    I work for a well known American owned hire company in the UK. We've got these on the fleet recently with the CVT and whilst I expected them to be usual rental crap, they're actually really lovely to drive! I'm into cars too, but as something comfy they're so relaxing and the gearbox is one of the best autos out there. It's quick too, and the sound system on the high spec models is fantastic

      Amazing how so many feel the need to waste people's time with their USELESS opinion. They never drove one or own one but still the need to rip apart. Glad I live my VERY short life for myself and not for "others" validation. I love my 2019 Cross. Has more in it then cars costing LOTS more $$.

      Correct. I drove one. Great SUV for its price. Lots of goodies in this one.

      I own a Lancer, so if the manual gearbox is the same, I don't understand why should anyone complain about it.

      I actually own 3 Lancers. 2 manual and 1 auto. Never had an issue with any. In the family we also have a 2003 Outlander, a 2010 Outlander and a 2018 Outlander just updated from a 2015. All dam great cars.

    Honest review. We’re picking up our Exceed AWD this Saturday. I test drove the base model was very happy with turbo engine. We don’t have the manual version in Australia.

    I purchased this vehicle and I really enjoyed driving it. Everything is at hand reach for me. But the only thing I don't really care for is the sound system. Otherthan that it's a great get around vehicle.

    I applaud Mitsubishi still committed to manual gear selector and handbrake. Could be better if it had traditional ignition start too.

  • @Atomkukac1

    I tried out this car. The manual gearbox was not as bad, the engine is pretty good. The boot is VERY small. The stick of the gearbox is higher, than you would prefer. In overall I liked teh car, but it was toooo pricy.
    On the other hand, the local Mitsu dealership offers 8 (!!!!) years of warranty. That is fucking awesome. (Ireland)
    In the end I got a used BMW X1 and I am happy with it.

    At this moment by fact there isn't better by specks, 4x4 driving, and better looking SUV in this class and price range than Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross. It's also NCAP the safest SUV in the world for front passengers!

    • @MarekDrives
      @MarekDrives 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Looks aside, I'd probably go with Honda CR-V.

    • @lulolee5325
      @lulolee5325 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mitsubishi has more effective 4x4. And in our country Honda CR-V is often stolen car, so KASKO insurance is very expensive, and needs extra security installations... while Mitsubishi is fine with very minimal insurance and no requirements for additional security system etc,, So those are decisive factors, and Honda isn't an option at all.

      Marek Drives for the price? No way. The low end CRV (closest to Mits) is one of the most overrated pieces of trash I’ve ever stepped into.

    Mitsubishi needs new management, their recent decision making has been very poor. It seems as though their Malaysian manufacturing plant are doing much better with design than their japanese counterpart. The president of mitsubishi motors needs to change for the company to get back on track.
    I like the front of the cross but the back needs some modifications.

      @@misamisatv No they aren't, Nissan does own the controlling interest but that accounts for only 33%, and Nissan hasn't been doing much controlling of Mitsubishi operations since they're purchase of the company, they're holding out for a while.

    nie żebym spamował, ale jeszcze ciekawostka ode mnie; koleżanka jest po japonistyce i mówila, że nie mówi się SUSZI tylko SUSI i nie MITSUBISZI tylko MITSUBISI. to nie strzał, tylko ciekawostka:) Pozdrowienia:)

    •  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ja też studiowałam japonistykę. Tak, mówi się raczej [suśi], a w Mitsubishi jest jeszcze u, które wymawia się też trochę inaczej, ale obawiam się, że wszyscy fani wymowy [ejsid drinkers] zasypaliby Marka komentarzami, gdyby starał się jeszcze o poprawną japońską wymowę. Która, skądinąd, poza Japonią nie jest w żaden sposób obecna w komunikacji marki.

    I tested the car with the very same specs in Germany two months ago. Watching this review I just waited Marek to give statement about the manual gearbox. It‘s a shame - this car just can‘t be driven normally in a city traffic, where changing gears is very much requested. It‘s a torture, so painfully jumpy on every up-shift. To blame is the absolutely devastating combination of this turbo petrol motor and the manual transmission. I‘m pretty sure, better to drive will be the CVT version. But anyway - this is another useless SUV.

      I could never understand people that complain about hard plastic interior. Why would you want a soft touch dashboard?
      Do you intend to sleep there?. The only time i ever touch the dash is when its time to clean. Also cars like volkswagen , Audi, their interior quality is very poor with clips breaking and interior falling apart in less than 5 years. I would much rather have hard plastic and the interior last the age of the car.
