This coat is fabulous and I must agree a rested mind helps so much when sewing, especially those more complicated projects. I LOVE the brooches on the lapels, it does add a beautiful look. I also agree with the husband, the length is great. Great review!!
congrats on making your dream non-wool coat! i love the long length. personally i think it looks better than midi-length. those brooches are such a gorgeous finishing touch as well.

Thank you friend. Yeah, my family and friends couldn’t see the things that are bugging me in person either. I think I just have high end taste and I’m hard on myself because I cannot produce high end looking garments yet. BUT… I’m on my way. My sewing gets better and better with each project. I made the coat and yes, the sleeve band did irritate me. I decided to stitch the ban to the sleeve which is much better.
