I've been collecting and enjoying them very much. I think that in 10, 20, 30 years time these quarters and the "America The Beautiful" series will truly be treasured!
My great gma recently passed and left me a full set of all the state quarters. Each in the collectors book and taped down. Every quarter is there. I didnt realize it was worth anything until now. I literally stumbled on this video and im mind blown. Thank you Gma 🙏🏾
I collect the state quarters. I just found a 2008 yesterday. I have never found a "W". My quarters are not in fine condition, they are circulated but fun to collect. Thanks
I have 2 west ment quarters. And you find the w in the same place as the other leaders. Both of mine have the stamp on the left hand side. I found both looking through pocket change.
I enjoy searching quarters. All the variations in the newer quarters have made them about an education in themselves. Fortunately we have your videos to help. Thanks J & B.
I am an avid coin roll hunter of mostly nickels, but decided a couple of years ago to try to put together a set of state quarters mainly to force myself to go through my pocket change.
My wife has done started looking at coins like crazy. She has started collecting all the state quarters. Thanks for the videos. Greatly appreciated. I usually send them to her when im working out of town
My Dad collected many state quarters and since passing, passed them down to me. I have many, many uncirculated U.S. Mint rolls and many in opened U.S. Mint direct boxes. I had been hearing that since the mints produce so, so many of these state quarters during this, "campaign", that they would not be worth much more than face value. Seeing your video saying otherwise, was good to hear. I have since subscribed to keep current with this content - thanks.
Sadly I was buying 2 rolls of every mint from buddy banker, 2007 I was robbed and completely discourage from collecting. Now I have about 50lb of quarters and these videos have me reviewing them.
I have all the state quarters and have been collecting them since they first came out! I bought 5 state quarter maps for myself and all family members years ago! I’m afraid to put my quarters in mine because I don’t want them all scratched up 😂 I will need to go through them all soon and see just what I have! I told my daughter I would help her finish her map as well! Thank you for the information J&B! I shall pass it on!
Oh yes indeed..have been since they first came out in 1999. Love the Art designs on each one. And of course the History they tell. Never thought these would become valuable. I would love to know more about them. Tysm for sharing the information. It's worth it's weight in Gold by itself.
Great information. I have never looked through the two binders of all of the Statehood quarter’s! I’m trying to go through your video’s so I have a little idea what to look for. Thank y’all again!
In 1999 I started buying mint bags and selling on Ebay, this continued until about 2006, wish I had kept some for myself- The market was hot for BU'S back then. I sold then in sets in really nice anual display cards. Lot's of fun...
Love the state quarters. Each quarter has something unique and significant to say about the state it represents. Sometimes it's just neat to go through and see which pictures I can remember the state of, lol. Thanks for the video, J&B. All is even better if they have no faults/errors.
Sitting here right now searching $500 in quarters. Found a 1953 S 90%'er a few minutes ago!! Also a few 2009s. Have only gone through 10 or so rolls so far.
Thank you for the information. I am trying to complete 14 state quarter sets that my dad started prior to his death. He was trying to put together enough sets to give to his children (3), grandchildren(5) and great grandchildren (6). I have almost collected enough, but lack many in each set. Your movie I just viewed certainly helped with why those five coins have been a challenge.
I really like the state quarters, as well as the national parks series. In fact, I would rather go through a bunch of quarters than any other coin----! Yes, I collect state quarters----very nice series!
I hoarded hundreds of state and commemorative quarters shortly after the came out. I wondered if it made any real sense. Apparently, it was a smart decision.
I have been collecting the state quarters when they came out. Before I knew I would be a collector of coins. I as I type this am going through a box of them. They're still out there and I also collect the National Park quarters. I think they're much more appealing than the state. Thanks for your video and info. All the best and respect for all you do for this community.
I have been collecting coin's for over a year now and it's gotten to where I had rather hand over a dollar than go to grab change out of my pocket I have collected quite a number of coins of each kind and feel that I have come across a nice collection in the time since I began. I am anxious to see what may come of the time and energy put into collecting the coins. At first start it was thought as a get rich quick scheme but I have become more interested in getting one of each kind as far as ever ment that is beyond my means. Maybe in the times ahead I will be in a manner to which I am able to get a select few of them graded. Yet there's much more work to be done before I get to see if they have been well worth it or just a matter of change of habit that makes more sense(cents) than what's been stirring up around me in these city streets. Thanks for the share of information as I am looking forward to seeing it be a little more than a down time hobby that may be found feasible in a do season for good reason. Have a blessed and wonderful day.
I am new to roll hunting. So I usually keep clean nice coins as well as any toning on them. I found that interesting before i seen the color grading chart.
yes i collect state quarters, have all but 8 of them. looking for them to complete. also collect the park quarters, have all but 15 to complete. hope to complete but hard to find the earlier years 2010 to 2013. but im still keep looking. the oklahoma one you show is one that i need, been watching out for that one along with all the others. lol watching big time for the w's. they will be collectable. but thanks for all the info. have a great day
I have 6 complete sets of P/D statehood quarters. The value of some may be high, but you have to spend $30.00 per coin to find the 68's& 9's. By the time you spend the dollars on certification companies to look at multiple coins, you might come out behind the 8 ball.
Wow. Congrats. I have completed one set. It took almost 6 years for me. I am Resident in Bangladesh, a beautiful country in Asia. I am collecting coins for last 20 years.
The 2005 Kansas silver proof dented Bison is probably the rarest of all the state quarter error/variety coins. Very soon an example will come to auction at Great Collections, none have ever been offered to the public for sale.
In fact, there are four complete sets of the state Quarter collection that have been completed in the collection that are in possession for owning the different types of coins that are available! And more than just the state quarters are the Special mint sets64, 65, 66, & 67 SMS sets! a complete collection of brilliant uncirculated Kennedy half dollar coins (1964 to 2014) and a complete set of the Lincoln Cents (1909 through 2019)! Love collecting all kinds of coins! real beautiful keepsakes!
