Well now, here is a fellow that knows what he’s doing. It was a short trip but I learned a lot thank you. I never realised those big boats are so touchy .
Love these types of videos showing you the whole start up and manoeuvre of large vessels. You make it look so easy and would love to see you set up the nav etc and take a boat out to show you how easy it can be done solo (if possible) Another couple of things I’d love to see is the process of how you go about speccing and buying your boat, also how the handover of a boat should be done from dealer to customer on delivery day (if there is such a thing) I know many owners wouldn’t want to be on TH-cam but perhaps a mock up of a boat handover? Great video again and looking forward to your next one whatever it may be 😃
Excellent finally a Yacht channel that actually teaches you something instead of just opening drawers and cupboards and waving at yourself in the mirror.
That's pretty unfair on Aquaholic which is who you're obviously aiming this comment at. Nick's whole MO is purely to showcase the design and functionality of vessels rather than giving people tutorials on how to drive.
@@justininvestor Yes, because that's what he does and specialises in. He also tells you a lot about the boat? I don't get it? He details the engines, the interiors, exteriors.. you're judging his channel by expecting different content to what he makes?
Best you tube channel on boat's for sure! And the only Chanel that actually drive the boat's he is reviewing, yes I know he is a professional sales man, but I love it regardless.
Thank you James for this maneuvering this yacht in the dock area. That was really nice to showing potential purchasing clients and enthusiastic people how to handle your yacht in very tough spots.
Thank you for another enjoyable and informative video James. It is clear from the ease in which you performed the tricky manoeuvres, shows a confidence obviously gained from several years of handling motor yachts. As a land-lubber who has never been on-board a yacht of this size, much less piloted one, it was nothing short of amazing to me that a 76ft motor yacht could be handled so easily with only small adjustments to the throttles and thrusters. I look forward to your next video.
Feck this was one of the most nerve wracking videos I've seen in a while. That reversing out of the berth had me clenching. Amazing. Just got yourself a new sub.
Well done with that maneuver. I just finished my RYA level 2 at that marina and was doing turns in those finger channels in a RIB like you had in your video. The fact that you did that in a 76 yacht I can only aspire to your level of skill. Well done. 👍
What a beautiful toy 👍 After watching you use the bow and stern thrusters undocking out of that tight slip, this gave me the necessary thumbs up to do this myself . Nice job young man 👍
A class act demonstrating some seriously superb seamanship and close-quarter manoeuvres. A fine example of planning and the benefit of dead slow at all times.
Good job! Nice explaining as you go! Make some more videos. Perhaps start up, leave marina and go on a 30-40 minute ocean trip and then arriving and docking at new marina.
Imagine doing that without the joystick! VERY, VERY WELL DONE !! I thought if I was ever fortunate enough to own my own yacht it would be between 60’ and 100’. Small enough I could run it myself. After watching this dude I can assure you if I ever do own one I’m gonna have to hire a captain and few crew!
You'd be amazed how quickly you'd get to grips with it, although something much bigger than this would sure be nice to have at least one crew for general cleaning/maintenance/hauling lines etc.
I was wondering if you could next time do the docking and manoeuvring by joystick? Would be nice to see that also one time for a large Sunseeker yacht.
Excellent video showing your superb boat control James and the fact Stuart just leaves you to it and doesn’t give you any guidance or direction shows the mutual confidence. I would want someone on each corner telling me all is good 🤣😎
I know Swanwick Marina well, we collected our Princess 56 from there before shipping it to Portugal. Congratulations, that was a seriously tight berth and an exceptional manoeuver, even more so with a GoPro in one hand!
Very interesting and most enjoyable to watch. Please film every time you move a boat as it is makes for some of the best videos on here. Thank you for posting great content on here.
Well now, here is a fellow that knows what he’s doing. It was a short trip but I learned a lot thank you. I never realised those big boats are so touchy .
There's taking a boat out and TAKING A BOAT OUT. Not only driving but narrating. Well done.

Some great ideas here and something I will work towards doing in the future for sure.
Check out my son's docking skills thanks

@@wesleyfoster3545 he opens drawers and closets and waves at himself . He actually tells u next to nothing about the boat.

Make no mistake what he just did looks easy but it most definitely is not. Super impressive skills, all while remaining calm.
Vielen Dank. That was just great to watch

Sorry for my bad English 😬
Thank you James for this maneuvering this yacht in the dock area. That was really nice to showing potential purchasing clients and enthusiastic people how to handle your yacht in very tough spots.
Like in all activities, sports etc - when professionals do it, it looks so smooth and easy! Impressive.
What a skilled boat driver! Thanks for the in depth narration and simple walk thru! I’d love lessons from someone like you!
I’d love to see more vids like this James.
I second this. As much as I like watching the walk throughs I like seeing them in action too.
Agree, these are fantastic and provide a real insight into what it would be like to own of the these (or dream about!!). Keep them coming James!
I’m retired and have never owned a boat of any size, but I sure do enjoy watching any master of his craft. Outstanding ! 😎
Thank you captain
Awesome driving
This dude is a smooth operator
Marvellous, calm and well eloquently explained. Salute.
Brilliant and well presented!
Skipper know his boat👍 Great driving🥇
Fantastic how you make it near impossible for someone to rule out owner / operator. Well done Captain James Video!
Impressive skills!

I'd love to do that for a living. I haven't driven a yacht since I done my helmsman course.
That looks easy. Try docking a 30’ without power thrusters and six drunks aboard. Not so easy. :). Great skills James.
What a beautiful toy 👍
After watching you use the bow and stern thrusters undocking out of that tight slip, this gave me the necessary thumbs up to do this myself .

Good job! Nice explaining as you go!
Make some more videos. Perhaps start up, leave marina and go on a 30-40 minute ocean trip and then arriving and docking at new marina.

Good job well done…i would like to see another camera on the throttle…will be perfect 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks! Yup I have started doing this on my more recent tours and think it gives a good perspective.
Very interesting and most enjoyable to watch. Please film every time you move a boat as it is makes for some of the best videos on here. Thank you for posting great content on here.
Will do!
Now these are some serious skills! I had no idea how you would maneuver this huge yacht out of the narrow berth, but hey, there you go!
Great video 😀
Jet druve bow seen Thayer 60 foot sunset jets
Nice one, James. Very CCC (Cool, Calm & Collected). Wouldn't like to do that on a day Skippers' exam though. Love these videos.
Excellent video, a nice change to the tours.
Absolutely loved this. Camera on the controls with a corner screen on video would be great.
Please more videos like this!
Great video James!!
Thanks James!
Very informative
Glad you liked it
That looked so easy and simple. Coming out of that birth I would have been kacking it. Very very impressive.
