I'm actually really disappointed with the ending(s) to wildlands. The last mission should have given people an option on how to approach it, not bascially force guns blazing to make it on time. The player should have decided whether to kill or capture Sueno. There was no need for an alternate ending, just let the player choose the outcome. The last mission is painfully linear. The last mission goes against what makes this game fun: the flexibility of being able to do things how you want to do things.
The Blue Gh0st straight up with you there, is like they force you to run and gun, the end Is so painfull, it goes against the whole freedom of choice concept
Well the freedom of choice went out the window with the Truck Depot mission, when you drive a truck in, cannot be detected in anyway possible, then have to drive the truck back out or the mission doesn't get completed, took me about 25 tries because of how annoying the detect system is.
The Blue Gh0st that wouldn't make much sense since you're getting your orders from Bowman and she gets her's from above her. To be honest though, I'd like if there was just one ending - killing him.
I agree the choice should have been yours. While Bowman is still hesitating what to do you pull a gun, blow away Sueno uttering the oneliner "not so lucky today, punk". Or not.
+flitsertheo that would be fucking dope. I was waiting for the whole game to blow his brains out, and than that shit happens? Left me dissapointed of all that grinding.
I actually like the ending. It's not the cliche "capture or kill" options literally every game gives you. They actually thought outside the box with this one. Like they said el sueno is a genius. He knew he'd be living easy if he gain immunity. I'm enjoying the game and I enjoyed the ending
I agree. The complaints about this are pretty unjustified when you look at it, and it gives you a realistic ending of how the US can change things easily like that, and switch it up to go after more cartels, terror groups etc, while not seeing the underlying issue.
Bendy Snowball I don’t understand how you can call the complaints “unjustified” when you spend all that time getting to this point in the game having made choice after choice with the branches of the cartel you tackle and how you go about infiltrating various places and groups just to be met with an ending that not matter how well constructed you believe it to be is the ultimate fuck you to choice. They could’ve allowed the players to actively decide if they wanted to try and kill El sueno or let him live but instead they tell it through a cutscene. Not only that, if you chose the route where he does die you or your squad aren’t even the person/people pulling the trigger. You think that players want to sit behind the screen able to do nothing about the awful guy they built up and not even get to see their guy make any of the final choices for the story? I’m sorry but that’s just poor direction on the developers part. You can disagree but the complaints are anything but unjustified
@@Royal_Fortune But this is how alot of cases would have gone down IRL. I agree we should have had a choice in either killing him for our own selfish desire or to capture him for the greater good, but that being said it was still a good ending IMO.

mmmmm but this kind of people don't live long enough to spend "their" money, belive me, only the big fish are the ones who can enjoy their fortune (also for not too long), i'm from mexico and you can see and hear that in almost everywhere, of course the ones who acept this kind of jobs are very poor people or ignorant, the only way to "enjoy" that part of the drug bussines is being the boss, otherwise you will stay alive for something like 4 years (of course whit a lot of money... and people wanting your head), and then somebody would kill you to take your place.
I mean, I get it. I get what everyone is talking about, the ending indeed isn't very cinematic, and I agree, it is disappointing. But I guess what they were going for was a realistic approach, not some big bombastic showdown. Without a doubt it's wasted potential, but fuck, I suppose that's a point. Both of these endings are realistic and possible, and I doubt they'd go much different in real life. Me? I wanted a car chase and to crash a lavish villa filled with guards that's under attack from rebels and unidad alike, creating a 3-way gun battle with no allies. I liked the betrayal angle, but I guess the issue again is a lack of cinematic flair. Ah, well.
Just for anyone's interested, using the armored vehicle to get to the mausoleum takes too long. I use a helicopter, positioning it first in front of the compound and then fly across the valley unmolested, then with a quick increase in altitude at the last minute to drop at the front door of the mausoleum. Doing this in tier mode is easy. Takes about 2 minutes start to end. No interest in doing it again for alternative ending as it is pretty lame....
I honestly think they made a mistake with how accessible Helicopters are they are almost game breaking with how useful they are. Plus when you first get the ability to ask the rebels for vehicles one of the two options is a helicopter equipped with rockets lol that being said it’s still an amazing game and holds up to this day.
The good ending shows your the reality of society and corruption. You just have to keep destroy he's little dream until he runs out of immunity. This is a good game, it doesn't show you how easy it is to take down someone evil. Instead it shows your how cruel a corrupted society can really be and how hard it is to defeat someone that has more power than you.
kenjiro kaneshige learn how to spell and I work full time as a plumber. 7 days a week. Sorry I'm good at video games. 20th prestige 1000 in mwr in less than 10 days played
The weird thing is, the bad ending shows what should happen if you get all the Sandoval files - that Sueno knew that Ricky actually bombed La Paz, but all the good ending shows is that the investigation is ongoing, even if you found the body and confession.
well the thing is the investigation is "ongoing" you found the files, and as a result the CIA or some three letter agency struck all of it down in order to maintain peace regarding that situation (its really bad if it gets out that a DEA Agent of all people bombed a US Embassy), that is a more likely action, as shown, even if you didn't think the US was like that, the game still led you to believe based on how the story is set up (even the narration) that there was some story spins, or cover ups.
I'm just going to say if you follow the train tracks it takes you right to El Sueño's location bypassing all of the enemies just try not to get hit by the train.
I hated the ending. You put in so much work to complete the game and you don't get to kill Sueno or at least arrest him. He dies in a cutscene. I'd rather a quick time effect where you have a knife fight with him. That would be satisfying
Obviously the only games you play are Call of Duty or some other simple games, where everything is oh so picture perfect, and the endings are what you want. Its a twist, and the ending is well thought out, where your hands are tied and politics in the end, saved a drug lord from being captured.
Then you'd have the superiors on your hide for what you did, get jailed, suspended or something else. The ending of him getting to live is perfect as its one of those "yeah he wins for now" sort of deals.
@@darthhidious887 Yeah it's kinda realistic in that sense, the DOJ would have made a deal with him at this point, think about it, his empire is gone, and he would help in the destruction of many more drug kingpins. Basically, it is for the greater good he doesn't die. That being said, I would have liked a choice between pulling the trigger for our own selfish desires or to take the deal for the greater good.
No need. Just Make a short mission DLC like the "Operation Silent Spade" mission where the ghost team are tasked to eliminate sueno then put the blame to the rebels/unidad. This mission is categorized as "Black Ops" type given by CIA or Ghost unit.
I'm definately going for the 100% ending, because I like it over the other objectively and also because you can just parachute and walk to the front door.
Plus FBI don't just work only for the counter terrorist they work with stoping drug cartels and many other things and these santa blanka cartels are considered terrorist for taking over a state and almost all of South America kind of and these Americans can be part of a task force maybe
Megablueeyesdragon then go get them that isnt justice. They have evidence of him killing a cia Agent they would torture the infobout of him its the us fucking a look what they did apon seeing osama...
Dayrahl torture never worked, he would not break. what they could do use him to get information then give him an "accident" when he is not useful. in these situation you have to think with your head. what is more important avenging the death of one agent or preventing the death of many others
Megablueeyesdragon thats not how the americans operate. They killed osama when they could have taken him down why in a "realistic" game they wouldnt do the same is beyond me.. and that it isnt a choice on you're behalf its a good vs bad thats a weak way to end a game where you are giving the way to ingage....what black op ends with that.. he is guilty of murder with so much evidence to back that up th audio of him being there at sandavals execution....both are terribly written endings to this game.
I hope if they make another ghost recon they keep these charectors i love all of them their personalitys really seem real life like and the guy who makes jokes he is pure gold
Seriously? They made the ending about bowman? Nobody gives a shit about bowman. It should have been cooler if you character had killed el sueno and suffered the consequences. NOBODY CARES ABOUT BOWMAN

Funny how this games ending is in a completely different league to Breakpoint's ending despite the efforts of John Bernthal. Breakpoint doesn't stack up to this game at all, sure this game has it's flaws but in comparison to Breakpoint, I'd take this any day.
Yep, because he gets to live, and sells out a bunch of dangerous criminals in the process. And in either case of him disappearing or starting up a new cartel just means the ghosts are coming back for him.
Dj_Got_Skillz 101 actually letting him live is the good ending, Bowman doesnt go to jail and el sueno eventually will get fucked over.. Why would the ending where you need to 100% it be the bad ending lol
Loved the game. The level design of all the cartel bases was fantastic and the shooting mechanics were solid. The real story for me was figuring out how the cartels operated and watching those boss vids which helped complete an overall picture of why these bosses were important. The game had its flaws, off road driving was kinda shitty because the physics were completely off. My car would fly off a cliff, roll, and end up upside down, but then magically rotate until I could drive again. It just made me roll my eyes and kinda took me away from that realistic experience. The main operatives were pretty boring, but I'd argue they weren't really the story. Overall, this was one of the most enjoyable shooters I've played in a very long time, even if at times it can feel a little wacky and out of touch from the originals.
From the 2nd ending I wish they will make another game based on El Sueno and is Renacimento Cart€l, I mean... That would be wonderful, no? Personally, this game is so f¿cking awesome, now I'm trying to get all the weapons, Legends, points ect. But the mission is something really funny, so I would love another Wildlands game
Yeah, the game is awesome but I wish there was an easier way of unlocking exo suit. Maybe instead of dying once and losing everything it would be better to have 3 lives

I completed the game 100% before doing the last mission... It gives you the same ending at first as not doing 100% but if you do the ending again it triggers it.
yea I too destroyed the whole cartel before the final mission and I was confused about if I got partial ending or full ending, so it's partial ending the first time even if you clear the cartel completely
Welcome to real life. The best way to solve this problem? Legalize recreational drug use and go after these gangs for their violent crimes. Let the farmers grow and the users consume, free from the boot of dirty politicians and drug lords like El Sueño. Nobody's killing each other over tobacco or alcohol, because it's traded freely.
I JUST finished Wildlands before I bought Breakpoint and I made sure to complete all story missions. It's been a looong time since I've been satisfied like this in a game. Now on to Breakpoint.
I think the bad ending leads right into fallen ghosts because it said at 18:06 that Unidad will make a new deal with the next criminal organization which was probably Los Extranjeros.
Imagine they make another ghost reckon game like this where there’s actually 2 cartels at war and you have to take the rival cartel down and capture drug lords to execute them.
Great idea I think what could be good too is if they continue the story of this game (El Sueno Escaping) and bring us to a different country but have much more ghosts like how Karen said it will need 20, and there is still 4 ghosts in a group but you can switch between different ghost squads around the map and the missions will all come into play later by interconnecting and you can control everyone in the end.

U
I agree. The complaints about this are pretty unjustified when you look at it, and it gives you a realistic ending of how the US can change things easily like that, and switch it up to go after more cartels, terror groups etc, while not seeing the underlying issue.
Agreed
I didnt know that Bowman thought of me as a friend- that actually made my day for some reason lmao

17:08 The rest of the Ghosts from previous games popping in was nostalgic. Hope that's foreshadowing for an even larger-scale GRW in the future.
Loved the first ending. The twist was so damn good
It's more like a real ending, cause that's the ongoing war on drugs is nowadays: Worse than ever.
Oh, so me killing the rebels wasn't anything bad. Hmm...
1st mission: El Sueon's proposition
Start: 0:00 - Arrived: 0:18 - Answer the call: 0:37 - end of the mission/call: 2:10
2nd mission: El Sueon - Bad ending (By not killing all cartel)
Start: 2:50 - Analyze Amaru's body 3:01 - Reach Bowman 4:50 - Reach the mausoleum: 5:36 - Reached the mausoleum: 13:24 - Bowman's last word: 16:18
Bowman disreguard the immunity and killed El Sueon
El Sueon - good ending (By finish all cartel mission and go to the mousoleum)
He jump all of the go through but the ending: 20:44 - Bowman's last word: 23:28
Bowman accpet the immunity
Reward by finish any of the ending:

good ending so questionable but bad ending is actually better ending
I honestly would have accepted his job offer.

mmmmm but this kind of people don't live long enough to spend "their" money, belive me, only the big fish are the ones who can enjoy their fortune (also for not too long), i'm from mexico and you can see and hear that in almost everywhere, of course the ones who acept this kind of jobs are very poor people or ignorant, the only way to "enjoy" that part of the drug bussines is being the boss, otherwise you will stay alive for something like 4 years (of course whit a lot of money... and people wanting your head), and then somebody would kill you to take your place.
Muriel Galban to be fair in this game I doubt you could die if you took the offer
Ah, well.
Offbeat Tempo it was a fucking waste of a time to give so much time to game after knowing this fucking ending
well.. dont play a game that is 100% about the gameplay for the story. totally ur fault to be honest.
What happened to the rebels cause bowman said they were going after sueno but they weren't there they were just trying to kill you
Offbeat Tempo factss they went for a more realistic approach
Similar to Bad Boys 2 ending?
@@Demos_Jeff not in ghost mode, if you use a helicopter in ghost mode there is a 90% you will lose your save
I skydived since I was tier 20, it was dang near impossible driving 😑

The good ending shows your the reality of society and corruption. You just have to keep destroy he's little dream until he runs out of immunity. This is a good game, it doesn't show you how easy it is to take down someone evil. Instead it shows your how cruel a corrupted society can really be and how hard it is to defeat someone that has more power than you.
Looks El Capo Guzmán
Just yesterday you finish the whole game? Jesus christ I wish I had as much free time as you.

Who else didn't know there were 2 endings until now
Ya Boi we both have the same name..

17:05 someone should introduce Bowman to Rico Rodriguez.

Second ending gives opening to sequel to wildlands which I would definitely be ready for I just now play wildlands
The sequel to wildlands is breakpoint
EmporerAaron getting arrested for me pulling the trigger would still be infinitely more satisfying
I hate what happens to rebel support
They need to make another game based on the "Good Ending". Make it to where you have to stop his 2nd cartel.
What breakpoint should’ve been
I agree maybe they are working on another one I hope
@@Rbandz321 I’ve always saying that for the longest
or maybe El Sueono isnt making another cartel, he might just be disappear

But stoping a dictator you need a few more then four operators and that's how rainbow six was born
Rainbow Six is a NATO or UN CTU, Ghost Recon is American special forces so no lol
Seth Smith but there are a certain American forces available
Plus FBI don't just work only for the counter terrorist they work with stoping drug cartels and many other things and these santa blanka cartels are considered terrorist for taking over a state and almost all of South America kind of and these Americans can be part of a task force maybe
Doston Khudoyberganov not FBI SWAT
Doston Khudoyberganov it's ctu
It would be cool if there would be an update where you could work for him, that would be interesting
Dankmemes21121 like be the enemy
Dankmemes21121 Well, they did gave us the narco road dlc. Yes we maybe on a undercover mission but still technically working for him.
I would've said yes if there was an option, like they added 2 or 3 side missions if you said yes
Yeah, a second bad ending, just like far cry 5
Yeah, like give you a choice when you answer his call to join him or not
why didnt the ghosts just lie in the first ending and say some random person killed him or something?
that's now how it works in the real world lol
was my first association too to be honest
Honor.
With every death comes honor, with honor, redemption.(ayy random overwatch quote but it fits bowman for the first ending avenging ricky and all)
They'd still be punished for not protecting Sueno. Also, no one would believe that.
the second ending is the bad ending because he deserved to die!!
GamiZore he eventually dies when he has no more intel on his competition
GamiZore yeah but the other cartels live and he would of most likely had died when he was no longer usful
The realistic ending: Operators breach the door, dump half a magazine into him before he he’s the first syllable of his speech out. The end.
That car that spawned out of nowhere XD
I kinda feel like this was based off Pablo Escobar and how he was randomly takin out in a gun fight.
Big Meat wait what?
Pablo was encircled by the law enforcement and he was gunned down
Well, he once said "I would rather have a tomb in Colombia than a cell in USA", so it was a good ending for him
I see where your coming from
I hope if they make another ghost recon they keep these charectors i love all of them their personalitys really seem real life like and the guy who makes jokes he is pure gold
@@GreasySwayzewhat 'one time' is he even referring to lol
They need to make a DLC where you play as el Sueno they would be cool
Mike Szollosy or play with El Sueño's cartel.
Mike Szollosy being able to play as all the cartel members would be cool. Even if it's only in a multiplayer like in uncharted 4.
One of the expansions has you going undercover for the cartel
Mike Szollosy nah f that
Seth Smith not for the Cartel
Does this game have all the names from Black Ops
Bruce Wayne No those are used in the military
Edris Ahmed the military are Copying black ops
bobinbox 123 how this game actually lets you do what you want
they even copy paste the hitmarker sound
Bruce Wayne bowman
16:00 that pistol sounds so weak (thats if its not suppressed)
Seriously? They made the ending about bowman? Nobody gives a shit about bowman. It should have been cooler if you character had killed el sueno and suffered the consequences. NOBODY CARES ABOUT BOWMAN
How would continue free roaming if you got arrested...
Krellex _ Ubisoft gives every game with potential a shit story. The division was a bunch of corrupt unless cunts in the story and this game's ending is about the most boring character.
Krellex _ well what do you expect They slap a tom Clancy logo on any shooter slightly realistic
Lord Owl you've ever played far cry three, you know that you can die and after the credits, you respawn on the island, they could do the same thing here
Evolving Life ok so battlefield 1, battlefield bad company 2 battlefield 3 battlefield 4 call of duty 1- ghosts, the entire GTA series, ARMA, squad, All are shooters not made by Ubisoft so no not every realistic shooter has a tom Clancy logo on it
all that you have to do for that ending not worth it
if you like video games you'll go for the 100% completion... if you don't and only play 50% of the game then your waisting your money you moron

game literally kills the final boss for you. that's the Cardinal sin of gaming. I just beat this game and it was complete shit from pre order to the end. I didn't get the disc with my collectors edition, it arrived 2 days late, the game is riddled with glitches, bugs and brain dead AI that ruin escort missions just to name a few. then at the complete end of the game, after all that hard work and grinding, you don't even get to kill el sueno. fuck ubisoft, they are officially dead
Dusty13Bravo your right but I have only seen 1 glitch where if your teammates (solo) parachutes into the water they'll float in midair and it's easy to fix that and A.I is pretty smart for me so there's not rly that much to complain about and dude the game just came out a few days ago of course there's going to be some bugs and glitches in the game and if the game is too buggy just wait for a patch to come out but yeah I don't like how they don't let you kill him yourself but they went with the realistic aproach why let yourself get killed when you can take the safer option and survive yeah its bad for a game to do that when it involves the ending but they probably wanted it to be realistic in that regard well this is the end of my long comment but I hope you take both views before making a opinion if you dont that's just being ignorant to a certain extent well see ya bye
Gagan S No he doesn't. The game isn't complete shit because of the fucking ending.
Funny how this games ending is in a completely different league to Breakpoint's ending despite the efforts of John Bernthal. Breakpoint doesn't stack up to this game at all, sure this game has it's flaws but in comparison to Breakpoint, I'd take this any day.
The 2nd ending seems better than the first
zachary richardson that's because the second ending is called "the good ending".....which is my favorite ending btw.
Killerninja same
Yep, because he gets to live, and sells out a bunch of dangerous criminals in the process. And in either case of him disappearing or starting up a new cartel just means the ghosts are coming back for him.
Wildlands 2 will definitely be in Peru. Damn I'm over hyped already!
Ngl Karen Bowman's description of the ghosts gave me chills. Wish the player could decide if Sueno dies in one of the cutscenes.
Which was the good ending?
Lui/Louis Lambert killing him
Dj_Got_Skillz 101 actually letting him live is the good ending, Bowman doesnt go to jail and el sueno eventually will get fucked over.. Why would the ending where you need to 100% it be the bad ending lol
Saabo The Hun Wait how do you know El sueno will get fucked over?
Comment Reader Cutscene 2 its the good.
Saabo The Hun he wont get fucked over hell escape and start a new cartel
El Sueno is the combination of Thanos and Wilson Fisk. The funniest thing is that both El Sueno and Fisk dealt with Karen😂😂
but I did all missions but I didn't get the second ending lol but I like the 1st one more
yup
Same. I even got a message saying I "completed 100% of the game, but need to complete 100% for the alternative ending".
I was so confused.
I got that message too. Replay the mission and you'll get the good ending.
If Sueno lives, he's going to disclose that Ricky Sandoval blew up the embassy.
@@TezercatsYear has passed, but, worth saying. Ghost mode saves your progress on killed bosses.

The irony of sueno telling a “Karen” to “take me to your supervisors” has gotta be an intentional joke lmao
Wow, I did all of the missions but I still got the bad ending. Thanks, Ubisoft.
am i the only one who actually was sad that pac betrayed us an died at the hands of suenõ?
Mavrik Varrad same that was bull shit
Ha good try, but the "~" goes above the "n", so it is "ñ", sounds like "nie" and the word will be like "suenieo", phonetically speaking.... damn is too hard to replicate the sound of spanish words on english.

Could the 2nd one mean a ghost recon 2
Finn Weber i hope so
More like GR: Wildlands 2.
No it would mean ghost recon wild lands 2 there are several other ghost recon games
Probably
Well yes
I completed the game 100% before doing the last mission... It gives you the same ending at first as not doing 100% but if you do the ending again it triggers it.
yea I too destroyed the whole cartel before the final mission and I was confused about if I got partial ending or full ending, so it's partial ending the first time even if you clear the cartel completely
Just finished and i don't really think ether endings are great
It's realistic. If you want a cinematic ending, play COD
Welcome to real life. The best way to solve this problem? Legalize recreational drug use and go after these gangs for their violent crimes. Let the farmers grow and the users consume, free from the boot of dirty politicians and drug lords like El Sueño. Nobody's killing each other over tobacco or alcohol, because it's traded freely.
in the good ending they keep seuno in a cell and force him to rat out gangs and in the bad ending everyone thought he would be able to walk free
The car of the minute 6:59 would have scared me a lot lmao
I miss when ghost recon was an actual tactical game with a storyline that makes sense
I KNEW I HAD A FEELING THAT I SHOULD FINISH ALL OF THE MISSIONS
I JUST finished Wildlands before I bought Breakpoint and I made sure to complete all story missions. It's been a looong time since I've been satisfied like this in a game. Now on to Breakpoint.
In my opinion wildlands was better then breakpoint I wasn’t a fan of it

no you got better ending
Imagine they make another ghost reckon game like this where there’s actually 2 cartels at war and you have to take the rival cartel down and capture drug lords to execute them.
Great idea I think what could be good too is if they continue the story of this game (El Sueno Escaping) and bring us to a different country but have much more ghosts like how Karen said it will need 20, and there is still 4 ghosts in a group but you can switch between different ghost squads around the map and the missions will all come into play later by interconnecting and you can control everyone in the end.
I'm still enjoying MGS5.
