The way Mumei sang her part in 2:19 hit me particularly hard. The way she delivered her line, following Ina's "I wasn't afraid of dying alone.", felt...realistic. Starting off very soft, and gradually increasing in power as it ends. I'm not gonna pretend I know what Mumei was thinking as she was recording the line, but I do know that being able to look nostalgically at the person you were is a good sign of growth. I'm not afraid of dying alone. It's a conclusion I arrived to after my own personal experience, of an easier way to live life. But maybe, one day I'll be able to look back at my current self, and feel nostalgic for even this part of me I feel is final.
@@JanitorAntisocial based on the lyrics, it seems to be inspired on Minecraft (heavy references to sandbox setting where you are free to do what you want) but applied to real life situation.
Wow, great work friend, now that i know what the lyric is about, i have an even greater appreciation and love for this song. Not to mention that it fits Holo EN, heck maybe even Hololive in general, very well. Also, I now have a headcanon that this song is a story of Holo EN, slowly building a City, into a Country, then into a Planet, in an obvious next step to go to Space, and meet a certain old friend Thank you for your hard work.
Both Ina and Mumei's voice sounded different here, but of course that the biggest difference is Mumei's deeper voice. Is that her actual regular voice or did she try to sing differently this time?
@@OkkyS I've seen some of her karaoke vids. My doubt is if Mumei's usual voice is her actual voice or if this deeper voice is actually her everyday voice(aside when she's "being Mumei", if you catch my meaning).
@@FlipTheBard there is a vtuber called ophelia midnight who does streams analyzing vtuber voices. One of my favorites thoughts from her that came during a discussion about real voices is that there is no such thing as 'a real voice'. All of them are her real voice. There might be one register where she is most comfortable, but both her lows and her highs are still hers
@@FlipTheBard if i were to say then i think her usual voice is closer to her everyday voice, sometimes in karaoke she coughs when her voice goes deeper so i'd assume it strains her a little bit she just has a big range

Also, the second generation is not called Council anymore. They're now called Promise. The original HoloCouncil are Sana, Bae, Kronii, Mumei and Fauna. That's why before they're renamed as Promise, they were called CouncilRys, Iris included.
You guys you know what I just realized Mumei's most Iconic line came AFTER Kronii's line at 3:49 KronMei is the real deal. It's practically canon at this point. And if anybody has a problem with what I just said, I'm just a loyal Kronmei fan. What are you going to do about it?
Mumei with the deep voice her deep voice is so good
I guess her raws were even deeper then in the final product.
check selens bday concert, at the end of their cover with zeta her voice is way deeper than this
Can't do that anymore @@5012khgia
I had no idea it was her voice without the MV 😂
Ngl, her voice confused me a little bit
3:49 I started tearing up Sana would be proud the deep voices and everything gawt damn I love all of them so much

4:11 Can we just stop for a second and appreciate how well Nerissa and Kiara sound next to each other?!
You a real one for this. Now I don’t need to open a separate tab for lyrics. You have my thanks
Gotta say this Cover is both Wonderful and Fantastic together. Seeing Hololive EN with a Total of 15 idols is like a one big family
Yup. I can't wait to see what happens when they hit 20...
Dumb question: Is the original song actually referencing Minecraft, or is it one big lucky coincidence?

I believe this took you a lot of effort, and it is great to know the meaning of the song! Thank you friend, bless you.
Thank you :>

I kept thinking "who's the girl in the top left??"
and then I was "wait ... Ame? wtf, that doesn't look like her at all!"

Please hear her karaoke clip, she can do deep voice and change back to usual voice easily

THANK YOU 🙇🙇
Mumei's deep voice gave me chills
I love this song
sounds like an opening to a highschool romcom anime
i feel like this song will be a good Opening song for their anime if EN gon have one ^^
Well done, after knew the meaning I really need this when I feel down. Thank you
Finally I found the translation. Love the song and HoloEN. Edit: Forgot to thank for lyrics and translation.
Shiori~~~Shiorin
Thank you❤
So it's actually about Minecraft, i thought it was a naming coincidence or something.
Pretty sure it's a coincidence lol, it's a cover of an existing song called MindCraft.
Nice job! 🙏
Bae, please, your next mega cover must include all the 25 members of hololive production English.
I just noticed why Bae is the biggest in picture. Sana...
Oh my god I never noticed those final lines separating the gens. The amount of layers to this cover is insane.
LETS GOO
Playing this while playing the MV in another tab lol
Nice job

Amazing work with the lyrics and color coding, such a beautiful song
btw, can you put the link to the Cover in the description?
Sure

Mommei
Mumei really surprised everyone with that deep voice. Even bae was not expecting her to sing like that. I was even surprised how great kronii's is

3:10 am I wrong but shouldn’t it “良く夢を” or would the romanji be different and it’d be “yoki yume o!”?
Mumei ❤
is this really mumei's voice 2:42
bae fr sounds like shes singing in katakana at some parts for english
Might be an idea to make it clear this is a cover by Hololive EN, not an original song.
