It's on my channel. There are 4 parts, and it is there....but if for some reason you can't see it, it may be blocked in your area. There is a bogus claim on Part One stating that it contains 3rd party content. I have contested this. Hope this helps. Let me know if you can see it....thanks!
Are you referring to the background piano with the voice over at the same time? Or, are you talking about the 3 boogie players playing all together a little further in?
This series relies upon video clips of 1930s- onwards piano boogie exponents to present a fabrication of allegations based upon nothing but some bigoted "experts" telling some very tall tales to suit their opinions. The piano boogie style was inspired by the 8-to-the-bar music as performed by The Original Dixieland Band in 1917-1918. Particularly their performance of "Bluein` The Blues". Just play the Victor record to hear the true Origins of Boogie Woogie. Chris Pirie.
You R so wrong - Black people were the originators of Jazz, Blues, Boogie Woogie, Rock and Roll - The Original Dixieland Band just stole from them. Move on and accept U tried to emulate the Black styles.
I love big joe duskin! Thanks!
Oh, man. I run across this series just as it's time to go to bed. What a dilemma.
I'm glad Mary Lou Williams was awarded a doctorate! Great videos, especially the twin pianos of Pete Johnson and Albert Ammons.
The ending is a thrill...

That's Uncle Lionel Batiste on the big drum at 0:09.
A bit more relaxation and a nice dose of sleep, and the fits might vanish. LOL.
A small point of correction to my post item: The Original Dixieland Jass/Jazz Band, not "The Original Dixieland Band". Thank you. Chris Pirie.
