This was my first time as a foreigner in Indonesia. The first stop was the busy capital city, Jakarta. This city has everything from food like Nasi Goreng, Indomie and Martabak to beautiful mosques like the istiqlal mosque.
I even got to meet some tiktokers @Tensmalvlog07 met the Cristiano Ronaldo of street ice coffee. Jakarta has amazing street food, and some of the kindest people I've ever met. I go on the hunt for the Monas in Jakarta and have some coconut water.

While you are in Jakarta, you should come to the Istiqlal Mosque. There is a Silaturrahim Tunnel (Terowongan Silaturahmi) that connects basement parking between the Istiqlal Mosque and the Cathedral Church.
Better come on Sundays when the Christians park their cars in the mosque basement, then they walk to the church through this tunnel. This is a symbol of religious tolerance in Indonesia.

There's tunel which is connecting between the mosque and church..
On Sunday.. Catholic people may park their vehicles on Istiqlal parking area..
During Christmas.. mosque park areas are open for Cathedral visitors..
