Fjordur is a bit strange with the eggs, sometimes they and their guards doesnt even respawn and yuo'll need to dinowipe to make them spawn again
Yeah I've had that issue with the wyverns in particular. I haven't had any wyverns respawn at all so I'll have to try the dino wipe
How do you do a dino wipe? Im on ps5

I went down there on a Karkinos with Ascendant saddle and had an Ascendant pump shotgun. Got a couple good eggs and cleared out all the bad ones. Let my crab tank the Drakes while I shot them. Everything went smoothly except my Fjordhawk died from the radiation 😭

Omg and there's a little sizzling noise and I had no clue that noise was my husband's hawk until his died. I flew as fast as possible back out and mine barely made it.
@@suzylikesit7875 yeah I kept hearing the noise and saw the radiation symbol, kept checking my health and didn't even think about my Fjordhawk cause I thought they had invulnerability while on my shoulder

The mushroom soup definitely needs a buff to its time. That’s insanely short
i remember it lasting 10 minutes. not just 2. thats definitly too short.

for how dangerous radiation is it most certainly should be a ten minute timer or longer like 15. shouldnt need 5000 mushroom brews to go exploring in a radiation cave

You can use the desmodus in all the caves, even in caves not on Fjordur. The desmodus is also immune to radiation, and if you have a high enough level it can easily dispatch rock drakes by itself.
He'll just say he "doesn't like to use it in caves cause it's cheesy"....but then we see him use it in most caves all the time. Especially caves he loots over and over 🙄
The hawk seems more "cheesy" then the bat and he uses the hawk ALL THE TIME killing himself to teleport home, even while encumbered. He did both of these things in this episode alone 😏

I just rewatched ur aberration video you posted 5 years ago so much nostalgia from watching it again.
The cave doesn’t technically count as a cave which is why you dont lag when you leave it so eggs start to spoil when you enter asgard
That's because Asgard is a cave. Asgard, Jotunnheim, and Vanaheim are all caves, which is why you can't use flyers other than the Desmodus in them.

@@skuzzybuzz293 no idea. That's just how the realms are coded. If you take any flyer to another realm you just can't mount them. But if you enable cave flyers, suddenly you can.
I think the bridge going up looks cool and matches the overall aesthetic. Reminds me of the floating bridges around seattle
Syntac i have a new series idea. So remember the ultimate ark series where u would go on all the story maps. Can u do that on the custom maps. And in the order that they came out in as well. But u can only bring 2 normal dinos and 1 shoulder pet. Then u can also determine how many episodes u want to do for each map.
I think this would be a good series to do until Ark 2 comes out.

I used to play ark in 2016 with my friend just to found out that we were both so stupid in taming dinos, but we sure had a good time, a good laugh.

Maybe you can use the already built gate as a grand entrance to the main building and have all the other smaller gates for the bridges. Itd save you a few hours of moving walls and the effect would still be great.

When going through this cave i used a spino as for some reason non abborant spinos dont take radiation damage in that cave so they come really in handy
Fairly new to this game and this place was the first place I encountered a rock drake
The Mushroom Brew lasts for only 120 seconds, similar to the Insect killer buff on the megatherium

Use desmodus, latch onto the side of a rock and use your longneck to tranq the gifs, when it runs away, fly near the ground and shoot it still, when it turns around, go up and latch again. Rinse and repeat. Easy giga taming

Nice, I just tamed a 180 and a 168 R-Gigas on the Gen2 map. Haven't been able to find them on Fjordur despite multiple dino wipes and haunting their spawns, but the 180 and the 168 I found should make some nice baby gigas for me after I transfer them.

Me and my friend went down with no hazard suit or mushroom soup. We just used the Andrew's saddle to not take radiation damage and just healed through it when we dismounted to get eggs. Pretty good way to get eggs earlier than intended IMO.
Red dragon mice are surprisingly great. I don't have the legend, mine is just one with like letters and numbers as a name and two red buttons on the side, but it has lasted me FAR longer than any other mouse. And I've never had driver issues like I always seem to with Razers.

I use the side buttons for MMO stuff. Mostly just the first 6, though I do have long cool down stuff on 12.
I have run into nameless on this map in an aberation cave. I only remember because I was explaining to my tribemate who just started playing what the venom was for and to be wary of reapers!

As a heads up, the rocks in that aberrant cave you keep hitting up for loot drops can be harvested for element shards.

@@jacobsmith8163 Specifically the large Grey rocks. Not the tiny ones or the nameless venom, but any other rock in that cave will give condensed gas and element shards as well as stone and metal.
This map with the hunted mod would be EPIC do it!
Don't forget some Lightning, Poison, and Ice Dragons!

dont know if this got changed but you should try using a doedic or anky for the nameless venom, they are realy efficient.
edit: I think the doedic is the more effective one, am not 100% sure though

This cave was fun to raid. If you kill everything and steal all the eggs, you can leave the cave and go right back in and do it all again. At least in single player.
