug store. Products with research and ingredients behind them that warrant a £50 price tag will often compare favourably to the products I can afford. I like to know the good the bad and the meh and I’d like to know about drug store releases.

I did like this video, but I think that I personally preferred the old way. Because beauty products are very subjective, I like to see a round up of everything that has come out, as I might like the look of something that you don’t. I love hearing what your favourites are, but I watch your monthly favourite videos for that. I also like that you are very honest in your usual ‘new in’ videos about the products you don’t think are that great. I find that really interesting and super helpful. If you only talk about the ones you love, then I will miss that aspect. I love whatever you do, and if you decide to keep this format, then that’s fine and I will still happily watch (your new in beauty videos are literally my favourite videos to watch. I don’t know anyone else that does them). But as you are asking for opinions, then I definitely preferred the old way. However, do whatever makes you happy 😀
I personally prefer the old way, because not everyone has the same favs as you. But you can always point out which are your favourites. I just liked knowing all the new releases (even if you hadn't had time to formulate a personal opinion about them yet, I didn't mind). 😉

Even when I feel like I have quite a similar taste with you (more on high end side), covering just the "top 5" seems more like a monthly favorites video.. The point of watching the "new in" video for me was always pure sencere interest in seeing what are the month's launches, both high-end and low-end, as I don't have time to keep up (do seperate searches) with each company's individual launches myself, so the more different products included, the better 😄 It is great, interesting and informational to see them all in one place, and if you only chose 5, a lot of people might miss out on many great products!

Also I actually like to hear your opinion on all of the products, the ones that work or did not work for you.
I prefer the old version because i feel like it gives a better overview of everything that’s new. I am more likely to buy things from the older style because I would never buy these really high end expensive brands. They’re just not on my radar.

I like the old format. I like your longer videos and it's also always obvious what you're truly excited about. In this one I felt like I got a bit bored listening for too long about each product. Another viewer mentioned that your top five might not be our top five, so there's a better chance we will spot something we like. You tend to choose very pricey products (I would too if I got them in the mail 😏) and maybe aren't totally in touch with what it would add up to if you actually purchased high end EVERYTHING...everything in this video was expensive. I feel like the previous version was better because what may be a not so great product for you might work great for someone else. So its sometimes really helpful when beauty bloggers say, "This didnt work for me but if your preference is x, y and z this product may be really nice for you."
I’m on the fence about the comprehensive list vs only the top 5. I only lean towards the comprehensive list because makeup/skincare/fragrance is so personal, and just because something doesn’t rate with me doesn’t mean it won’t be a holy grail product for someone else. Plus, I trust you, Fleur, and enjoy hearing your honest evaluation of the products - we don’t get that with all channels. Just my two cents - I’ll watch regardless of the direction you choose!!! 💕

Personally I'd prefer this video to stay a more comprehensive 'this is what's coming out this month' update, rather than an edit of what you're most taken by - I'd like even more products, not less! (Or more drugstore, anyway). It's great if you have first impressions, but not necessary - it's really so I can see what I want to look out for reviews on or rush out and swatch. We get to find out what you've then really enjoyed from new in during your favorites videos and mentions on social and in vlogs, so cutting back the new in video just stops it being as informative and means we might miss new releases that might not be quite your taste/budget/skin type/thang. I have loved everything I’ve tried of Sarah Chapman, and I don’t know why more people don’t talk about her brand. Perhaps because it’s not new. Her sheet mask is the best I’ve used. Ultimate Cleanse, skin insurance and the moisturiser with spf15 are all so good.
To be honest, I love the older format more. Even though I enjoyed this video, I think taking a top 5 is quite similar to a monthly favorites video and I think too, just showing all the latest releases is really unique! I love seeing your new in videos so I know what's available on the highend and drugstore, and seeing all the color ranges :)
I like the old way better...because when you mention all products, because there might be stuff that's new that I like but that you wouldn't put in your top 5...so with the new way I wouldn't be informed of those things.

I can get quite overwhelmed with the amount of product in the New in Beauty videos, so I rather liked this! I am not a makeup junkie, so I'm not usually invested in going out to try something just because it's new.
I love these videos! I enjoy seeing all of the new in not just the top 5 as I feel you get a cross section that often includes drugstore that don’t always get included in normal videos. I hope this makes sense!

I’m a big fan of these videos, although I preferred the previous format as even though they had filler products, I’d want to know that they’re filler products and just so-so. I liked knowing which products to avoid as well as which ones to look out for. I understand you must get sent so many new products so even those videos would’ve been a selection, but I feel like no real opinion is an opinion. With so many beauty launches I find it super helpful to know which ones to leave 💘💘

I love these videos! I enjoy seeing all of the new in not just the top 5 as I feel you get a cross section that often includes drugstore that don’t always get included in normal videos. I hope this makes sense!
Hi Fleur, personally I prefer the old version with on overview of all the new products, simply because I don’t have the same skin type/ preferences as you but I enjoy your videos! Maybe in months where you have shorter lists of favourites you could add an update linking to the new in of things that really stood out? Like a mini first impression or fleurs star releases? Xx
I’m a big fan of these videos, although I preferred the previous format as even though they had filler products, I’d want to know that they’re filler products and just so-so. I liked knowing which products to avoid as well as which ones to look out for. I understand you must get sent so many new products so even those videos would’ve been a selection, but I feel like no real opinion is an opinion. With so many beauty launches I find it super helpful to know which ones to leave 💘💘
