Hope they bring enemies name tags back too because the skins blend in after 30 meters if you’re standing still

@@haroldisaacreyes262 from my understanding, it’s IW’s take on an extraction game based mode, similar to games like Escape from Tarkov or Hunt: Showdown. Seems like you’d be able to go in, complete quests, fight bots/players, explore and loot around an open world map and the main goal is to successfully make it to an extract rather than being the last one alive.
“And another one!” GGs, Jack. This game is looking promising, some very interesting changes and additions. Great to see dolphin diving back, slide canceling being practically removed. Staged reloads are a welcome addition as well, always hated starting a reload, having to switch for a gunfight and then restarting said reload from the beginning. Hope to see some interesting map layouts or at least visually distinct maps because all the ones I saw look a bit generic so the gunplay is really gonna have to hold it up if the maps are so bland. This game has a lot riding on it with this being the last mainline CoD until like 2024.
I love that this game looks more diverse with the color and the maps. the last few games just looked dull grey. Vanguard was just brown. Mw2019 was grey. Cw had a weird engine
The gun play is so nice. The way your character almost leans around walls is so smooth.. IW always have incredible gun play. Be interesting to see how multiplayer feels. Concerned in the games I’ve already played that a lot of people are camping, hopefully it’s just people tryharding and not knowing the maps rather than just the way the game will play..
That's what you get when you have loud, accurate footstep audio, no dead silence perk, and ghost active even while stationary. You get this. You get campers.
This game actually got me excited for call of duty! The new recoil mechanics and new gunsmith look great, as well as the gunplay and pacing of the game. I liked mw2019, so I will definitely enjoy this!
@@JohnSmith-dg3rd It's more realistic though. Real life automatic rifles are not stable machines. They are beasts of weapons that often need to be burst fired even depending on the weapon. If you go to a range and it's available, rent an automatic modern rifle and give it a go. It isn't easy.
I dig the emphasis on slower, more methodical gameplay they're pushing for this game, with much clearer audio for footsteps and diving and such, it requires you to play a bit smarter than the typical run and gun, while still providing that very same type of playstyle people are attached to. It feels like there's something for everyone here
and fans like you are why we can't have a fun cod game, go play battlefield or siege for a slow game play, it's cod it ain't about tactics its about hitting clips and dropping 60 bombs
Likewise. That’s definitely the first thing I notIced was the movement was more “realistic”. Unlike the past couple games, I feel this one requires more strategic movement (sliding/diving/jumping) and not just for the sake of trying to break someone’s camera Can’t wait for the full game already!
Haven't played COD in years, so take it for what its worth, but this feels like a phenomenal game. The gunplay feels so good. The haptic feedback is insane. The beta is so much fun.
I'll just say that the 3D pulse headset on ps5 paired with this games is so good it's like a feature all on its own. Tracking foot steps and having full on 3D spacial sound not just the best sounding COD yet but is probably the best sounding FPS I've played on ps5 for sound alone.
They gotta reduce the sound effects for this very fact alone, people on Xbox and PC are so fucked if this is the case, they NEED A PERMANENT NINJA PERK FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY PLEASE
you're the first person i've watched that makes this look like a ton of fun. I preordered based off my love for MW19, your video is making me feel more justified in my purchase
Game seems more tactical then the first...sound makes a huge difference..Got off COD duty series long time ago as alot changed..but this is starting to look much better with the combat enhancements
My issue with MW is the damn bunny hops, stim and dead silence speed up and the damn slide. On this one it seems they slowed it down. So I might check it out.

I hope the movement is as hard to master and as rewarding as it was in MW2019! I hate the sweaty slide cancellers as much as the next guy but it felt amazing to use and combo
The last couple of games we've gotten made me appreciate MW19, I can't have expectations of Bo2 and MW2, looking at this, im excited. Vanguard is without a doubt, a bottom 3 CoD
I love the looks of this game so far. Im a fan of the slower paced kind of games but also have always played cod and this looks like a mix of the two. I don’t know if i’ll get it when it comes out but definitely gonna keep my eye on it to see what happens
i was so hyped for the 1v5 😂 the music slowly building as the enemy number grew, jack throwing down munitions preparing for the battle, and then the most anti-climatic death haha
Thank you for showing a lot more on the audio. Very encouraging initial impressions as I know that was one of the frustrating thing last game. That rag doll going down the steps after killing the guy and hearing it go down each step till he reached the bottom was crazy impressive 😳 @6:46
These audio clips you’re showing us giving me a lot of hope, reminding me of the times I played on MW3 and would track kids coming up stairs in fun private matches and they’d assume I was hacking cause I’d always know which way they where and when they’d come out
I like the slower pace of this game. Was expecting it to be fast like the older versions but this is perfect. Just hope they don't start adding a bunch of bs and ruin it
Having good audio and footsteps that actually give you information about an enemies location are a huge deal to me as someone who plays a lot of EFT. It makes playing the game a little more strategically and a little slower more rewarding.
Oh my god, I haven’t played CoD in years but this looks great for a beta, esp when compared with BF2042 lol. And the difference sound comes across decently in the video, the changes in echo, pitch and materials as they move around really are excellent and improve both immersion and tactical opportunities. I’ll be watching this CoD closely!
Except if you were paying attention you would've noticed that gun sounds are better in MW19. I'm not talking about audio systems, echoes and whatnot, I'm talking about actual gun sounds being more sexy then than now. One might guess why's that
I can’t believe they still haven’t added one in the chamber when you reload halfway through a mag… with that gunsmith looking so good and realism being so important, it is crazy that they haven’t added that.
I like the recoil and that you can't see what you're shooting at... More realistic that way. Did not like the damage fall off though. If you're gonna make the guns harder to control, the damage fall off shouldn't be so dramatic. Plus it makes counter play against snipers actually viable.
But isn't that just one more thing in favor on controller players? Not being able to see clearly what you're shooting at is why pistol/iron sight fights is so hard on M&KB in dark areas, like Superstore in Verdansk. You have to focus so much just trying to see the enemy through your own muzzle flash, let alone with your iron sights shaking all over the place. While on controller you can be totally relaxed. It looks cool, but is it balanced? Is it competitive?
It's perfect imo. Gunplay, pacing, maps, gunsmith, progression, 120fov, 120hz support. Just played 5 hrs non stop, and it's super fun, especially knockout-mode!
Watched a few well-known COD streamers put out videos on mw2, but by FAR this has been a really great video showing all the important things. Good by you jack
The biggest thing for me is the recoil in the guns It should feel more realistic especially since they sound recorded every weapon/explosion absolutely amazing game feels like I'm ready to try it again after 14 years of not playing.
I like how Jack plays the game. But I saw a lot of other streamers bunny hopping around all the time.. Glad that they removed slide cancel, but bhop isn't better at all
I agree they should limit the amount of times you can jump in succession or at least penalize the player for jumping so much by slowing him down or making it impossible to run for a second.
Completely agree, but at least slide cancelling has been removed. I can't stand the playstyle of b-hopping and jumping around corners for EVERY INSTANCE OF MOVEMENT.
Super excited for the hostage gamemode actually. Reviving mechanics, being able to still shoot with the hostage, the dynamics of having to move your defensive position, and the fact that you don't immediately win after saving one hostage all makes for a very dynamic yet balanced mode imo
Looks great so far. Solid map design and aesthetic. Gunplay and smithing, and assorted multiplayer features seem to have been advanced from MW2019. Seems fluid and responsive. Now we've just to see if coach co-op is in the game. And how the main campaign is built.
I disagree with almost all that after hours on it last night, it's a downgrade from MW19 in many areas when you have them on a 65 inch 4K TV side by side. Textures and lighting especially.
It’s the same to MW2019 tbh. Didnt find anything groundbreaking or “advanced” after playing it. The gunplay is like MW2019 but I cant complain about that because IMO MW2019 had the best gunplay in the series so thats a good thing.
I honestly hate most CoD games nowadays..but, gyat the weapons feel so chunky and I love it. The gameplay is dialed down a bit aswell, so I don't need to continuously run around, spam jump and use the god awful slide cancel mechanic. I extremely love the visuals aswell. I know they seem distracted and can cover up your screen, but I love the effects.
treyarch only has waw, bo1 and bo2 in its bag as truly great games. infinity yard has mw, mw2, mw3 and mw2019 (sort of) as bangers. even aw and especially iw had some really praisable content. only other good thing from treyarch i can remember is bo3 zombies but iw also had zombies in spaceland.
I loved mw2019 just for the pacing and gunplay. My favorite part was death animations or (rag doll)how it would all be one fluid animation off the object instead of that weird pause it does then would fall off the object
loving everything about this except the incessant bunny hopping you see on the enemy team, should have a restriction like the dolphin dive. If they remove that/nerf that, best COD I've seen in a long time. Would definitely pick it up then.
@Andrew Ferns using the movement efectively is a skill gap as it is counter to people who just preaim specific spots or are camping in corners, in call of duty "playing tactical" is another way of saying camping
Idk about anyone else but personally I really like the visual recoil on thos new cod. Makes it feel a little more realistic in my opinion. Recoil can be a bother but I still love it

At 34 I think I'm definitely in the 'older gamer' market, I find myself relying on the audio more and more, so the audio (or lack of) in Warzone is infuriating. This seems promising.
Recoil increases skillgap only if its controllable, random recoil (especially side to side) and visual recoil do not increase the skill gap, and in fact, reduce it a little bit
Thanks for sharing, Jack! I think I have been burnt too many times on wonky releases, so I'll personally wait and see, but I'm really counting on a hardcore-type mode for this game (maybe classic hardcore or even something along the lines of one bullet one kill from the older MW games), which would go really well with all the new tactical movement, grappling, mounting on doorframes etc. Kind of like a polished Insurgency Sandstorm.

Jackfrags bringing the only based gameplay of MWII I've seen from this beta. All the other CoD ytbers/streamers just run and gun like they are on crack and complain that the game feels to slow... also the info about the footstep noise was huge for me. Finally footsteps can be silent again without dead silence. This bugged me so hart in MW19 bc playing without a headset, just chilling on the couch meant that basically 99% of the audio gets lost and you are not able to track any movement. On the other hand using a headset meant that you could hear a pin drop across the map.
Love to see someone comment on the physics since this is the space I specifically support and we’re building a team dedicated to it as a stand alone separate from say “gameplay engineer”

Love your vids! Your definitely the guy I would buy a drink at the bar.
Cheers Nik
Jack showing the mechanics while the rest of them are tryhards and sweating it out lol
EXACTLY. I was disappointed with the game until I saw this.
The way these guns operate is accurate. I love it. They even added smoke now. So fucking cool.
It's looking like a great start for this latest cod and the sounds from what you say are next level good , the foot steps and sounds are very important so this pleases me. Great content as always Jack
I was really hoping that gunfight would be in the beta, I'm assuming it will definitely be in the game though, it's easily my favourite game mode
Hey Jack! Im on ps4 and I can scale FOV all the way to 120 with no performance issues or graphical downgrades or bugs!
As I'm always playing with studio audio quality headsets, footsteps are vital to me. Glad they improved that!
Really impressed w how the new map design, less areas to hold instead direct map lanes with just enough objects for cover
Very beautiful game. Hope they keep this classy manner for the lifespan of the game.
@Daniel Valente yes i hate how it's not possible to play mw19 without having warzone installed. Now with 160gb I had to delete it finally
I love that the footstep audio works. But I think most of the cod community is gonna be pissed as they all want 0 footstep audio and dead silence as a perk.
Because of how DS work in MW, it should away be a Field upgrade
People want dead silence as a field upgrade
Honestly the best take on MW2 and WZ ive seen so far. I dont know how these people nit pick so hard
looks and sounds amazing, that directional audio is spot on and should be a standard for any fps.
I'm really excited about the sound improvements. Looking forward to this game coming out and playing the Beta myself.

The gunplay in mw19 was already one of the best you could get in casual shooters the only thing that held it back was the map design but i think this time they improved the maps a lot. I just hope they don't ruin this with anime cat ear bundles.
How many years you played COD? lmao of course they will ruin it. ENJOY the first few months of the game. As soon as another studio rotates in they will ruin Warzone 2 as well
MW19 is all time. I wish they would have kept that game engine for this.
Nah. Map design was top. MW19 was one of the best cods ever made
Dude 2 of the 4 maps in beta are way too big for 6v6 and are ratty as hell have u even played or watched the game if not then stfu next time
Good stuff - I''m very happy about the audio as someone who plays a lot of PUBG.
Multiplayer looks really good. Takes me back to the MW games I absolutely loved. The warzone integration is very disappointing so far though. Hope they fix that.
what is the warzone integration?
@@ptralx3122 when you need both installed
@@BkzReaper but you aren’t required to play it for ranking/unlocking ?
@@TheButcherGorr yeah but warzone takes up so much space
@@TheButcherGorr It would seem it's all about playing for fun. There are unlocks or progress but the journey is a one time deal for each category. What you do on multiplayer carries over to war zone vice verse
Based on what the previous comment said it would seem both are combined I'd imagine for pc players at least because on console I never had to install war zone and multiplayer.
Modern Warfare never cease to disappoint
You are the ONLY reviewer who has said they actually like it.
This video really solidified my decision to buy the game. Thanks Jack for an awesome video and look at the new MW2!
This took Modern Warfare to another level. Cool video Jack, thanks for sharing.
I would hope so...it's the second game...
