@madsr6523 they were definitely better, nobody is denying that, but playing a game in this kind of heat and especially humidity, for the Congolese it's just another day as that's the weather they know for the moroccans it was hell. Ziyech was subbed for 10 minutes when the camera panned to the bench, he was still catching his breath, a lot of moroccan fans were fainting so yess the weather played a big part in this game.

@@brknbni1383 don't use that as an excuse because majority of the drc team were born in france and play their football abroad, they aren't used to african climate as well, their used to the european climate, they were just fitter, the moroccans were prideful because of their world cup run, lets not forget south africa beat morocco in june last year, in a more "adaptable" climate...like I said they lack consistency, one good run doesn't equal a quality side, you need to show up day in day out, whether its at a world cup, a friendly or at an afcon.

Great game full of entertainment. Morocco Had great chances of winning if it wasn’t for the incompetence of certain players who wasted golden opportunities to score (nssiri, boufal) . Might’ve been the pressure or the heat . And DRC fought teeth and skin to turn the table in the second half and their goal got the already exhausted opposition impatient. Thus creating holes in their defenses if it wasn’t for the tactical change towards defending.
It was stressful yet entertaining. Great game nonetheless. Long live AFRICA BABY 🤝

Congo had 1 shot on target, 1 goal. First half Bono didn’t have to be on the pitch, penalty included. Morocco could have scored at least 3 goals. They need to work on this cuz Tanzania game should have finished 5 or 6-0
